Adrien Broner feeling mean, says anyone he gets in the ring with he’s going to “do damage to”

Former four-weight titlist Adrien Broner, who recently spent 30-days in his own company and pretty much nobody else’s as he served time in jail for contempt of court, is feeling pretty mean right now. Having been released just days ago, “The Problem” is already thinking about fighting again. And AB said to ES News that he is aiming high; he still wants Manny Pacquiao and he says that if he ever does face Pac-Man, he will “f**k him up.”

Broner seems desperate to fight and he warned whoever his next opponent might be how he aims to “do damage.”

“I’d f**k Pacquiao up,” Broner said. “In that fight I would have a big possibility of stopping Pacquiao. I can hit with both hands and I can match his speed and I’m a sharper puncher now than Pacquiao if you ask me. Where my state of mind is I feel like anybody I get in the ring with right now – I’m going to do damage to.”

Broner, every fight fan’s favourite bad guy, may fight again as soon as October according to his team who spoke with RingTV upon his release from prison. Whoever the opponent is, it’s likely Broner will enjoy a big audience. Of course, most of the fans will be tuning in in the hopes of seeing the trash-talking “Problem” get beaten. Popular is not a word to use when describing Broner. Still, it’s hard not to agree with Broner when he says “nobody wants to see Pacquiao-Jessie Vargas,” who of course meet in Las Vegas on November 5. That fight is largely seen as a dud in the eyes of the paying fans, and wouldn‘t it have been better, more exciting, spicier if Pac-Man, the good guy, was getting ready to fight Broner, the bad guy, instead?

Broner would perhaps have a shot at stopping the 37-year-oldf version of Pac-Man, but Pacquiao would also have a great chance of downing Broner. This fight might still happen one day, who knows. And it would be one to see; with a KO, one way or the other, being an extreme possibility. And the fight would be nasty, nasty, nasty. That’s what Broner does, he entertains with his own unique qualities. He may be nobody’s role model, but Broner knows how to sell a fight.
