YES. That can happen when you Fight with an injury. You LOSE to guys you would usually beat. Thats why guys pull out of Fights IF they’re injured.

This strong kid Murray actually bested Sergio Martinez… He knocked him down twice and hurt him a few times… In England he would have taken the middleweight title… If Canelo can’t get a Mayweather fight, his promoters should put an attractive offer for Martinez to show up at the Alamodome.. It would be a great PPV event all over Latin America and in the US where there’s 50 million Latinos.. At 38 Sergio is on the slide. Some challenger is going to get his title in the next year to 18 months. Canelo has to be asking, “Why not me?” His bigger and stronger than Sergio and Murray gave us an insight as to what that means.

Quinlin, Rosado, Lara or GGG vs Canelo is all that needs to happen… lets see if Canelo can grow a pair of Whebohs…aka balls..

Brandon Rios vs Danny Garcia would be the one I want to see first.. PR VS MEX as we all know light up these Boards and both guys would make a load of Money. Their Styles would lead to a great fight. Rios should avoid another Alvarado match.. their styles are terrible for each other.. they take way too much damage.. Alvarado vs Peterson would be a good one as well and Khan vs Matyssee to finally put Khan to rest… and send on his way…..

Awesome fight zab was clearly focused and gracias right hand was well versed and educated in its delivery he threw short straight and looping rights at differing speeds I was also impressed with his chin. Being part Cuban I also enjoyed Q’s performance

Posted April 29, 2013 11:59 am

Damn Zab! Its official! You are now just a gate keeper at 140

Posted April 29, 2013 11:48 am

How is Garcia “a real good boxer” he is MORE slugger than he is boxer. Like I said he got caught up exchanging with OLD Morales first fight, had to slug with Judah eventually taking some good shots, and was getting tagged by the faster Khan before he caught him in an exchange… Danny has a good chin, but his boxing skills are a cut above average… Alvarado and Rios and unusually brutal and trust me Garcia will end up mixing it up with both guys to unknown results….Judah was a good test that Garcia did not exactly pass with flying colors Zab is a serial loser yet Garcia could not deter him down the stretch and got his bell rung…. I like Danny but I see clear avenues for him to lose against relentless guys like Alvarado and Rios who you almost have to shoot in order to slow down… Old Morales and Judah don’t approximate those younger fighters tenacity…

Posted April 29, 2013 9:19 am

Mattheysee is a HARD hitter but hes not gonna knock Peterson out… This is going to be a close fight than anticipated and both guys are gonna hear the final bell…

Posted April 29, 2013 9:15 am

GOOD call TARK. I predicted that on the DAY that the Fight was announced SO you’re pretty SHARP.

Posted April 29, 2013 12:52 am

I see Matthysse beating Peterson half to death and stopping him.. He’s a good boxer and puncher… Peterson is a real good brawler, but he absorbs a lot of incoming.. If not for the point deductions Khan would have beaten Peterson… How often do you see fighters point deducted for pushing in a professional fight?

Posted April 29, 2013 12:35 am

The Mad Scientist

I would love to see fights between all the top dogs at 140..I would slightly favor Peterson to be a step ahead from the rest but I can easily see a scenario where styles make fights and all boxers involve would trade wins and losses.

Posted April 29, 2013 12:11 am

Why wouldn’t Garcia fight Rios or Alvarado??? They don’t look particularly tough to beat… Breidis Prescott was beating the crap out of Alvarado before a desperate Alvarado came back and knocked him out… They look vulnerable… both of them… They are tough and rugged like the guy who fought Martinez yesterday, but that doesn’t earn you points… They haven’t met a real good boxer yet… Garcia isn’t a master boxer as of yet — but he is a real good, smart boxer, the caliber they haven’t fought yet… Prescott was finding Alvarado like crazy and he just isn’t a top caliber thinker or boxer.

Posted April 28, 2013 11:42 pm

Its UP to the networks to demand Fights between promoters because they write the checks….or the consumers must demand it from the networks. IF not then Top Rank has no incentive to DO business with Golden Boy because they make MORE on their own.

Posted April 28, 2013 11:41 pm

Morales is a TERRIBLE proxy for how Garcia would fare against ANYONE except another spent foce like Morales… Rios and Alvarado are different beasts and Danny is more puncher than he is technical boxer, he can be hit and likes to exchange… Those guys could be ALL wrong for him… As for Judah, we know he is a LOSER well on his way towards double digit losses on his resume… Zabs happy to finish or give a decent showing these days, boys a gatekeeper…

Posted April 28, 2013 11:14 pm

Tark, you must think we are stupid Danny did not have his counterpunching skills challenged very much by OLD slow Morales who was DONE as a boxer… Garcias a young gun, he spun Morales around and did his job but this is a TERRIBLE proxy for how he would do against Rios or Alvarado and I am NOT convinced he would not be drawn into a slugging match with either guy… For the most part Garcias power has been bailing him out and as for facing both Alvarado and Rios Jay, who KNOWS how that goes should he face one of them its to be respected….

Posted April 28, 2013 11:11 pm

Yeah but we will never find out if Garcia will beat both Rios or Alvarado Because Garcia will NEVER fight them.

Posted April 28, 2013 11:06 pm

Good job Danny, got taken deep by a wise old soldier and there’s no harm in that.

But you’re the champ and you came through a great fight.

Respect to Zab for showing up and adjusting like the pro we all know he can be.

Was a great fight by two warriors that dug deep and gave the fans a great fight.

Respect to both teams!

Posted April 28, 2013 10:51 pm

Judah is a real good boxer who lacks discipline, and usually isn’t in cardio shape to go 12 hard rounds… Last night he was… Garcia is still fairly green and Judah took away his jab and left hook, like many a masterful southpaw will do to a green kid who hasn’t faced a great southpaw… The deal is Danny adjusted and threw a ton of right handers… He got so far ahead that by the time Judah adjusted to Danny’s hand speed and double right hands, there wasn’t time left in the fight to come back.

Danny congradulated Judah immediately because the man fought a tremendous fight… Probably the best of his life… I saw the great condition Judah was in at the weigh-in… He was a serious man, even after he was floored and beaten down… I’ve never seen this kind of resolve from him — but I credit Angel Garcia with a big part of that.

Posted April 28, 2013 10:46 pm

Yup. That was Zab Judah’s PEAK Fight. WHO has ever seen Zab finish STRONG in a 12 rd Fight??? IF he would have WON people would be accusing him of PED’s….But when you LOSE no one cares about that.

Erik Morales also tested positive for banned substances for the rematch with Danny Garcia… I guess he felt a little tijuana Cheating was in order to try and beat the Boriqua…

How many fights and how many rounds did Garcia have for the first Morales fight??? Of course he had trouble… But he ran over Morales in their rematch… This kid learns… Erik Morales had a prayer in HELL… Even though he was on PED’s for the fight.

Posted April 28, 2013 9:11 pm

I never said Garcia was a master boxer Sredmond… Only an idiot like you would put words in people’s mouths continuously. I said he’s a better boxer than Rios — or Alvarado. That’s as far as I went with it. He certainly showed great counterpunching skills against Morales, who fared very well against Marcos Maidana, a Rios type slugger. A lot of people think Maidana beat Khan.

Posted April 28, 2013 9:05 pm

Hi Ted…

Wait until those fights happen to tell me that.. Those guys are very easy to hit and Danny isn’t easy to hit.. They don’t box as well or punch as hard as Danny, and they’re not southpaws.. That’s a style Danny still has massive problems with.. They’re really tough but so is Danny.. Styles make fights.

This is the best effort I’ve ever seen out of Zab Judah. I give him a ton of credit rather than taking it from Danny — who beat him handily and unanimously.

Posted April 28, 2013 9:00 pm

Garcia is NOT some sort of master boxer only a NUT like Tark would believe that… He had to slug it out with a washed Morales first fight, had to slug it out with a badly flawed fighter and approaching double digit loser like Judah, and was getting touched by Khan before he got his mitts on Khans dented chin…. I like Danny but Rios and Alvarado are tougher and harder than anyone he has EVER faced and they are NOT old men like Judah and Morales…. Those would be interesting fights as would Mattheysee who has hammers in his gloves also….

Posted April 28, 2013 8:54 pm

Danny Garcia would out-box Rios or Alvarado. Tark, give me a break. Danny hangs on to beat a badlt diminshed Zab, but he beats monsters like Rios and Alvarado. Spurious logic in that.

Tark, if you want to discuss Arreolas condition against Stiverne then you have to note how sloppy and overweight he was facing Vitali Klits… Thats Arreola but he somehow knocked out 30 non World Class Boxers of Stivernes variety or some approximation… Stiverne was not complying and put the spank on him for that he deserves kudos… NO ONE is calling him the next HW Champion

Posted April 28, 2013 7:26 pm

PE there is no hyping this Garcia was facing Judah who is a gatekeeper at this point plain and simple and despite early success its unsettling that Judah won the LATER rounds where he is KNOWN for his capitulation and fading… Even Garcia noted that Judah rang his bell… The kid got the win and it was a good learning experience but Amir Khan and Clottey made LIGHT work of Judah….

Posted April 28, 2013 7:24 pm

Stiverne was impressive because he is NOT that Big of a deal himself to be honest.. It was expected that Arreola would be enough to take the win and he did NOT have what it took… Stiverne took his best, put him on his seat and beat him up pretty well showing a body attack which is something at HW not even the Klitschkos employ….

Posted April 28, 2013 7:22 pm

Of course if you land a KO shot like Tszyu did, the fight’s over… Good luck with that when you’re facing a great boxer… If you have 50 fights you might land 3 punches like that in your whole career.

Posted April 28, 2013 7:10 pm

The southpaw style gives Danny fits—just like Rigondeaux gave Donaire fits. Judah took Danny’s jab AND left hook away.. Fighting a fight without your jab—just because you’re facing a great southpaw—is ridiculous. Danny has to hone and weaponize the jab until he can drill anyone with it.

Garcia needs to turn the left shoulder in a little more versus a southpaw to get better range on the jab.. His feints have to be more subtle. The jab has to be sharp, smooth, and flicked with lightning speed. Southpaws can screw up your footwork, which has to be faster, smoother, and more precise than Danny’s was. The best jab is the most effortless jab because you can’t read it. The jab is timing, technique, and form—not effort or force.

The left hook has to be adjusted versus a southpaw. You shorten it up, and don’t turn it over. Throw a long flurry of left and right chin high hooks at a speed bag, double-end bag, or a heavy bag. You’ll find you that you can throw them faster and harder if you don’t turn them over—and keep your palms facing your diaphragm. Versus a great southpaw you need very excellent footwork to zip in faster and retreat faster. You have to move your left clavicle forward and turn your left shoulder in—without angling your torso too much so you can still rip a straight right. Jab a lot. If you can land a good solid jab on a southpaw you can follow it up with a quick left hook and then the right. When Mayweather finally established his jab he worked this combination beautifully on Zab. Although, slinging 15 rights in a row worked for Danny for 9 rounds. It wouldn’t work if they fought again.

Posted April 28, 2013 7:04 pm

Sredmond….,, Stiverne was not impressive.. He beat a chump fighter.. Arreola is going downhill rapidly. He was in the worrst condition I’ve ever seen him. Flabby and soft as a pillow.

And Danny Garcia would out-box Rios or Alvarado. They’re great fighters but they’re not great boxers. They’re not as fast, don’t defend as well, and don’t punch as hard as Garcia. Matthysse has improved in the last year. He will be a problem for Danny to get past right now.

Garcia is a very good athlete! A very good boxer! I admired the variety of shots he was throwing at Zab. It was also amazing how Zab ducked the big hook shots that Garcia used to try to take his head off! Garcia is the “Real Deal,” I really didnt expect the variety he implemented. His class after the bout was also on point, gracious towards Zab twice in the ring as they embraced. Dannys pops is the rude one, with the condescending tone; I guess his father is his alter ego. PROPS to Danny for a well orchestrated variety filled offence…..classy dude!

Zab impressed, I truly thought he would fold…but he hung in there and not only did he see the championship rounds, I felt he won them, he had Danny HURT!! Had he started letting that right hook go earlier, he may have stopped Danny. Good scrap!!!

Posted April 28, 2013 2:59 pm

Danny Garcia is a solid developing fighter hitting his stride. Judah is a fighter that has very good quality skills, but if you pressure him for 12 rounds and not let him get any confidence, he is mentally weak. Garcia let him gain some confidence by backing up and letting Judah come forward. He caught him with a few punches and Judah built some inner strength. Garcia is going to get better. He has been beating a lot of guys that have experience, and even though they’re not in their prime, the experience Garcia is gaining is invaluable. His father of course gives his son a bad name because Danny seems like a quality person. His father seems to be a frustrated wannabe fighter that’s living through his son, and of course he overreacts to everything. I know he loves Danny a lot, but let Danny be himself. People will begin to associate his father’s ignorant acts with Danny, and that’s not right. I’ll have to say that right now, I
would take Danny Garcia against anyone in his division. Don’t bet against this kid, he can fight.

“when you try to put him down with your coward assessment of the fight…FU” WTF largo? Are you in love with Danny Garcia? How does cowardice come into an assessment of a fight? I didn’t just watch the fight, I scored it, like I do all fights that I watch. I gave Danny the win. What is your problem?

Posted April 28, 2013 1:32 pm

“to post just to take away from the rightful winner is the thing of cowards & losers…& you, in my book, are both…” LMAO! Geezuz, largo, what happened last night? Did your mommy put you in a corner for being a bad boy? If you kept up with the threads on ESB you’d have seen that I predicted Garcia by stoppage–a long time ago. I said Judah had no chance and that Danny was going to pummel him. Really, just because I said Judah was tagging Danny for three rounds with his left doesn’t mean I hate anyone. I was just reiterating reality.

Posted April 28, 2013 1:29 pm

“Hidalgo, you’re a hater & a moron, in my book. As far as i’m concerned, Danny beat the best Judah in years & i give’im full credit for it.” I guess that’s a compliment coming from an idiot like you, largo. I love Danny Garcia. I picked him to beat Judah by stoppage–that didn’t happen, although I was expecting it to happen around the fourth round like Garcia himself predicted. Danny literally “survived” the last the rounds as Judah was putting a serious left-to-the-chin whupping on him–and Danny knows it! But Judah came on much too little, too late. I scored it a clear win for Garcia, but damn if Judah didn’t fight his heart out. For once–in the last several years. But like I said, Danny, when fatigued and injured–Judah had his head buzzing for quite a while–is very vulnerable to a left hook. Or a straight left for that matter. It was a great fight. Now, get over yourself. :)

Mayweather86, nope Martinez was the least impressive winner last night. I should restate that Garcia was impressive early. He beat Judah to the punch, kept Judah off of him with strait rights, right hooks and good foot work. That being said, Garcia would have a tuffer time with Peterson, Matthessyee, Bradley, and Provodnikov. But Garcia would be a worthy opponent in all the those fights. Would I pick him to win against all those guys, probably not. But Garcia appears to be getting better, and looked very good through the first 9 rounds last night, to me.

Lol never gonna happen bud. And sorry tomato Garcia was maybe the least impressive winner of the night. Kinda let Judah back into it late. His jab is so-so, defense very lax. Having seen what Peterson is capable off as well as rios, alvarado and mathesse. And if Broner does indeed drop down to 140 after the paulie fight then Garcia should hide. The “new generation” lol ok showtime. While that may be true…Garcia’s peers if u will appear to be far more talented. I mean if u thought that was an impressive showing, u probably also were praising tripleG for beating up on junior middleweights lol.

6. Judah
Does anyone think thats about right?

We saw Zab thats mentally there now. But 15 years to late. I like Garcia a lot, but I was hoping Zab would explode with a eight punch Combo like he was 22 years old. Over all I felt Zab was still the faster boxer at age 35. But gave to much respect early.

I was impressed by Garcia. He was able to cut the ring off, and kept the fight at his pace. Judah didn’t melt down even though he was taking punishment, and came on strong late, which isn’t something he’s really known for. In anycase, the Garcia is part of the new generation in boxing, and Judah is part of the old generation, and on his way out. I think Garcia can hang with anyone at 140, but Judah did show that Garcia can be hurt.

Well all in all a good night of fights, some passing thoughts. Martin Murray…very humble despite the fact he should’ve gotten the nod. Chris A. Needs to retire already. Quillin looking better every fight probably the most entertaining fight of the night. Judah actually showed up for a full 12 rounds and gave Garcia somewhat of a challenge. Peterson or mathesse will crush Garcia imo. Just not skilled enough. And finally please stop with the amir Khan bs seriously he’s such a hypejob its pathetic. The only thing he’s champion of is falling down

I think Rios and Amverado would have trouble with Garcia. Amverado would have to box more and Rios well it would be a war. I think Garcia may have to much power for them. Problem is they are with Arum so that fight is not happening

You’re crazy, I was pulling for Garcia but Judah showed us some of his liabilities we knew he was NOT a master boxer but he had to fight HARD to get past Judah and that was not Garcias best fight by a LONG shot…Garcia had Judah hurt and he could not finish him off those are the facts no need to make excuses or speculate…

Garcia won and it was a DAMN good test for a young fighter… He has some things to work on because that right hand was too damn slow and there to be countered… Had Judah brought the same committment earlier in the bout we could have been looking at a different result… But the reality is that Zab is a stepping stone and has been for quite awhile, he is pleased with a solid effort in Championship fights as opposed to winning and despite still have fast hands and very good skills he is mentally overtaken by those who still have dreams of being a star… Again Garcia had better tighten it…. Good fight!

Posted April 28, 2013 5:19 am

Garcia won solidly—but did so by flinging right after right after right… His jab was useless. His left his hook was only 30% effective. This happens when a masterful southpaw faces a kid who hasn’t met good southpaws. He takes away your stance.. your jab.. your left hook.. and your footwork. You start stepping in with your rear foot first—like you have 2 left feet. You need a trainer who’s extremely versed in the southpaw style and adjusts your footwork and stance so you can jab and hook the crap out the slickest southpaw. It’s NOT keeping your left foot outside his right foot. It’s a hundred times more complicated—things Angel Garcia can’t teach you.

Mayweather had big problems for 3 rounds against Judah—but not because he had technical problems. He had to adjust to Zab’s speed. Danny needs to study the Mayweather-Judah fight from the 4th round on. After Floyd made adjustments he started jabbing and hooking the Hell out of Zab.. It’s amazing Garcia did so well with 70% of his game tossed out the window—but Judah adjusted to Danny’s speed. He was coming on in the 10th, 11th, and 12th. That’s why it’s important for Danny to learn this stuff.

Big Ham

Judah needs to fight in aggressive Ko oriented bursts, then lay back paw with his jab and recharge then attack again with viciousness and repeat that over and over within the limits of his stamina. Somewhere along the line he got an identify that he is a slick accurate boxer. He does not score “points” and win rounds. His jab is a paw and not a stick. His fights would go much easier on him if he would at least with 20 punches a round use every ounce of his energy to try to take the guys head off. That is what he is good at.

i know you wrote : good win for Danny” but that’s meaningless when you try to put him down with your coward assessment of the fight…FU

Posted April 28, 2013 2:59 am

to post just to take away from the rightful winner is the thing of cowards & losers…& you, in my book, are both…

Posted April 28, 2013 2:45 am

Hidalgo, did Garcia win or not? in your opinion, Zab was robbed or he lost to a guy that he tagged so many times that you lost count? did you watch the fight or not? if Danny is such a lousy defender, how could he possibly win after getting tagged so many times? what’s your problem? can you give credit to the winner or not?

Posted April 28, 2013 2:38 am

Garcia won 8 rounds to 4. He had trouble with the southpaw style especially when Judah threw more than one punch at a time. He should have pressed the action all 12 rounds, but he got caught and was hesitant. Judah will believe he can win a fight when h gets you backing up, but he’s the same guy as always. Good, but nothing special. His heart isn’t enough to beat any top guy. Judah along with Malignaggi fight with heart and take punches, but both are lucky to have ever won any kind of title. Both will never enter the BHOF. They are good to watch because you know they will take serious beatings, but never good enough to be elite. Qillin is something else. he can punch , box and fight you. Look for this guy to be a great one.

Posted April 28, 2013 2:22 am

Hidalgo writes :”I lost count of how many times Judah tagged Danny’s chin with a left hook. Danny’s got some serious weaknesses in his defense” if that’s the case, how come Zab didn’t take’im out, Judah being a power-puncher tagging that chin so many times? shouldn’t Danny be given credit for being tagged so many times & still win? why didn’t Zab win, if he tagged Danny so many times? Hidalgo, you’re a hater & a moron, in my book. As far as i’m concerned, Danny beat the best Judah in years & i give’im full credit for it.

Posted April 28, 2013 2:22 am

Garcia broke down Judah, he went to the body and when judah covered up moved the attack to the head. Waiting to crash his devastating left hook while Throwing a mix of crosses and wide shots.Judah came on late but Garcia showed again that his has much more skill than people give him credit for.

“a younger Judah was KO’d…you forgot that?”
@largo, Do you compare the “limited” Danny Garcia to the great Kostya Tszyu???

Kudos Zab! heart of a champ, Brooklyn is proud of you

and F% the big mouths haters

Zab can never be a number 1. He comes up short everytime

retire Zab JEWduh you always sucked !

Posted April 28, 2013 1:42 am

I lost count of how many times Judah tagged Danny’s chin with a left hook. Danny’s got some serious weaknesses in his defense. Judah was all over him in the last three rounds of the fight. Still, good win by Danny. Very nice fight by Quillin as well. His fundamentals are so good. He’s a classic boxer with great technique and timing. He gets better with every fight.

Good fight

Posted April 28, 2013 12:33 am

Kinda disappointed, I was expecting more from the great Garcia. He wishes Lucas M loses and will look for another past his prime fighter. Congrats

All quiet on the Western front.

Shadow Brawler

Much respect to Garcia! He fought a strong fight although I thought Judah would pull the the rabbit out the hat… He made me a believer! Judah represented Brooklyn and still gets his props.. Had Garcia by 8 points..

Posted April 28, 2013 12:10 am

Would like to see Garcia against the winner of Peterson-Matthysse next, for all the marbles in Golden Boy’s side of junior welter.

Posted April 28, 2013 12:08 am

Murray won as well, he will get a return v Martinez and get paid, MUrray will be minted, Murray mint.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:59 pm

Khan is a shoe in for the hall of fame, and he is still only 24, lots of classic fights in the future, go Khan.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:55 pm

props to Garcia, he fought untill the last second when most fighters when they know theyre ahead on points run like chickens

Posted April 27, 2013 11:46 pm

Judah lost but he proved him self ii wish him the best if this fight went 15 i would pick zab zab still is a threat this lost puts him in the hof even though it sounds crazy

Posted April 27, 2013 11:46 pm

I took Garcia on the DAY that the Fight was announced and I never changed MY pick DUMB DUMB….. MY Name Groupie picked Judah and exposed YOUR pebble BRAIN….I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!!

Posted April 27, 2013 11:38 pm

Red ryan, you can’t lose the first 8-9 rounds and also get knocked down and then expect to win by taking the last and only 3 rounds of the fight!!……

Posted April 27, 2013 11:37 pm

Is not rare that an idiot like public enemy could tell that Judah is p4p fighter. hahahahaha

Posted April 27, 2013 11:35 pm

Good fight, I thought some furniture was going to get re arranged, no chair throwing.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:32 pm

Red Ryan

I thought Judah won..

Posted April 27, 2013 11:31 pm

Yes, garcia beat khan and khan is a young fighter and a young nobody who almost loss today against another nobody julio diaz who just to gwt something new put khan on the canvas.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:30 pm

The prince forgot that Zab could never fulfill his potential because he lost the key fights when he was YOUNGER , so to try to take away from Garcia is just plain cowardly…Garcia beat the best Judah in years. Give this kid his props.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:29 pm

Judah fought well enough to get a fight with and LOSE to another Champion or top fighter… Zab no longer fights to win at the top levels, his comfort with losses is sad… He tried in the latter rounds but losing is in his DNA now… Whats that loss #8??? He is a good stepping stone fighter and brings some things to the table but Judah cannot be taken seriously at the highest levels…

Posted April 27, 2013 11:28 pm

Garcia is so underrated, just saying. Instead of “Swift” ..a name that fits him better is “Cyborg” …he fits like a machine, but more stealthy… like a cyborg. I’ve been impressed with the guy.

Boxtra, calling Judah, just like all your pics was easy business. But you are a delusional ass for not saying you picked Garcia by stoppage. That’s shoud have been your concrete pick, which really means you were wrong again, and not any better than anyone, on this site picking fights.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:26 pm

judah won. go back to the first four rounds and the last four

Posted April 27, 2013 11:24 pm

Garcia WINS just as I predicted!!! I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!

Fighting older experianced fighters is great learning experiance for younger fighters. It shouldn’t be taken lightly. Garcia beat a young fighter in khan, and I would give him a good shot against any other 140 pounders. He’s not perfect, can be caught, and may get knocked out at some point, but he’s a fun fighter to watch. I just wish he would remove his father from the pre-fight scene.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:20 pm

by the way what a “wonderful” technique of garcia, a lot of skills…..

Posted April 27, 2013 11:19 pm

fighting morales and judah, the prime time of both was 10 YEARS AGO.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:17 pm

Tomato Can

He made Judah hurt early. If he hadn’t done that, he could have got blasted out of there. He earned Zabs respect. On the same token, I give props to Zab for hanging in there, and trying to turn the fight around. That’s something he isn’t known for. At the end of the night I leave by thinking Garcia is a tough fight for any 140 pounder, and Khan better never fight him again…

Posted April 27, 2013 11:16 pm

No no no a younger Judah was not ko’d. He took a legit tmo from cotto but no one should count that tmo from kozta because everyone knows that fight was stopped way prematurely. Plenty of fighters have fell twice from one knockdown and the fight was allowed to continue. Jay Nady sucks lol

Posted April 27, 2013 11:16 pm

So, that idiot is the puerto rican boxing hope??

Posted April 27, 2013 11:15 pm

Kudos to Garcia, he beat the best Judah in years…

Danny looked gone ! great fight …

I was impressed by Garcia. He’s been put in some good Career building fights. It wasn’t easy tonight, but he fought real tough early.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:12 pm

The prince, that’s very speculative of yours, a younger Judah was KO’d…you forgot that?

Posted April 27, 2013 11:11 pm

The Prince

Judah’s age saved Garcia. A younger Judah would’ve KO’d him. Still, good win for him. He still done enough to take the decision.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:07 pm

Tomato Can

nice fight, Garcia 115-112.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:06 pm

ok, I wont call Judah a front runner any longer. He’s been out gunned, but has’t melted down yet..

Posted April 27, 2013 11:03 pm

The Prince

Wow! If Judah was only younger. Garcia still needs some work in the Gym.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:02 pm

Judah is not going away. Good round 10.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:58 pm

Judah got that respect, anyway…

Posted April 27, 2013 10:57 pm

The Low Blow ! – You’re right. His style is a lot like him with the pop to match.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:55 pm

Good for Judah. He’s wants to survive the fight. But will he?

Posted April 27, 2013 10:53 pm

Posted April 27, 2013 10:40 pm

How predictable. I was hoping Judah would hold out for at least until the 10th round.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:39 pm

Zab is about gone!

Posted April 27, 2013 10:38 pm

Garcia in the 7th round around the 2minutes.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:36 pm

Garcia is starting to connect with hard shots…this is looking no good for Judah.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:35 pm

Prince…I’d say he was faster, but the skills part is a stretch.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:25 pm

The Prince

Mentally, Judah never had what it took to be great. He had all the physical skills, but not the boxing brain. If he did, he would’ve handed Mayweather his first loss when they fought. Because skill wise, he was superior to Mayweather. But Mayweather was smarter.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:23 pm

Zab lost the first round, which is unusual…not a good start for Judah.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:23 pm

Tomato Can

Probably about 5 rounds worth….

Posted April 27, 2013 10:18 pm

Judah spent tons of energy during the pre-fight hype, let’s see how much energy he has left…

Posted April 27, 2013 10:15 pm

yes, TC, i think you’re right.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:13 pm

Quillin WINS by stoppage just as I predicted!!!! I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born! !!!!

Posted April 27, 2013 10:13 pm

Tomato Can

I still think Judah was trying to by time on what he thought was going to be a low blow agaisnt Khan, though, dumb…

Posted April 27, 2013 10:12 pm

Tomato Can

largo that’s about it, but even Khan beat him within 5. He and Kosta are the only ones to do that, as far as I know.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:11 pm

Zab is the best 5 rounds fighter, in the whole history of boxing.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:09 pm

Tomato Can

Garcia has to be favored which is pretty sad. Cause Judah has the talent to outbox him and make him look bad. But as we know once the pressure gets on, Judah melts down. At 35, it’ll be difficult for him to change those deeply enbedded spots.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:06 pm

The Prince

Um… Garcia by early-to-mid Stoppage.

Posted April 27, 2013 10:00 pm
