You could be Alex’s leader enema schnozzle.. The blind leading the blind.

Alex…. I’m extremely educated and enjoy a great life.. You obviously have problems beyond making instant judgments about people and their backgrounds if they attempt to give you advice.. For starters, you won’t listen to the wise.. Good luck.

Get a life and get an education.

Tark, you need to read my comments over again because obviously what you lack in reading comprehension you attempt to balance through your imagined brain washed moral compass. The fact of the matter is I forgot to mention that what I say are facts but my conclusions such as that Pacquiao should not have tampered with his religion by converting to “born again creep” is what ruined him. Furthermore, his own mother made the same accertions and she certainly knows Pacquiao better than you know Pacquiao. The few people that I countered you with (you only mentioned a couple to prove your point) were among thousands of leaders that had adulterous affairs unfortunately holy rollers such as you ruined them and persecuted them and made them change their character (their inner drive of invincibility) so the consequence was and is every time that they become mediocre instead of great. Lastly, you are boring me with your inane reply s… you do not know the meaning of the word celibate versus the word adultery, please look up their meaning, get an education, and then try and make half way intelligent comments. I also believe God forgives specially when one confesses to Him through a Catholic Priest. Jesus gave that power to Peter the Apostle when He declared Simon your name is now Peter which means Rock and upon this Rock I will build my church (the Catholic Church). Peter was the first Bishop of the Catholic Church and became the first Pope of the Catholic Church. Matthew 16:17 reads,

16:17Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 16:18I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. 16:19I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will be released in heaven.”

So if a great man sins or commits adultery he is not necessarily condemn like you think as long as he repents and confesses his adultery. Of course he may repeat his sin its only human nature. So you people that think you are superhuman and you think you are saved because you do not sin you are the ones that are going to hell. Pacquiao most likely will go to heaven. Am judging you? Not really. Marquez will surely go to hell.

I see so if you do not agree with a comment you would be the only person to make comments that are acceptable, afraid it does not work that way. If anyone here is a clown it may be you. Have you heard about freedom of speech?

Tard wrote: “The world isn’t like that.. You can’t make up motivations and excuses for everyone in the world and just have these great insights as to how everything works out and why, and who’s responsible.” YOU should take your own advice. You seem to think you know what fighters/promoters/managers/etc think and now you feel compelled to let us know what is on God’s mind. Too funny.

Alex… The world isn’t like that.. You can’t make up motivations and excuses for everyone in the world and just have these great insights as to how everything works out and why, and who’s responsible. Forget it. A ballplayer might hit a homerun every 32 swings at a pitch. He is going to hit one of 528 homeruns higher and farther than any other he hit. He got a better cut, he got more wood on the ball, and it left the ballpark like a rocket. You might buy a lottery ticket tomorrow and win 300 million dollars. Or you might not. God does interfere in human events on very rare occasions—but not often and not with a bias towards saints or sinners. That’s his job. He’s God. He has to be impartial. Marquez and Pacquiao are masters of their own fate to a large extent. They have done very well, but there’s always the element of chance. Things happen … and you have to deal with it.

Jebuz, you must be the devil.

Posted January 4, 2013 1:34 am

Alex, you’re an idiot.

Posted January 3, 2013 5:14 pm

Alex…. If God asked you to stop doing something that was profiting you 25 or 30 million dollars an event — would you stop doing it??? God gave us a free will and there’s no sin in boxing for a living… So with a free will, don’t you make up your own mind?

Now, I can see where God might not be a big fan of Boxing, but He’s probably not a big fan of checkers and other activities he considers not sinful, but a waste of time… I wonder if Pacquao felt free to say, “I understand your request God, but just the same I want to have 3 to 5 more fights … and if you don’t think that’s a good idea maybe you can give me some kind of sign.” … Now, that might not have been a sign from God when MP got iced — it could be Marquez knocking Pac dead with his own God given talents.. JMM IS a great fighter after all, and Pacquiao said he got careless and made a horrendous mistake.

At this point all I can say is I am glad you had nothing to do or say in the decision to award the honors to Donaire. Donaire deserved it more for all the obvious reasons not just one dirty fight by another south of the border dirty fighter. Hey, by your standards it should have went to Antonia Margarita?

Posted January 2, 2013 9:45 pm

Kevin, I am going to guess you are not a follower of any religion. Ever since God created Adam and Eve he has been punishing people for the slightest offense to his authority. Kevin maybe you are not dead yet because God wants you to do some good before he calls your name for the last time. As for God not having the patience and interest to punish anyone in boxing…then I do not think you are a boxer. I’ve seen many boxers and the great ones pray to God before the match. Why is that? Do you think its because God has no interest in boxers? Whether you like it or not boxers are human, they cry, the get angry, they bleed, they have all the emotions you and I have and best of all God listens to all of us including you.

Here we go again with one of those bloggers that love to call people names. Why is that? I guess one way they think they can win the argument is by attacking the messenger. Frankly I am not impressed and I do not think anyone here is impressed with attacking other bloggers instead of attacking the message itself. Please stick to the facts. I was answering Tark’s references to God and maybe you do not know much about God and certainly I do not know enough about God but whether you like it or not God knocked out Pacquiao for changing religion and he used dirty fighter Marquez to do it. God works in mysterious ways. As for God punishing people that is his forte so read the Bible and see how many people God has knocked out cold some never to wake up again and if they did they would wake up in hell. Not my problem you do not like parodies and if you do not like my posts best is not to read them then you can keep your sanity. God bless you.

Kevin Armalube

I personally believe that God doesn’t have the time, patience or interest in boxing to punish or reward anyone. If he did punish people for their actions, I should have been dead 50 years ago or more.

Alex, Arce was so committed that he retired postfight and basically said he was comfortable because he was defeated by a GREAT fighter… NOT exactly the statements of a HUNGRY combatant…. He was DONE, I am not mad at Donaire for taking the 1 million dollar payday but there is NO comparison between Marquez starching the Fighter of the Decade and Donaire starching a HAS BEEN like Arce….

Posted January 2, 2013 5:16 pm

Alex, your sanctimonious tirade does not impress me and saying “God knocked out Pacquiao” makes me wonder if you are some sort of nutcase… Unless God is names Juan Manuel Marquez, is Mexican, 39 and about 5″6 then it was not Jesus or whomever you worship turning out Pac Mans lights…. ON to Arce who is a COMPLETE has been in the ring with an elite fighter like Donaire the results were predictable..Saying “anything can happen” pretty much justifies ANY matchup being made…. We work on probabilities and the odds favored Arce going out just the way he did…

Posted January 2, 2013 5:14 pm

Proud African

Marquez should have got the nod.

Posted January 2, 2013 4:47 pm

Scredmond, do you really have to use filth to make a point? So you are the only intelligent person in this conversation? A wise man once told me to be on the look out for people that call themselves intelligent, usually they are not! To say that a boxer has a zero shot of winning any fight show quite a lack of intelligence or knowledge of boxing history… do you think Arce went into the ring to lose? Please, try to use knowledge once in awhile.

Posted January 2, 2013 2:45 pm

Why would anyone follow a person that uses profanity and call people foul names? Get a life son, look in the mirror ans ask yourself if you want to be remember for your foul mouth?

Posted January 2, 2013 2:40 pm

Tark, the problem is that Pacquiao did abandon his Catholic faith (its a fact) and from what you just said and I believe you God warned him for his mistake and God knocked him out. Why do you think God did that?

Posted January 2, 2013 2:37 pm

Posted January 2, 2013 2:25 pm

@ Alex…. Pacquiao is a devout Christian last time I heard… Dumping his Catholic Faith is probably the last thing he would do.. Before the Bradley fight Pac said, “God talked to me and told me to stop boxing.” Pac also said, “When God talks to you, you’re on FIRE like you’re MELTING.”

I guess God wants to make sure you know it’s Him talking to you—and not some wayward apparition. Pac hasn’t been awarded any wins since then. First God tells you to quit boxing… Then he gives you a nudge… Then he gives you a mighty shove… After getting nailed to the canvas for 10 minutes what’s next on God’s agenda? Being that He’s the Creator of the universe, I would think He’d like to be taken seriously when He tells you something … Especially when you tell everyone else about the conversation.

Jorge Arce was BEYOND washed up that win was lucrative for Donaire but its not going to be part of his legacy building endeavors… Marquez passed the SAME tests that Pacquiao did and the ONLY reason that BUTT HURT fans are trying to sully his reputation is bitterness for his brutal disposal of Pacquiao… Marquez knocked out his #1 rival meanwhile Donaire stopped a hasbeen in Arce who has 0 shot of prevailing in that bout…. There is NO intelligent comparison between the quality of those wins…

Posted January 2, 2013 1:39 pm

Sorry, meant Pacquiao lost his Catholic faith and got punished for it.

Posted January 2, 2013 1:37 pm

I like the way Nonito knocked out big mouth Arce. That alone is worth fighter of the year and I missed the lolly pop thing in Arce’s mouth, so maybe he knew he would get knocked out that night…now that is putting fear of the Lord in an opponent and that is what Donaire does to his challengers. Did puffed up Marques do that? No, not until he puffed up and personally regardless of the denials he seemed like he was on drugs… and how about that dirty blow to the back of Pacquiao that is the real illegal blow that put out Pacquiao not the shot to the face. Watch the knockout in slow motion and instead of focusing on the blow to the face look at Marquez deliver the foul with all the force of his knew alleged found strength. Nonito lost because he dumped his Catholic faith and got punished by God for doing it.

Posted January 2, 2013 1:35 pm

I like Donaire and he worked his butt off or an elite fighter but Marquez deserved the nod I think its VERY political that a guy who stopped one of the GREAT runs in boxing history (Pacquioa’s) via highlight reel KO is being ignored… Donaire was not in the ring with anyone of an elite level and certainly was not 39 years old trying to book that win… 2012 was JMM’s year the culmination of 8 years and 4 fights worth of effort, training, pain and pursuit….

Congratulations Nonito! Can’t wait to see you in the ring again. Happy New Year to all boxing fans.

Donaire was a great choice… Give a world champion credit for fighting more than twice a year. That has been the standard and he’s trying ot raise the standard.

Now fight Guillermo Rigondeaux.. Maybe you’ll win the award for 2013 if you win.

Posted January 1, 2013 6:43 pm

Give the award to Chauncy Welliver. It’s that unimportant that we might as well make a ciomplete farce of it!

Posted January 1, 2013 5:26 pm

The Mad Scientist

Peej I agree, if that’s the case they should’ve given the award to Leo SantaCruz who fought 5 times against opponents who were pretty much in the same level as the comp Donaire faced himself in 2012..

Posted January 1, 2013 5:21 pm

Sorry but Donaire does not or should not be fighter of the year. They could of easily named a prospect who has fought like 6 or 7 times this year if that is what they are basing it on. Heck give it to Wilder. There are more deserving fighters of that award

Posted January 1, 2013 5:15 pm

The usual end-of-year “Awards”…based on some unspecified individuals opinions. As meaningful as…….nothing. Next article please.
