Should the guaranteed heavyweight explosion that is Deontay Wilder, WBC king Vs. Anthony Joshua, WBA/IBF champ, take place in the U.S, the U.K, or some place else? Without doubt THE biggest possible fight that can be made in the glamour division of the sport today, Wilder-Joshua HAS to happen and, all being well for we fight fans, it will happen.

When they were fighting, the Klitschko brothers always had each other’s back. If one brother lost a fight, rest assured his sibling would do all he could to avenge the defeat so as to “restore the Klitschko family name.”
Wladimir lost to Corrie Sanders, and Vitali avenged the KO loss with a KO win of his own; while Vitali lost to Chris Byrd, only for Wladimir to punish Byrd on his way to family revenge. And now, in what would be a sensation if it actually happened, Vitali is talking (with a smile) about the possibility of coming back to the ring to avenge his brother’s April KO loss to Anthony Joshua.
Recently Amir Khan used his instagram to apologize for his lengthy absence and declare that he is ready for a ring return. 2017 has not been the best year for Khan. First off he has not fought in over a year. His last fight being a scary knock out at the hands of Canelo Alvarez. Despite performing well, especially early on he fell to Canelo’s power. Also he had a potential fight with former stablemate Manny Pacquiao fall through. Khan’s personal life has been a bit of a struggle as well. As we all know personal issues can either distract us from our work or drive us. It will be interesting to see which is the case for Khan.
Last night in Edinburgh, Scotland 33 year old Sam Sexton won the vacant British heavyweight title with a grueling 12 round points win over Scottish hero Gary Cornish. After 12 at times exciting, at times messy rounds, Sexton of Norwich prevailed by scores of 116-113, 116-114 and 115-114.
Christian “Chimpa” Gonzalez (18-1, 15 KOs) confirmed yet again that he is one of the best and brightest prospects of the exclusive Golden Boy Promotions stable with a hard-earned eight-round unanimous decision victory against former WBC Super Featherweight Champion Gamaliel “El Platano” Diaz (40-18-3, 19 KOs) of Michoacan, Mexico in the main event of the latest edition of LA FIGHT CLUB at the Belasco Theater in Downtown Los Angeles and televised live nationally on Estrella TV’s Boxeo Estelar. The charismatic knockout artist of Buena Park, Calif. won with scores of 79-72, 79-72 and 76-75 in a tough fight held in the super lightweight division.
Dillian Whyte (21-1, 16 KOs) won’t be facing former heavyweight title challenger Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale (18-1, 16 KOs) on October 28 like his promoter Eddie Hearn had been hoping for. According to Dan Rafael, Breazeale’s team said the Whyte-Breazeale fight is NOT happening.
Errol Spence Jr. will be back in the ring to defend his IBF welterweight title in December or January, possibly against Lamont Peterson (35-3-1, 17 KOs). This is a very good fight if it comes off. Spence vs. Peterson would be a real war.
