Some really dumb comment on here….Floyd isn’t scared of PACMAN! How can you negoiate an even split when someone makes half of what you do? plus your undefeated? people please use your brains. Everyone knows Cotto was weight drained for the pacman fight thats y there isn’t a rematch because Cotto won’t do it again. If pac is such a wonderful fighter and a “fan favourite” he should be able to fight anyone and make loads of money. NUMBERS DON’T LIE!!!! Manny is Media made, if he is such a true champ, fight Canelo, Berto, Devon Alexander or better still Rematch Bradley. How people do you know fights the same guy 4 times :roll:Posted September 5, 2012 12:29 pm
FLOYD GOT A BUSTED NOSE AND SWOLLEN LIPS AND IF NOT OF THE JUDGES, WOULD LOST THE FIGHT AGAINST COTTO.
PACMAN SCHOOLED COTTO AND MADE COTTO RODE HIS BICYCLE FOR SURVIVAL AFTER HE TASTED MULTIPLE KNOCKDOWNS FROM PAC.
THIS COMPARISON MAKES FLOYD MORE SCARY OF THE PACMAN.
PAC=FLOYD WILL NEVER HAPPEN BECAUSE ONE ISSCARED OF THE OTHER.Posted September 5, 2012 4:09 am
70/30 is the best option but the bigger share will go the winner.
If Floyd, Jr. is really that confident he will beat PAC he will agree.
But if not, he sure is really SCARED of PAC.
Use your common sense and use it right.Posted September 5, 2012 4:03 am
“CALIBA” Just SHUT UP!!! You’re in no CALIBA (caliber) to make a comment. All of your comments are nothing but hatred towards Manny and you even compromise the truth by making yourself SOOOO BLIND… PATHETIC IMBECILE!!!Posted September 1, 2012 12:13 pm
You’re the one who needs to go even in a KINDERGARTEN LEVEL since you’re in no CALIBA (caliber) to make a COMMENT!!! PATHETIC IMBECILE!!!Posted September 1, 2012 12:07 pm
Pactards are in a frenzy!!! lmfao they know their Gods fake p4p run is coming to a complete stop. He lost his last two fights(1 officially & 1 unofficially). He is done. You guys should just kill yourselves now to save time. Your reason for living(Pac) will become even less significant after his next loss which is a definite possibility whether its Marquez or Bradley…Pacs done.Posted September 1, 2012 11:50 am
Pass english 101 then try again. Te bumbo. Your stupidity is that of legend…Posted September 1, 2012 11:39 am
Mayweather is still afraid of Pacquiao. He should have made this fight a year ago with the 2 men splitting $100M. What are they going to do now….?…… make the fight happen with Mayweather getting two-thirds of $50M? Hindsight has 20/20 vision and Mayweather knows he lost a bundle thinking he could wait forever. What is lost is gone forever and cannot be gotten back.Posted September 1, 2012 9:25 am
These two are just a waste of time already…. Neither Primadonna Pac nor Primadonna Floyd deserve ANY attention let alone $$$ for a fight. But, then again….the ‘fans’ aren’t exactly intelligent. :roll:Posted September 1, 2012 6:29 am
Pacq had already agreed to full random blood testing on the 8th July 2011………..You have to be disillusioned if you can announce Floyd had made only one demand……Posted September 1, 2012 4:53 am
Hmm, I don’t really buy into the thought pattern that Pac is aging (though Floyd on the other hand has looked to have slowed a bit in the footspeed department, but I don’t think it has harmed him overall in terms of being able to beat top competition), I just think people are working him out.
Pacquiao always looks good against guys that have a more straight-forward style and that’s what he’d fought for a long time there (with the exception of Clottey who just turtle-shelled it and De La Hoya who just stood there and asked to beaten up)… I’d even include Marquez in Pac-Marquez 1 and 2 as a straight forward fighter (even though he was still technically a counter-puncher). So the world got a false impression about him, and now think he’s fading coz he doesn’t blast every fighter out of the ring.
I’m pretty sure if Pac were to step in with someone like a Rios for example, he’d look back to his “young” self.Posted September 1, 2012 3:53 am
fight could of happened years ago in 2010 but Pac did not want to take the only thing Floyd asked for and that was random testing. Must say that is one of the worst decisions that has been made. Everything was already set with Pacs many demands and Floyds one demandPosted September 1, 2012 1:51 am
Of course! These statements can only be totally correct if it comes from a FLOYDIOTS & IMBECILES!!!Posted September 1, 2012 1:46 am
“forreal” Only a FLOYDIOTS & IMBECILES like you who would say something like that PERIOD!!!Posted September 1, 2012 1:42 am
…won’t happen…Manny Armstrong won’t take random blood samples to save his life,PERIOD!!Posted September 1, 2012 12:35 am
Mayweather is going to end up having his way with Pacquiao at the bargaining table.
“Actually, we don’t do the same type of numbers, so how can we split? We don’t draw the same type of money.” So what!!!!!! Make the fight, superman. You’re the greatest, remember? Who cares if Manny gets and equal split with you? You got the balls to fight him? Make him a deal he can’t refuse. Same thing goes for you Pacman….Frickin’ greedy little bastards. I’d get in the ring with either one of you just to see if you could handle my right cross. Pathetic entertainers. Circus acts.Posted August 31, 2012 11:17 pm
I just wanted to let you know that’s a bold face lie about Pacquiao being the bigger international draw thats miss information. I want to know where you getting your info from.Posted August 31, 2012 10:59 pm
Does not matter what his international numbers do, Floyd does not see any of that. Not sure Pac does either with Arum. But facts are facts and numbers don’t lie. Floyd pulls in the bigger numbers and dollars so there for he is going to demand more.Posted August 31, 2012 10:46 pm
PAC man is done I’n 1 2 fights Max. He doesn’t have any bargaining power I’n this matter, stop wasting our time. This fight won’t happen. PAC vs Marquez no. 11 or Morales no. 8 or a rematch with Clotty or the other and what I predict is another I’n house bullceap payday vs Khan. Another guy he no’s he can beat meanwhile Mayweather can have Alvarez or even Martinez….I no what I’d rather watchPosted August 31, 2012 10:24 pm
Both of these statements are totally correct..Posted August 31, 2012 9:52 pm
Soooo Floyd fighting Cotto at Jr middleweight (NO CATCHWEIGHT) is less competion than Pac fighting a small guy with zero power is less competion??That alone killed all credibility of your reply..Posted August 31, 2012 9:48 pm
People actually still want to see this fight?Posted August 31, 2012 9:32 pm
Mayweather made it clear before the Cotto fight: Manny Pacqaciao is his last opponent. If the fight doesn’t happen next year, both fighters will likely retire.Posted August 31, 2012 8:55 pm
Pacquiao is still the bigger international draw than Mayweather. Mayweather’s last fight card consisted of Cotto, Alvarez & Mosely. Who were on Pacquiao’s card? Play it real folks. If you’re stupid, it doesn’t mean other people are. Nevertheless, I still do NOT believe Floyd ever wants to get in a ring with Pacquiao. I guarantee you Floyd will now want a 70-30 split and a 150+ weigh-in. Floyd’s a smart-ass, not a fighting man.Posted August 31, 2012 8:31 pm
I really am sick to death about Bradley ‘winning’. He still is not a household name, nor will he ever be. Why? Because he didn’t win. Nobody has any interest in him. With Pac’s refusal to fight again confused me as I thought it was inside job. But now I see that there is simply no point. Jesus, when you’re warned beforehand about the credibility about judges, surely the most ignorant must wake up. Doesn’t matter though, there is so little interest in this fight, its almost dormant. Retire Floyd with your ‘0’, and sure it doesn’t matter anyhow, Pac is done. Thanks guys. No courageous throwbacks, but at least you entertained every now and again. Goodbye.Posted August 31, 2012 8:15 pm
100% Agree that you guys are totally blind and IMBECILES!!! (B RED & CALIBA)Posted August 31, 2012 8:03 pm
FACT: The WBO reviewed the fight and Manny won.
You too just stop for you’re in no CALIBA (caliber) to make a comment!!! LMAO!Posted August 31, 2012 7:56 pm
I can actually see the fight happening now.Posted August 31, 2012 7:36 pm
1) Mayweather has no legacy without Pac. Mayweather has had limited competition while Pac has had tough opponents.
your trying too hard. Just stop…Posted August 31, 2012 7:09 pm
This just in Pac wants to thank Floyd for conceding this era to him without a fight.Posted August 31, 2012 6:55 pm
Then u got Floyd fans like “dont split the revenue then you’ll have to fight him”.Posted August 31, 2012 6:37 pm
1 ppv broadcastPosted August 31, 2012 6:32 pm
Oh and Pac does those #s on his own no Canelo no Morales. Floyd puts together ufc undercards to compete with Pac. Like i said before thanks Pac for making Floyd put good fighters on his undercards and giving us our monies worth all the credit goes to u. U got these dudes showing fights from 2 different arenas to match u on 1 ppv broadcast to lmfao.Posted August 31, 2012 6:30 pm
Fact: Pac and Bradley Fought
Matt from Sydney
Obviously a big Mayweather fan the guy who wrote this. Got the horse blinkers on.Posted August 31, 2012 6:22 pm
Well if u feel like that Floyd go try to do 2.5-3 mil. ppv buys with sumone else. Ur “0” means nothing ur slightly better #s over a foreign fighter in ur own country means nothing its all about drawing power and ur not getting all the revenue from Pacs drawing power. Stick a tampon in this dude because he is what u stick a tampon into.Posted August 31, 2012 6:21 pm
Hey Man your to logical for pactards. THey will just call you names and start talking about something completely different. One thing thats guaranteed is that they will try to make pac look good no matter how foolish they make themselves look.Posted August 31, 2012 6:02 pm
Manny will not fight Mayweather until Arum is removed from the picture. Unless, Mayweather signs with Arum. Does anyone see that happening?Posted August 31, 2012 5:58 pm
Yall need to check yalls facts. It took Pac 3 fights to pull those numbers with Marquez and that is because Marquez has been marketing himself pretty well with his fights. Floyd sells more PPV which is where all the money comes from. If Pac wants to fight Floyd then he will have to go with what Floyd wants. Pac should of taken the fight back in 2010 when Floyd agreed to 50/50 but Pac didn’t want to take the test. And saying Floyd needs a dance partner to pull in the good PPV numbers, check the numbers for Mayweather vs Ortiz. And the numbers have never been reported for the Marquez fight or the Bradley fight so claiming he did 1. anything with Marquez can’t be verifiedPosted August 31, 2012 5:54 pm
floyd and jmm did pull in 1mil. buysPosted August 31, 2012 5:47 pm
100% agreePosted August 31, 2012 5:40 pm
Lol facts. Yes plenty of factsPosted August 31, 2012 5:37 pm
RaidR – Joy has never been able to do +million on his own, never-mind 700,000??? Mayweather has done more than Pac with EVERY common opponent that they fought….. Dela hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Marquez, and Mosley….Posted August 31, 2012 4:59 pm
Good article with FACTS. Anybody who disagrees is clearly on Pac’s sack.Posted August 31, 2012 4:43 pm
Wow. That’s one article full of hate. Usually that kind of stuff is kept to the comments bit.Posted August 31, 2012 4:27 pm
“enjoys a lower tax bracket”?
“Stupid hateful people will always make stupid statements”
Man seriously, Bradley WON! Who cares what anyone thinks personally, when he gets in the ring they are going to introduce him as “The Undefeated WBO Champion” Tim Bradley. Regardless of who anyone personally thought won that fight. I think he lost to Marquez but no one is saying that Marquez won the last fight because it didn’t go on his record.Posted August 31, 2012 4:17 pm
Let’s break down what’s wrong with this comment, “In this case, Pacquiao would be better off taking whatever crumbs Mayweather throws him because he won’t be able to bargain at all, period. It’s bad enough right now with Pacquiao losing to Bradley, and the fight drawing only 700,000 PPV buys.”
Why would Manny have to take anyone’s crumb’s he’s a PPV star, already rich, has multiple endorsements, and enjoys a lower tax bracket. Manny didn’t lose to Bradley why do you Floydiots keeping parroting this sentiment. Anything above 250,000 in sales is a successful venue. We are so used to seeing numbers in the +million category that we’ve forgotten what marks true success. Joy has never been able to do +million on his own, never-mind 700,000. Joy has always needed an opponent that brings in his own money making fan base. I.E. Cotto, a double venue with Canelo as the co-main event when he fought Ortiz. And even with all that star power it only generated 1.3 buys. Stupid hateful people will always make stupid statements.Posted August 31, 2012 4:09 pm
I see the ole not doing the exact same numbers excuse is being flagged once again. They are both PPV stars. Joy will never see the numbers he will get fighting Manny ever. It takes two people to make the fight 50/50 like real men. Its not like its a lose/lose situation, it’s a win/win. Frazier held out until Ali realized he’ll never make the kind of money he could fighting Frazier rather than not. What we got was a thrilogy for the ages. and gentlemen that is how it gets done!Posted August 31, 2012 4:00 pm
Pacquiao is the biggest fraud in sports since Lance Armstrong. Pacquiao ducked Mayweather for years and now he wants to cash in before he quits, screw that Mayweather doesn’t owe Pacquiao anything.Posted August 31, 2012 3:56 pm
spot on article. Pac is in a rock and a hard place. He cant beat Bradley i the rematch, and the Marquez fight is 50-50. Either way if i were Pac, I would wait untill next year and fight Floyd in May for the 40 millon purse. The fight will still be big because most people think he beat Bradley. The smart move Pac is to cash out on the Money May fight and call it quits, ya digPosted August 31, 2012 3:36 pm
So, it’s easy to figure out… if Pacman fights Marquez, again, and if the fight is close, again, Pacman will be given a split decision, again, because Pacman can’t loose, again, …. boxing is also a business…today? it’s all about the money…. so, i predict a contraversial split decision in favor of Pacman…. again!Posted August 31, 2012 3:31 pm
oh pls . . . he can fight whoever he wants to fight or he can quit. Mayweather or Pacman can call it a day any time they want. Mayweather may one day be hurting for cash way before Pacman ever will. Neither of them are in that position at the moment. Pacman can fill an arena every day of the week in Manila.Posted August 31, 2012 3:23 pm
