…. “We treat boxers as if they are our children” … That’s right.. That’s how biased some of these decisions are, as if their dad’s were scoring the fights.

I must correct myself after having said some bad things about the WBC in the past. I think Jose Sulaiman is a decent and honest man who speaks the truth. Although I had disagreed with the suspension of my friend David Haye he did the right thing and it takes a strong man to do that. I believe what he says in the letter is true and I would probably caution the commissions to do the right thing because it them who judge the fights and not the WBC. The WBC is still technically a private enterprise and a lot more fair in what they do than the commissions are. Commissioners are appointed politically and paid by promoters. I believe if the WBC took a stand like this it is a step further for the sport in the right direction. They do the best they can and I believe the WBC is fair and doe a great job. Every time I have called or emailed them, even as recently as last month, Mr. Sulaiman has responed faster than anybody else. I wish the WBC continues to move in the right direction and unlike our own Governing Body in the US at least the President or at least the President comes out with a newsletter and speaks his mind in an attempt to better the sport. Big thumbs Up for WBC and Sulaiman’s. :!:

It’s time for the WBC to go the way of the typewriter, is this a new trend, honest judges. Jose said “we treat boxers as if they are our children” that’s the problem, they are grown men in a dangerous sport, who don’t need a corporate mafioso.

How is the WBC world champ exclusive to there agency when they have so many WBC champs in one weight class. The WBC sucks and Suliman is a liar. He acts like he didn’t just give his belt away to certain mexican fighters. This dude is straight garbage

The Nevada athletic commission is more interested than the WBC at least in the appearance of fair judging for one very simple reason: gambling. If gamblers can’t trust judging to the point they stop betting Las Vegas stands to lose millions, so they need to at the minimum pretend that they care about the issue and appoint one “impartial” judge, never mind that a majority can still get a fix on.
