If Frankie wants the likes of Khan and Maidana he will have to prove himself against some decent world-level opponents first. Maybe he should try to target Kell Brook first as Kell is still keen to fight below world-level.

He needs to fight a much better level of fighter before he starts talking about those guys for me as so far all he has beat are domestic level, he hasnt even fought anyone at fringe world level never mind Khan and Maidanas level and if i were Frankie i would be phoning Eddie Hearn as he is not going to get the fights he wants with Warren and Boxnation.

Yeah, Maidana-Khan II would be a good bout in the light of Marcos beating Broner. Floyd-Khan will probably happen instead though.

I would like to see Maidana vs Khan rematch, I think Maidana could
avenge his loss. But Khan fights in 140 so probably it wont happen

I like the way Gavin throws that whipping left to the body from the southpaw stance, he delivers it really nicely and it seems to bemuse his opponents so they dont know how to defend from it. Ive tried throwing the same punch with my right hand from my orthodox stance and It doesn’t work for me

After the vassel fight it was a dull one against Barnes which ties in with what I was saying about him fighting better against better fighters. Sometimes I feel he lowers himself to weaker opponents standards and just eaks passed them. Unfortunately certain people will keep him on the WBO route

Gavin does run hot and cold…with better fighters he preforms better against.Gavin does have tons of talent as a boxer..very slick.Yes he lacks some power, but can make up for it with workrate and ring skills.Good Luck Gavin as your career starts to open up…

Frankie was impressive against vassell but since then theres been nothing to say he can mix it with the likes of khan etc

Lol he destroyed Denton Vassels jaw. Vassel has never tasted canvas as an amateur or pro. Gavin dominated him, broke his jaw, and made him quit. Saunders I agree will fall short as doon ss he steps up

Die Siener

Frankie is hardly world level at pro. Why would any promoter pay for Frankie to clutch and grab Khan or MM. He and his mate BJ Saunders have zero pop in their punches and are strictly European level at best.

Frankies career seems to be identical to that of a young Joe Calzaghe. I think it will pan out the same too. The better the oponent the better Gavin performes, and the way he dealt with power house Denton Vassel was very impressive indeed

Wouldn’t say Kell brook is a c rated fighter at all just he is in a division with a wealth of talent it will be hard to get him a title shot let alone win won. Frankie Gavin is a c rated fighter and that’s being generous well it is Christmas

put him in with that other c level fighter kell brookbond.

Is this a joke? Frankie Gavin is not even a house hold name in England so how would this be a blockbuster. Maidana would knock him out cold in 2 rounds. He is better of going for European belt or which he could win or target Kell brook ( who will school Gavin) . As much as I like box nation and what there doing Frankie Gavin must be a fighter Im not botherd about
