Happyboy…. If you wouldnt waste 10 cents on the K’s … you shouldn’t waste 10 minutes reading up on them and taking the time to put in hate posts… Unless you enjoy hating on people like Sredmond and Whiteman… What are American heavyweights doing??? Many are undefeated in well over 20 or 30 fights—but they’re not filling football stadiums or making 10-million bucks a fight.. They’re scared of the Eastern Euros—and scared of each other as well, or they’d have a box-off.. The only guy who’s fought anybody is Jennings—and Wilder accepted a sparring offer from Wladimir to help him get ready for Wach.. At least that’s a step up from being a sparring partner for AUDLEY HARRISON. These guys are errand boys … BTW David Haye is a great heavyweight.. At a rock hard 6’3″ X 211 Haye has a better combination of hand and foot speed, defensive finesse, punching power, and skill than any heavyweight from the 70’s except Holmes.

Unbiased Dane

Unhappyboy(must be due to the Klitscko´s massive dominance)
Dont start with that silly argument about HOF´s. I mean look at some of those fighters who became HOF. Rocky Balboa, Ingmar Johanson among others. Unbias boxing fans dont fall for this crap. Wlad will still be crushing your country’s fighters for the next 3 or 4 years. So my advice is to move on to another sport if you cant accept how the things are.

History will forget happyboy, huckster, tark . . . Wlad will be written down and remembered as a dominant force during his time. His physic will be standard which other champions will try to follow as well as his work ethic. His accomplishments as an academic and person will also set new standards. His accomplishments will be used to measure future champs. That said. Go Wach!

@ Tark . . . No bout about that. That is the truth.

If you’ve been a Heavyweight Champion for 10 years, you’re not hoping.. You’ve achieved greatness.. Every other heavyweight out there is hoping, including Americans Seth Mitchell, Joe Hanks, Bryant Jennings, and Deontay Wilder.. As soon as they sort out who the best American heavyweight is, he can go after the Heavyweight Championship as see if he can hold the title for 8 years and 16 defenses … Good luck with that.

Very interesting and good words from wladimir and his team

Swedish Boxing Fan.. Wladimir is a Top-5-ATG Heavyweight Champion. Vitali, Holmes, and Lewis may be ahead of him… I see WK beating Louis because of his tremendous size and strength advantages, plus his great jab, left hook, and right hand. Louis tended to get hit with jabs and right hands and didn’t have great feet. The caliber of heavyweight Wladimir’s been for the past 2 or 3 years, few Heavyweight Champions can match. He may be inching past his peak but he should be good enough to reign until Pulev catches up to him … It should be remembered that Lewis, Holmes, Ali, Louis, Marciano, Liston, Dempsey, Tunney, Jeffries, and Johnson only faced one southpaw between them.. The Klitschkos have faced southpaws in TEN (10) of their Heavyweight Championship fights. Only in the last generation have heavyweight southpaws not been largely ostracized—and former Soviet Block heavyweights allowed to box professionally…

Yeah it was truly sad when Emanuel Steward died a few weaks ago and especally when Wladimir Klitschko is still the top champ and in his prime time, but I belive Wladimir have learned evrything he needs to know about boxing and how to fight his opponents in best way as he himself is a smart man in the ring and outside it and I hope Wladimir will reign a few more years until he decides to hang up the gloves for good. I mean Wladimir is the best heavyweight in the world and if he keeps this up he will be one of the top 10 greatest world heavyweight world champions of all times, but Im afraid that he will suffer the same historical view as the great Larry Holmes still struggles with to get true recognition, but hey Wladimir Klitschko have a huge fan base here in whole Europe so his chanses are better.

Steward said, “‘You know Wladimir, fighters are smarter than trainers.’” ..So often that is true.. Trainers argue with boxers, “This is the way to do it.” I watched a trainer teaching the wrong way, which happens all the time.. This time the boxer said, “No disrespect—but let me say something.. I don’t rotate my fist a quarter turn for the left hook in this case—because this opponent is shorter and I often throw a flurry of hooks with both hands. It’s awkward and slows me down if I turn the punches over.” I walked over and asked the trainer, who was a very well known trainer, to throw a few flurries of hooks with both hands at a heavy bag and see what felt more natural, more powerful, and much faster—when he turned them over or when he didn’t.. He finally said, “DAMN..You guys are right.” … Often a trainer’s ego won’t let him admit he’s wrong—but the smart ones listen.
