Gentlemen. we are hours away from witnessing in our lifetime the greatest fighter in the history of the sport. What an incredible feeling to be here in Las Vegas to see Manny Pacquiao bring home the victory and the title. The weigh-in was a memorable won for the history books. “Manny” “Manny” “Manny” “Manny” “Manny” Manny” and i led the cheers. I made hundreds of friends. Unfortunately, a few jealous pigs tried to rob me and take my Manny Pacquiao jacket, shoes, hat and watch, but luckily, I have been watching Manny for years and used some of his moves to evade the criminals. And I know it was planned, but Manny’s graceful quick feet got me out of trouble. Manny Pacquiao fans, warning! be careful of people around here. Okay, that incident is history, and I’m well for those of you that had interest. Now back to this historic event. The stars are out all over the place. Everyone wants a piece of Manny Pacquiao. He looks in great shape as does Timothy Bradley. What is most impressive is that Manny has always had the physical body frame of a 130 pounder, yet he still destroys the bigger foes with his speed, power, agility, smarts, defense and unbelievable knowledge of the sport. Bradley is a bit too over confident and has been trying to get into Manny’s head, but he failed. Watch this fight very closely in the very first round because Bradley is going to be hit. As I’ve said, manny wins this fight before round 4 or no later than round 9. I watched Manny shadow box for a minute. IMPRESSIVE! I tell all of you. this man is like a race horse chewing at the bit ready to go. I had fans all on the right beat as we chanted loudly “Manny” “Manny” :Manny” “Manny” “Manny” “Manny” Manny” over and over again. I handed one of Manny’s handlers a t-shirt to sign, but I’m still waiting to get it back. Hope he didn’t take it for himself. Oh well, I’m here for Manny anyway. Get ready people, there is no other legend that enters the boxing ring like Manny Pacquiao. Manny is on an emotional high that will bring out the best in him. A bunch of Manny Pacquiao fans found out it was mu birthday at one of the restaurants in the casino, and they all bought me my dinner and drinks and gave me some Manny memorabilia. Incredible to see how humble, loving, caring and giving Manny Pacquiao fans are. They resemble the legend themselves. If you’re not here at the fight, purchase the PPV event or catch it at a friends house or sports bar because you will regret it for life if you miss this Manny Pacquiao event. Sin City has now become a cleansed city of angels because of Manny. I even forgive those criminals that tried to jump me. All is forgiven, but I’m not walking alone ever again. Time for my new Manny Pacquiao attire to cloth me. Manny Pacquiao is going to light up the world tonight, Trust me on this. Manny is the best!

“When did PPV numbers become part of the dialogue of boxing? I don’t give a GD how many fools pay $70 for one decent but not great fight” emphatic Co-Sign. PPV numbers are a distinguishing feature of the Pacquiao* era. can’t wait until he’s gone.

The Prince

I should ask Hecdog pay for my PPV broadcast.

Actually, Fight Aficianado they already have.

Gentlemen, maybe I wasn’t clear when I said 1.2 million is low. I was trying to explain say that 1.2 million PPV is a low ESTIMATE. I believe that number will be much higher. I never sell Manny Pacquiao short ever. As some of you said, Manny has millions of fans that don’t even get accounted for because they can’t even afford to buy PPV. Manny is the biggest draw in boxing period when you take every fan into account, and just not the PPV numbers. And thank those of you that have wished me a happy birthday. I feel like I’m amonf family walking through these casinos. Manny Pacquiao fans all over. Manny Mania is on fire! Have a great day gentlemen….

When did PPV numbers become part of the dialogue of boxing? I don’t give a GD how many fools pay $70 for one decent but not great fight. The others on this card won’t make a FNF main event. I don’t recall this PPV number stuff being part of fans’ discussions back in the 90s. We talked about fighters and fights.

Posted April 11, 2014 6:52 pm

HECDOG is a loyal fan, but to think that Manny is not ONE of the biggest draws in boxing, that comment may show your ignorance… (Don’;t you just love these Anonymous posters)…. LOL.

Manny draws entire Asian continent. Manny draws well in Europe and in America. People want to point out at Maytwitters PPV’s with Oscar and Canelo as something, but fail to give credit to the opponents as well. Oscar and Canelo brought the entire spanish population with them, Mexico, California, Texas, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Venezuelans, etc… etc… Floyd didn’t do these massive numbers by himself.

So give Manny the credit he’s due. He is the real deal. He is not a manifestation of the media! He’s an 8 division world champ,.

Posted April 11, 2014 5:12 pm

@HECDOG, HAppy Birthday Dude…

Manny will give you a spectacular win tomorrow.

Posted April 11, 2014 5:03 pm

Dude, we get that you are huge fan. However, for you to say that 1.2 is a low-ball number speaks of your ignorance. This card will generate about 8 hundred large and that is it. He is by far NOT the biggest draw in boxing, you know who is. Just because he’s know worldwide doesn’t mean people are going to buy his anemic card, it simply means they know and respect what he does. Half of the population in the Philippines cannot afford a television, let alone a ppv event. Be a fan, not an idiot

Posted April 11, 2014 5:02 pm

@ Hidalgo, are you seriously defending this undercard?????
I thought my statement wouldn’t need any explanation.

Posted April 11, 2014 5:00 pm

Okay gentlemen, Manny Pacquiao will show why he is the only 8 division boxing champion in the history of the sport on Saturday night. This is not your average elite boxer that is going in for a win. Manny Pacquiao is a super human type of athlete that comes around once in a lifetime. You will be impressed with just how much power and speed he has. Timothy Bradley does not have the style, ability, power or ring smarts to beat him. Manny will beat him in all phases of the fight. Speed, power, boxing, movement and his superb defense. Yes, his defense will astound people. He will seem like one of those Indy Race Car drivers that sees the crash up ahead and cars crashing and flying all over the place, but he manages to avoid everyone of them by mere inches and goes on to win. Manny will not only make Bradley miss, but the punishment he’s going to put on him will be hard to see. Manny will slowly and systematically break Bradley down quickly. This fight as i have said can end as early as the 4th round or no later than 9 rounds. You will see greatness perform in the ring. Manny Pacquiao will separate himself from all current and past champions with this one fight because it will be a tough, tough, fight until the end. Bradley will get a bit too brave and the end will come fast. Manny Pacquiao will have his hands raised triumphantly. There will no longer be any questions about his ability. No more questions about his health, age, durability, power or anything else to doubt this fighting machine. People will understand why he is the standard all all boxers will be compared to much in the same manner as Sugar Ray Robinson. Manny is just so much bigger than life. He embodies pureness, integrity, honor, love, justice and peace in the world. This victory is more than just a win. This is for those people that need hope. People that have nothing. and want someone to show them that it’s possible. Manny Pacquiao will dominate this fight, and life will be a bit brighter. Trust me on this. Manny is the best!

Posted April 11, 2014 4:48 pm

Arum is CORRECT. There are about 1.2 million hard core Boxing fans that will pay for the Big Fights. To get more than that it has to be a SUPER Fight with 2 A side opponents. Bradley is still a B side opponent SO it won’t DO much more than 1.2 million.

Posted April 11, 2014 3:45 pm

i don’t know Hecdog I see Timmy pully this one out more convincingly but maybe giving Pac the benifit of the doubt this time to even the score sort of speak even though i saw the last fight as a draw in my opinion…quote that!

The whole Philippines will be watching! 2 millions PPV buys….world wide!

Happy Birthday Hec, tell Pac to give you a brain for your Birthday. Because I’m not sure he can deliver this time. I don’t think Bradley will stand toe to toe. He will run, and it will be boring.

I just stopped my friends from ordering this fight for 2 reason 1 pac already won and will win this 1 and 2nd there’s no good under card it just not worth the $$$

Posted April 11, 2014 1:16 pm

Malachi & Tomato Can my friends, I appreciate your kind words. I am a big Manny Pacquiao fan as you guys already know. I enjoy supporting a man that is truly humble and honest about himself. He puts himself out there, and sometimes it hasn’t worked out the way he wanted it to go, but he shows respect to everyone, and gives it his all every time he fights. This is a great fighter that is an even better human being. And, I’m not a crazy, stalking, worshiping Manny Pacquiao fan that loves boxing and all the different characters in this great sport. I know I go overboard with stuff that sometimes makes me laugh and say to myself “Yeah, you’re going lock you up.” I have a great time though. Gentlemen, have a great day as today is also my Birthday, and my celebration has begun. Tomorrow Manny Pacquiao will give me a great Birthday present with a glorious and stunning finish.

big moe

This fight will be lucky to hit 900,000 buys. If that. The basketball game had no effect on anything. As the writer stated, bradley isnt that big of a draw.Good fighter, but not a huge draw

Posted April 11, 2014 12:30 pm

“But due to the lack of an undercard, will be the reason this fight doesn’t do well. We can all thank Bob Arum for that. ”

LOL @ Kato3388. Tell us wise one, what would be a better undercard for Pac/Bradley II? Name the fighters you think would make a better undercard and tell us why. BTW, make sure they are championship fights like the present undercard fights are.

Posted April 11, 2014 12:27 pm

Liked Manny since the early 2000’s too. He made a big statement in the Ledwaba fight. He fights all over the globe, took on the best Hispanic fighters in the lower weights, gives good entertainment and really, I gotta admire a champ like that.

Posted April 11, 2014 12:23 pm

@TOMATO CAN – it’s called loyalty. I’m tired of all these fair-weather fans, who only jump on the band wagon during the good times.

I too am a loyal Pacquiao fan. Have been since the Ledwaba fight. I saw something in Manny that piqued my interest and I’ve got to say, he’s one of the most exciting fighters in the world today.

Posted April 11, 2014 11:47 am

I hardly ever agree with Te Dumbo… but he’s right. This won’t even come close to 1 Million PPV buys. 500,000 – 750,000 will be reasonable. But due to the lack of an undercard, will be the reason this fight doesn’t do well. We can all thank Bob Arum for that.

Out with the ‘ancient’ blood and in with the new.

True if Hecdog is genuine, he/she is the biggest fan of any particular fighter that this site has ever seen. However, I’m not so sure that’s a good thing.

From what I have read ticket sells are lousy and normally fighters that pull in lots of PPVs also pull a lot of comments in. That’s not happening, at least not on this site

100k is a low estimate. 500k is about right. Pacquiao* couldn’t crack that number for his comeback bout v. Rios who actually has a fanbase due to his notoriety. it’s gonna be tougher to reach v. Bradley who should but doesn’t necessarily have a huge and loyal fanbase but maybe it’s time for the westside to rally around a native son. if that happens, 500k is possible. 1 million isn’t going to happen for this weak card and business-related headliner and let’s be clear: this is unfinished business in lieu of a truly compelling and eagerly-anticipated matchup. after all, not even Pacquiao* thought it was necessary until a few months ago.

1.2 million will be good, judging by the amount of traffic on this site leading up to the fight, it looks as though there will be much less than that.

Alot of hype on this fight, Interestingly no one is picking the next opponent for each fighter if they win, WIll Packman want to fight Mayweather OR would Bradley want to to fight Mayweather … I’ve never heard Bradley talk about wanting to take on Mayweather … so. who’s next for each opponent if they win ?? .. …”The Language fo the Ring “

Make fun of me & tell me how wrong i was AFTER the fight…After all, how crazy it is to think that Tim could possibly stop Pac? & that’s exactly what i’ve being saying for months now:Bradley is stopping a compromised Pac, now, let me eat crow but stop that silly cloning…

Posted April 11, 2014 3:43 am

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing)

Cut the price in half and they would triple or quadruple the number of PPV buys. And ultimately HBO and everyone involved would make A LOT more money. It’s simple math, not rocket science. But unfortunately, endless greed often prevents powerful men from making wise business decisions.

Posted April 11, 2014 3:36 am

why is it about my prediction that bothers this clone? maybe it’s my insistence? but you’d think I have the right to my opinion & I’m giving my prediction of a boxing fight on a boxing forum…I have given my reasons why I think Bradley will stop Manny & I believe those reasons; everybody thinks they make no sense & most people don’t even take me seriously…hard to understand why is this clone posting the opposite when the opposite result is what most people expect. If.If you don’t like what I say, let me eat crow galore after the fight…why not? after all, who believe-other than me-that Tim will KO Pac???

Who cares if its 1K or 1M, but i assure you this will be exciting and action packed compared to Chicken floyds boring fights.

1.2 million is a low estimate. Manny Pacquiao is without a doubt the biggest, most popular athlete in the entire world. The man creates news where ever he goes. He is the biggest draw ever. Add millions more to the PPV numbers because millions do not purchase the fight, but still love Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquaio is the most loved athlete in the sports world. He is th eONLY 8 division boxing champion in history. He is the most exciting and entertaining boxer in history. This fight is all about Manny Pacquiao. Timothy Bradley is who again??? He has no following. Manny is the draw and the appeal in this fight as he is in all fights. I am in Las Vegas and Manny Pacquiao has generated a type of electricity that can run every electrical piece of equipment in it. Manny Pacquiao takes the headache away from aspirin. Saturday night you will see what I have been clamoring about over the last year. The doubters and haters will be on their knees apologizing to Manny Pacquiao. The fighting Filipino is on a mission that will be conquered in stunning fashion. The wait is over. I’m cruising down the street in Manny Pacquiao attire, and all I see is Manny fans. It’s a sea of the proud Filipino people. Las Vegas has been taken over by “MANNY MANIA.” Forget what’s happening all over the world. Manny takes center stage like never before. Sin City has been cleansed by an angel. I will be at the weigh-in tomorrow, and that place is going to erupt with emotions and cheers of “Manny, Manny, Manny, Manny, Manny.” And I will be taking the lead. It’s an unbelievable feeling just being in a place where the greatest fighter of all time is going to make history. My emotions are running high with anticipation of the biggest fight in boxing history. I am at the casino right now and have put down a chunk of saved money on the knockout to come. I know there will be doubters, but trust me, Manny is punching as lethal as ever. Sparring partners have been sent to hospitals. Shot gun blasts have been heard coming from the gym only to see manny hitting those mitts. The power is there. The passion is there. The desire to take back his title and reclaim the title of P4P the greatest fighter today will be placed back onto Manny’s head. This is a legend that does the impossible. Don’t bet against him ever. Timothy Bradley is a sheep being led to the slaughter house, someone please tell him. Please have the hospitals and ambulances ready to go. This may end badly for him. Manny Pacquiao is a roaring lion ready to feast on his prey. Manny will win this fight by stunning and brutal fashion. The King is Back! The King is Back! Trust me on this. Manny Pacquiao will take the world by storm, the desert storm that is. Manny is the best!

Posted April 11, 2014 3:22 am

if my constant prediction of Tim by stoppage is so improbable & crazy, why is this clone so butt-hurt about it??? Nobody else believe for a second that Bradley has the power to stop anybody much less Manny, then why not let me eat crow after the fight? why is this clone trying to cause confusion? ESB has plenty stupid people that will believe I’m talking from both sides of my mouth…why is this guy so bothered by my crazy prediction????isn’t it easier to wait after Saturday & prove me wrong? after all, Tim doesn’t have the power to stop anybody, does he???? Tim by stoppage.

Peej, if this is the real Peej–Ticket sales for the live event have been great. As of this evening only a few hundred tickets were left at the MGM Grand Arena. If you don’t believe me, get on the MGM Grand website and see for yourself. They have a seating chart which shows all the sold and available seats left. Also, the MGM Grand ballroom closed circuit TV show of the fight is sold out. I think this is going to be a very good PPV event as well.
