It wasn’t a left hook, it was a sweeping right hand.

Ernie- The laws of this country should apply to all, legal or not. To hold somebody for 7 months without a trial or sentence is a travesty and it happens everyday. I don’t know about any free healthcare for illegals. I have heard though, from several people I know, of sick people who don’t go to the doctor under any circumstance, and of illegals actually paying income taxes in case there’s ever an amnesty. I have very good, responsible law abiding friends from all over who have gone through hell to try to give their families a better life. No one should be against that.

Fight Aficionado

Good to see Angulo finally back in the ring. That he was in jail for so long is a bad indictment of how the US is handling some of these immigration issues. Hope he stays busy now that he’s able to resume his career. Win or lose Angulo is one of the best action boxers we have.

This is garbage – Casarez was NOT completely out, and the Ref DID count…to about 5 or 6, and then waved the fight off. Casarez did appear very dazed, but managed to struggle to his feet and back to his corner. This writer obviously didn’t see the fight.

ERNIE, It’s Me. TE TUMBO and We don’t give a flying f’k about your definition of “illegal” anything. this country’s entire history and foreign policy is based on violating national boundaries and “sovereign borders”. usually at gunpoint. so imagine our bemusemet at being lectured about “illegal” anything or “entitlements” by the likes of You. Wake-Up. You Lost. Stop your pissin and moaning and get back to Work.

The guy Angulo just KO’d spent more time on his hair then he did in the ring… sad.

It’s Me, Ernie

srminimo- Injustices suffered by ILLEGAL aliens? Oh yeah like all the entitlements? Free health care? All the laborers who pay no income taxes?

what about a second Kirkland fight?

Good to see Angulo back and ai hope he takes this opportunity to shed light on the injustices suffered by illegal aliens. If a guy like Anglo, who is on national TV, can prove he comes to the US to work, and is backed by the power of promotional lawyers can be kept “detained” for seven months, imagine what happens to the rest.

I was just reminded to never blink while watching a fight. BTW, beards should be prohibited in boxing.

El Perro has always had very good power and I enjoy watching his fights. Last night’s win vs. that club fighter is a solid confidence-booster. But we won’t know what he has left in the tank until he fights someone who punches as hard as he does. The 154 lb. division is ripe with talent so hopefully he finds himself in a significant matchup soon.

Honestly, I don’t think anybody expected this fight to go more than a couple of rounds. Glad to see “El Perro” back.
