Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has started training, and he’s looking very good for a fighter that is still overweight. In the training video released, Fury is showing the movement and athletic skills that made him the No.1 heavyweight in the division 2 years ago in 2015.

Shannon Briggs says that after he KO’s “Whale” Tyson Fury, Wladimir Klitschko will come back to fight him
There sure is some crazy comeback talk fluttering around the boxing word right about now: what with Oscar De La Hoya saying how he has been “secretly training” and how he needs just “two rounds” to stop MMA star Conor McGregor, and with Julio Cesar Chavez, who pretty much disgraced himself in his last fight, against Canelo Alvarez, plotting yet another ring return of his own (would you pay good money to see him fight again?)
Tyson Fury will be back in April says Peter Fury: Only fear is that Joshua doesn’t get beat beforehand
We’ve heard it before and until we actually see him in the ring, we’ll be understandably cynical. But Peter Fury, uncle and head trainer of former heavyweight champ Tyson Fury told BBC Sport yesterday how the unbeaten 29 year old will be back in the ring in April of next year.
Fury, who hasn’t boxed for two full years, his out of the ring problems overwhelming him shortly after his great upset win over the now retired Wladimir Klitschko, is said to be back in training and losing weight. The target, as the outspoken giant has made more than clear, is a mega-fight with reigning and unbeaten WBA and IBF heavyweight ruler Anthony Joshua.
Even in retirement Wladimir Klitschko is being taunted by Tyson Fury; Fury pens open letter to Wladimir
Tyson Fury taunted Wladimir Klitschko quite relentlessly ahead of, during and after his November 2015 fight with him, and Fury is still hurling insults at the man he decisioned in Germany – even though “Dr. Steel Hammer” has retired. (Photo credit: Tyson Fury Instagram)
Fury, making serious noise about being serious about fighting again, stating he will come back after his now two-year absence and “destroy” Anthony Joshua, has penned an open letter to Klitschko, which he has posted on social media. In the letter, Fury informs Wladimir how he will “be haunting your nightmares forever.”
Hughie Fury – A Reflection Of His Cousin?
There has been a lot of talk over the last few days about the best current heavyweight boxer and who that may be. Some think it’s Joshua, whilst others champion the causes of Wilder and Parker. Some still think that Tyson Fury is still the king of heavyweight boxing even with his “issues” and having been out of the ring for the last two years.
Tyson Fury: I opened up the whole division, never get any credit for it
Tyson Fury insists he is ready to regain his status as the world’s premier heavyweight – a position he held for just a few months after upsetting Wladimir Klitschko two full years ago. As fans know, it wasn’t long after the big win in Germany that Fury all but imploded: battling depression, alcohol and drugs and food.
Shannon Briggs says he’s been in talks with Warren for a fight with Fury; says he’s nobody’s tune-up!
Shannon Briggs has taken to social media (again) to announce how he has been in talks with promoter Frank Warren regarding a bout between he and the possibly set to return Tyson Fury. It goes without saying that absolutely nothing is close to close to concrete as far as these two great talkers are concerned (will Fury ever fight again? Will Briggs get a license to box in the UK himself?) but Briggs is eager to be the first man Fury faces upon his will-it-won’t-it-happen comeback.
Tyson Fury compares his coming back to Ali’s epic return to the crown versus Foreman
It’s just talk and will remain as such until he gets his license back, but former and unbeaten heavyweight ruler Tyson Fury is busy calling out not only his rival Brit Anthony Joshua, but also Deontay Wilder.
As convinced as ever that he has the beating of both the reigning WBA/IBF champ along with the current WBC king, Fury has declared, once again, how he will be back. And this time, via his twitter page, Fury has said his return to glory by “taking down” Joshua will be just like the great Muhammad Ali’s return to the crown against George Foreman back in 1974.
Which fight would you rather see: Joshua-Wilder or Joshua-Fury? Maybe we will get both
Begging Joseph Parker’s pardon, there is really only one world heavyweight title fight that matters right now; only one that would be wholly deserving of having a Super-Fight tag attached: Anthony Joshua-Deontay Wilder.
Tyson Fury hits twitter again: “I’ll have three fights in 2018”
Former heavyweight king Tyson Fury has teased us before, with messages put out on social media promising “a big announcement,” only for none to come. Tyson has also vowed to retire, telling us via twitter how he will never fight again. And just recently, the never-beaten former champ announced via his twitter page how he would not be seeking a new license to box from the British Boxing Board of Control.
