Chicago ga y, miss words: Knockcquiao has win 8 titles with catchweight BS in his favor against drained and old fellas coming from devasting losses, many of them vacant titles, unlike Money May who has NEVER won a vacant title, he takes them from P4P #10 champs. Like i said before if Money was calling Knockcquiao out u and ur crew of morons be saying Money expected him to slow down to challenge him, u are a bunch of clowns who contradict urselves all of the time, BTW i dont want u leave ESB i have a lot of fun with ur lame arguments ; )

Six handpick opponents of Fraudie’s circus for 30 months period. Guerrero,Angulo, Alvarez,Alexander,Maidana and D. Garcia. No Pacquiao because he is scared. Six easy fights that he can surely win. Pacquiao/Fraudie fight can still outsell all this six fight combined but Fraudie don’t want to risk his health and his zero reccord. Six easy money that’s his smart option. Circus begin May4th.

Ummmm……floyd. you were never going to fight pacman anyway :-s

Posted February 25, 2013 2:26 am

Mayweather and PAC should still fight. PAC lost his last fight but that doesn’t change the fact that it would still be the biggest fight in boxing. People can say what they want but I’m pretty sure that everybody on ESB and all boxing fans around the world would watch. This fight would still break the ppv record. PAC is a more deserving opponent then the ghost.
The hype would be insane. Mayweasther would be a huge favorite and deservedly so but you never know PAC is still a great fighter. Pacman for the first time in a long time would be the underdog. Fans love the underdog and would definitely get behind PAC.
Say what you like about PAC but every fight fan and many casual fans still want to see this fight.
Unfortunately will never see it. Styles make fights and Floyd is the master he is a better fighter then PAC but maybe he sees something that we don’t see. Maybe Floyd knows that PAC is a bad style match up for him. When is the last time Floyd has fought somebody with just as fast hands and foot speed? Styles make fights , Floyd does not have the punching power of a juiced up Marquez. Floyd is a great defensive fighter but with PACs speed and southpaw style I’m sure he could hit Floyd more then he has ever been hit before. Floyd doesn’t want this fight because win lose or draw he would be guaranteed to take more damage then he’s accustomed too.

Always blamed both for fight not happening, but floyd keeps adding more excuses & showing why it’s just as much his fault(First it was tests now he’s got two more problems in order to face him). Why doesn’t he just admit fight won’t ever happen & he doesn’t want it either, tired of same old bs.You don’t fight threats(Sergio/Pac ect) we get it floyd you’re #1 you make the calls & therefore don’t have to fight them lol.

Chicago guy, I get the feeling your not a fan of Freddie Roach.

Depending on how Trout looks against CA, which I think he wins, I would like to see FMJ fight Trout next.

Doofusdalgo goes on to say….”he feels its necessary to justify why he’s fighting someone who’s at the very bottom of the P4P scale”- LMFAO!! Its BETTER than justifying why you’re Fighting 3 Fighters in a ROW that don’t even REGISTER on the P4P scale like Arum and Roach had to DO for Pacquiao.

Posted February 24, 2013 8:16 pm

Pacquiao/Fraudie fight is not yet dead because people still want to see it. Only Fraudie’s excuses are killing it. Fraudie is scared to death.

Posted February 24, 2013 8:14 pm

Hidalgo also says…”Nor does he want one. He’s proven that time and time again” – CORRECT. Floyd has shown time and time again that he likes to face Fighters coming off of impressive WINS not disappointing LOSSES. And I APPLAUD him on that.

Posted February 24, 2013 8:06 pm

“Next time follow Boxing a little closer.” Braggadamus, doesn’t matter what Marquez said. Money talks. That’s why Marquez is considering a 5th fight with Pacquiao. If the money was right, Marquez would fight Pac again. Thing is, Mayweather hasn’t called out Marquez.

Posted February 24, 2013 8:03 pm

Hidalgo says…”you wouldn’t dare fight the #3 P4P when there’s a #10 P4P around, would you”- Next time follow Boxing a little closer. #3 P4P has SAID that he doesn’t care to try to avenge his LOSS to the #1 P4P Fighter in the World. His whole mission was to knock out the #0 P4P KING Manny Pacquiao and he DID that.

I agree pacquia mayweather fight is dead for now barring some major changes in boxing > so why isnt floydnow talking about austin trout a real tough fight I hope he isnt trying to avoid trout . I not saying floyd a ducker but he neve fought prime pacquia the tough paul williams margarito a pre koed cotto instead he fced the smaller ricky hatton and pre striod marquez

Posted February 24, 2013 7:51 pm

“Floyd sat around taking powder puff opponents while Pac cleaned out the 147 division”- HAHAHAHHAHA!!! Pacquiao cleaned out 147 while Floyd cleaned out the P4P list. The P4P list is GREATER than the 147 pound division. Pacquiao agrees with ME on that!

You Pacquiao nut-huggers are psychotic in your obsessions. Pacquiao doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He’s damaged goods. Mayweather crunches the numbers. Roach even blamed a “foot-stomp” in the week for the JMM knockout?
This where the sickness starts, right at the top with the Devil Arum himself, through the mentally ill, deluded Freddie Roach where it transfers onto the fanboys.
Only the modern day posterboys and glory hunters would believe that after two losses, Pacquiao holds the cards and Floyd is running scared.
Mayweather would knock Pacquiao into the third row. Mayweather doesn’t need Pacquiao. They held him up as long as they could.
Can anyone tell us how Bob Arums 40,000 seater stadium is coming along in Vegas?

Some people dont seem smart enough to realise that sometimes people dont actually mean what they say.

He probably would take him on if he came back and beat Marquez, but downplaying the Manny situation is simply Floyd being Floyd.

You people should be aware of this, much like how Floyd was going to fight Alexander.

FYI even prime for prime i have always picked Floyd over Manny. Manny has one fighting style and cant adapt, Floyd has many. Not saying Manny couldnt beat Floyd in their primes, i just think Manny is an eltie fighter, Floyd has god given talent.

If Pacquiao lost to JMM is a credible basis that Pacquiao is already damaged good the question is why Fraudie is still avoiding to fight him. It is a big advantage for him. People still want to see that fight but Fraudie don’t want the fight, simple as that a coward.

Pacman should retire. He is definitely on the down hill side of a GREAT career and how many times do you see when someone fully recovers from that type of KO. It is far from likely he would have ever beat Mayweather. He should walk away now, too many other goods things he can do.

Not a fan of Mayweather, but who is out there that looks like they can beat him this stage??

Posted February 24, 2013 1:22 pm

I am not really sure if pacman fans saw the fight between PAC and JMM, so I will just remind everyone of the outcome. Pacman was knock the “F” out., in one of the worse knocks anyone has ever seen in the history of boxing. When a fighter gets knocked out like that, no one is afraid of him anymore, as they have seen that he has a weak .

I am sorry your country only has one hero out of the whole country, but that does not allow you to hold him up as a GOD. Again it is very simple he was knocked unconscious in his last fight, no one is Afraid of him as theyhave seen the blueprint on how to beat him.

Posted February 24, 2013 11:42 am

Mayweather would likely fight PAC at some point if Manny beat Marquez, the Bradley comment is just a good way to marginalize Manny… It would be a bad play to fight Pacquiao coming off a loss like that, the haters would have a field day…. Pacman is not currently a good play, if Manny is still a force he will find a way to impressively defeat JMM…

Posted February 24, 2013 11:19 am

The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is not necessary. Manny has to retire because HE is very rich right now. He is the one and only 8-time division champion boxer and I think no one can ever match that accomplishment. There is no mountain to climb for Manny even if he beat Floyd or get beaten by Floyd and even if he beat Marquez or beaten again by Marquez. For Floyd, well if He wants to fight then he can fight anyone and no one can beat him because he is a very good boxer. Again, the fight for Manny right now is imaterialized.

Posted February 24, 2013 10:44 am

Another excuse of Fraudie of avoiding Pacquiao to fight. Boxing fans doesn’t care Pacquiao lost to JMM and still wanting the fight to happen. Why Fraudie really care about Pacquiao losses it doesn’t makes sense if he wanted to fight him. What is the point that Pacquiao need to avenge first his two losses, what is the connection if Fraudie want to fight him. Excuse, excuse. endless excuses by pretender

Posted February 24, 2013 9:33 am

Just another excuse for the pretender mayweather. First it was blood tests and now this. He’s making any excuses to avoid Pacman.

even after Paquiao looses by a devistating k.o. Floyd is still scared to fight him?

Posted February 24, 2013 9:16 am

Floyd may be in trouble if he has Paquiao on his mind right now. the only person he should be thinking about is Guerrero! other wise he may wind up having some unfinished buisness of his own. with Guerrero.

Floyd never wanted to share a ring with Pacman when Manny was blitzing through the likes of Hatton, Cotto and Margarito…looks he doesn’t want to face the faded version now either…maybe when Pacman is 40 and is a complete shell of the great fighter he once was, he’ll fight hom then??

Posted February 24, 2013 5:24 am

Did Cotto have to avenge his losses to fight Mayweather? What about Marquez? What about all the other fighters Floyd cherry picked, did they have to avenge their losses before stepping into the “lions den”? Coward.

Ah, Floyd’s latest excuse. Manny beat Bradley easily, everyone knows that was a terrible decision. And Marquez finally lands a once in a life time lucky punch after being pummeled around the ring. Keep bobbin and weavin Floyd, we all know you won’t fight anyone you know you can’t beat. Been doing it your whole career. Why stop now? And I personally think PBF would beat Manny, but apparently he’s not so sure because he always says its about the money. There’s no more money to made than to fight Manny, and he knows that. Keep bobbin and weavin Floyd, keep bobbin and weavin..

Posted February 24, 2013 3:42 am

“Mayweather doesn’t need a manny fight” Nor does he want one. He’s proven that time and time again. As for Guerrero being Mayweather’s “mandatory.” So what? Every sanctioning body has provision in their rules for champions to fight mandatories within a certain time period. And during that time period, they can also fight non-mandatories. But using this “mandatory” excuse is just pathetic. Jr. says he won’t fight Pacquiao until Pac avenges his losses. Yet, he feels it’s necessary to justify why he’s fighting someone who’s at the very bottom of the P4P scale. “Mandatory” has nothing to do with it!

Posted February 24, 2013 2:42 am

“Mayweather said “First Manny Pacquiao has to get past Marquez, a fighter I beat with ease. I mean, that was one of my easiest fights. ” No doubt. I suppose you do remember though, that you cheated on your weight for that fight? You know, the one you paid more than a $600,000 penalty for? But that was then and this is now. Marquez is a different fighter now–much stronger–quicker, but hey, you wouldn’t dare fight the #3 P4P when there’s a #10 P4P around, would you? And you know damn well that you would NEVER in your lifetime score a KO on Pacquiao like Marquez did. Never! Oh, I know you’re already chomping at the bit to respond to my posts, SRedmond. Here’s a toothpick. You know what it’s for.

Posted February 24, 2013 2:36 am

Ray Ray

When u whop Marquez 4 12 rnds than Marquez ko’s Manny than y shouldn’t Floyd say what he wants. Both he and Manny should stop mentioning each others name it’s never going 2 happen. Mayweather doesn’t need a manny fight. Mandatory Ghost, Alvarez and possibly Martinez. Manny is still dancing around with the same guys. Surprised manny hasn’t called out Morales again.

Posted February 24, 2013 2:36 am

All Floyd has to do is keep his mouth shut, but he can’t do that. We don’t see him calling out Marquez either, do we? Seems to me that this is the first thing this “great” champion would do. After all, Joy Jr. always reminds the world that he likes to fight the best. But that was a devastating KO, the likes of which Floyd knows he would never get on Manny. Matter of fact, Floyd is probably still astonished that Marquez was able to put Pacquiao’s lights out like that–and I do mean “astonished,” as was most of the world. So no, Floyd won’t fight Marquez again. And yes, Floyd will put yet another roadblock between him and Manny Pacquiao, meanwhile he’ll fight the #10 P4P boxer Robert Guerrero. Wait! Marquez is #3 P4P! Oh I, forgot, a 10 is higher than a 3. Then there’s Martinez at #4, Pacquiao at #7, and Bradley at #9. Silly me. Fighting the best, huh? Is that before or after you cheat on weight or win a fight by sucker punches via assistance by a crooked ref? Ah yes, the great Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Posted February 24, 2013 2:30 am

“Pacquiao has to avenge his losses to Marquez and Bradley before I’ll fight him.” Wow! It gets harder and harder to believe that Joy Jr. is not afraid to fight Manny Pacquiao. Nice planning Floyd. It’s almost a certainty you won’t have to come up with another excuse for at least two years. Because that’s how long it will probably take, if it ever does happen, for those two fights to take place. No wonder so many boxing fans call you “Fraud.”

Posted February 24, 2013 2:17 am

It will be a cold day in hell before this fight ever happens;PEDman needs to get by Marquez and Bradley, then pass random blood testing…good luck with that!!

Fight Aficionado

Don’t care anyhow. Floyd sat around taking powder puff opponents while Pac cleaned out the 147 division. Eventually you get caught when doing that. Now Floyd’s methodology of ducking the best comp has paid off because everyone else has been smoked already, while his weak ass comp since moving above 135 paid dividends. This sets a wretched precedent for the sport. Expect more of the same from other upcoming title holders. The Floyd nut slurpers who deny this fact are not fans of boxing, they’re hero worshippers.

Posted February 23, 2013 11:05 pm

Meh, who really cares?
I don’t think Floyd means what he’s saying… I think he’s just trying to stir up controversy to make a long since irrelevent fight meaningful again so he can get his monster payday.
I hope both Floyd and Pacquiao both lose all of their fights from here on… serves them both right for BOTH being responsible for avoiding what could’ve been the biggest fight in boxing in years.

Posted February 23, 2013 10:48 pm

Hahaha! PEDs excuse is off the hook. Here comes the new excuse of Floyd.

Posted February 23, 2013 10:45 pm

Marquez against Floyd was undersized. Floyd was overweight above the limit. Pacquiao against Marquez, Marquez looked physically imposing and very muscular. If Marquez was at that physique, Floyd will accuse Marquez of PEDS and will not fight him. case closed!

Posted February 23, 2013 10:41 pm

What’s new? Marquez had the balls to prove he can beat Pacquiao just to shut everyone up. Floyd? Another NEW FOUND reason to avoid Pacquiao. When Pacquiao was considered the most dangerous opponent, no.1 pound for pound and won his phenomenal record of 8 world titles in 8 weight division, that’s the time Floyd should have proven HE IS THE KING by fighting Pacquiao. The author is also a coward who doesn’t want floyd to fight Pacquiao. Case closed.

Pac TOOK huge amounts of mayweathers spotlight over the last 7 years. HUGE! Floyd could really make a statment by KOing manny, even now! Pac was KTFO COLD, he is older now, slower, and ring worn, and mayweather doesnt want to fight him, EVEN NOW??????? I am really really suprised by this. This statement changes my opinion about this whole soap opera. I was actually starting to believe floyd about the drug testing deal, ect ect, but this statement has changed my mind again. Wow!

Did this writer actually say that floyd has a good point???? fanboy writer. Pac vs floyd would still generate HUGE numbers!

Posted February 23, 2013 9:42 pm

Great, so that means that Floyd would be willing to sign a contract now to fight Pacquiao with a clause that he must have won against Marquez and Bradley in the meantime? I think Floyd is going to be the Roy Jones of his generation; in 2 or 3 years when all the current crop have retired he’ll be trying to stay relevant fighting guys he can’t beat because age has caught up with him and he’ll be wishing then that he’d fought the best back when he probably could have beaten them.

Posted February 23, 2013 9:39 pm

Bad PR move to say this……. In the soap opera of manny vs floyd potential matchup, this will just go down as another excuse that floyd came up with. It honestly seems like floyd deos not want to fight manny. Pac has slipped because of too many ring wars, and it APPEARS to most everyone that floyd would dominate and/or KO him, but floyd STILL doesnt want to fight him???? Still??? Wow!

Hecdog, Manny fought everyone. He fought a weightdrained cotto, de la hoya and margarito. He struggled against marquez three times then got ktfo. He lost to tim bradley in a closer fight than people think. Mayweather fought cotto at his natural weight and de la hoya. Mosley caught mayweather but didnt even knock him down and mayweather kicked his ass for the next ten rounds after it. In regards to hatton being a fabricated fighter you obviously know nothing about boxing. Hatton was one of the greatest british fighters in the last 30years, a two weight world champion who only lost to mayweather and pacman. Forget about the senchenko loss hatton was finished before that fight and should never of gone through with it. Obviuosly a pacman lover who cant take it that his man is washed up and wouldnt last 3rounds with mayweather. Remember this post, floyd mayweather to make robert guerrero a good fighter look like an ordinary fighter in may and his corner to retire him in the late rounds. Peace out.

Of course he does, then he has to undergo extensive drug testing, then he has to promise not to hit Floydie, then he has to give Mayflower most of the purse, then he has to shine Floydies shoes, then he has to jump through hoops that are on fire, then he has to dance with Chihuahuas, then he has lose twenty pounds, then he has to live on chicken and waffles like Floydie in training camp, then he has to use a new trainer, then he has to wear only one shoe in the ring, then he has to have two pints of blood drained before the fight, then he has to memorize the Emancipation Proclamation and on and on and on….

Posted February 23, 2013 6:27 pm

To Hecdog, I really don’t believe Guerrero is a threat to Floyd. Floyd would be too fast and mobile for Guerrero to do any damage. We may love or hate Floyd, but the truth of the matter is that he’s a great boxer with outstanding skills. Even at this point of his career he’s better than most 147 or 154 pound fighters. Guerrero will be overwhelmed and perhaps even stop late in the fight.

Posted February 23, 2013 6:26 pm

Floyd Mayweather is nothing but the Most Courageous Boxer of All times. It takes MUCH courage to face 4 Top 10 P4P and 5 World CHAMPS in a 6 Fight span. Not Ray Leonard, not Duran, Hearns, Pacquiao, Chavez, or Robinson can match it….Floyd is CORRECT. HE likes to face Fighters who are coming off impressive WINS not consecutive LOSSES. Pacquiao needs to avenge those LOSSES to LESSER Fighters than Mayweather before challenging Numero Uno like Robert Guerrero DID…. YOU have no power over saying who anyones God IS. Guerrero MAY do what is impossible to many which is make it a full 12 rds with the GOAT. YOU agree with ME that it will be a small miracle.

Posted February 23, 2013 6:24 pm

Sound just like another excuse on Floyd’s part to not face Pac. A fight against Pac, even today, would make Floyd more money than he’ll ever need; saying Pac must first avenge his two previous loses it’s just an excuse to avoid facing him…after all, he faced Marquez even though Marquez had lost to Pac. He never requested to Marquez to first avenge his lost to Pac.

Sure, Pac avenging his two loses would be a tremendous boost to PPV and ticket sales, but what about if he loses one or even both fights? My take is that if that were to happen (and could really well be the case) then Floyd will lose the chance to his biggest purse of his career.

Floyd might as well admit it…he wants to retire with a perfect record and Pac could derail that goal if they do face each other. I’m not saying he’s afraid of Pac, but certainly doesn’t feel confident enough to face him.

I find Floyd’s self-serving excuses…….amusing. It was alright to defend against Zab Judah directly after Judah lost his welterweight crown and it was alright to con the masses against Cotto despite the fact Cotto had unfinished business with Manny Pacquioa. By Floyd’s reasoning, he himself has built part of his legacy by facing undeserving fighters.
