You can have the biggest talent in the world ,but if you don’t have the heart and the will to succeed ,you won’t go to far as in the case of Buster Douglas ,,Douglas was terrify of Holyfield ,,after Holyfield connected with the right hand Douglas stay down ,even though he could have gotten up….

Anonymous – Yeah sure that could happen and I can buy that, but we must realise that even if Wladimir Klitschko now is dominant fighter and a great world heavyweight champion, he was back then not fully his own potential and foguth with a bad defence, diden’t use his jab like now and was unsteady on his legs many times and was not that good yeath to handle aggresive fighters and Mike Tyson was still dangerous in the ring back then and I’m sure Wladimir at the time would have had big time trouble with Tyson. James Buster Douglas was a rare gem in his time becouse Douglas always had the potential of a great boxer in him and the same with his athletic nature but he many times lacked spiritual motivation and that cost him some fights but when he was fired up like when he fought Oliver McCall, Trevor Berbick and of course Mike Tyson, he was almost unstopble.

Mike Tyson was a great fighter ,,but not a great champion ,,he could not hold on to the title for to long ,,Tyson never really beat a great fighter besides Michael Spinks ,who was an actual light heavy weight ,,Tyson lost every time he fought a great fighter ,,( Holyfield ) ,,, ( Lewis) ,,name me a great fighter that Tyson beat besides Spinks ….

Swedish Boxing Fan says: ” I don’t buy people saying he was done then becouse Tyson could easily have won a 3rd world heavyweight title belt if he had fought John Ruiz for his WBA title or Wladimir Klitschko for the WBO title ” What !!? Even a pre Buster Doughlas Tyson would have big trouble beating Wladimir Klitschko. The Tyson struggling against Botha would beat Wlad ? Wlad would surely be able to do what Buster did many years ago, and as seen in Tyson’s fight against Lennox, he was shot.

Great champion and great person. He was just a young guy with no direction, everything came hard knocks. But people around him transformed him into someone he wasn’t. Damato or Jacobs could have been around his whole career. He would have been undefeated Mike. Well helped guy, those two were missed in his career. He turned into someone else, a lot jealous, envy people around. He didn’t about, but he knows now. Don King can be the first guilty one.

Wow that was an long interview with Mike Tyson. I’m glad that Tyson have found some peace in recent year after his boxing career fell after his fights with Danny Williams and Kevin McBridge becouse those fights was sad to watch Tyson become a fallen champ. The great Lennox Lewis (1 year older then Tyson) took the last from “Iron” Mike Tyson in 2002 at ta time when both men was going for there end of career, but I don’t buy people saying he was done then becouse Tyson could easily have won a 3rd world heavyweight title belt if he had fought John Ruiz for his WBA title or Wladimir Klitschko for the WBO title so Tyson had 2 more oppertunitys to become champ again but the Lewis fight was worth a lot more in all perspectives. Annyway Tyson is doing well now and I hope he will do good things in the remaining life time.
