It’s Me, Ernie

That WAS a monster shot…

That Herol Graham KO was one of the coldest I have EVER seen it was clear that all brain activity had ceased when that shot connected before that Graham was showing plenty of activity after that shot he was truly lucky to be counted among the living…

The 1st fighter to ever beat Julian Jackson was the greatly feared 154-pounder Mike McCallum… Jackson was 29-0… McCallum was 26-0… MM pinned The Hawk to the ropes and destroyed his body—taking him out in 2 rounds.

SRL, MH, TH, and RD were obviously impressed.. Jim Murray.., “Do you think any of these guys will fight you?” … The Snatcher.., “Not after this. I’ll have to lighten up a little.”

Loved watching Julian fight even his loss to McClellan the first one was exciting, A punch or two for Julian and a punch or two less for McClellan and it could have been Julian winning that one instead of Gerald.

Jackson was always exciting. He literally turned fights around with a single shot.

I remember thinking, this will be a great fight, 2 punchers, Jackson is the favourite, McClellan over powered him.

I remember the fight against Gerald McClellan, it was on the undercard of Lennox Lewis v Tony Tucker, I was more interested in the Jackson v McClellan fight, Jackson got beat up in that fight.

Big Al

This guy was amazing during his run. Half of his KOs are still used in highlight reels. Nasty KO over Terry Norris too.

I meant Jackson, with the knock outs, Herol Graham as well.

Mike McCallum tamed him.
