big head

i got gary russell over lomanchenko when u got the speed like how gary russell got and the power that a dangerous combinations right there to deal with gary got control speed so lomanchenko will have his hands full but i think lomanchenko can cause gary some trouble tho if lomanchenko use his jab and footwork and angles in and out his head movement got to be superb in this one if he stay to flat footed he going to get caught all day by gary he cant reach in to much either make gary come to you lomanchenko throws good combos he a good body puncher that somthing gary never faced yet having say all that i still got gary winning by ko in the 7th or 8th round once gary find his range it going to be over for lomanchenko when they get into a exchange gary speed going to be the differences and gary is a very body puncher as well i see gary doing some good body work in this one jabbing to the body force lomanchenko to open for gary to counter him but we see what happens

LOmachemko by UD

Devon by UD

Guerrero by UD is a tough fight that could be controversial

salido. just another drugs cheat.

Haimat, you are correct, there are too many bias comments and Te Tumbo makes some of the worst, but there’s no way to avoid that, other than to ignore their comments. Salido did get away with fighting dirty against Lomachenko, that’s the main reason he won the fight. But then again, if the referee allows it, there isn’t much an opponent can do, other than to retaliate in the same manner.

ESPN, after Salido “won” against Guerrero: Salido’s post-fight urinalysis tested positive for the banned steroid Nandrolone, according to Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission.

“Corona girl on the left kept starring at me, I think I might have a shot haha.” – Michael are you sure she didn’t keep looking at you because you were staring at her 10 minutes nonstop? Of course if you get any chance at all ream that girl. Hot as hell.

Only way Salido won the Lomachenko fight is by cheating. First by not even trying to make weight and outweighing him by 11 lbs. It was a featherweight vs a lightweight. Then he excessively fouled throughout the fight and the deranged ref Cole who’s been banned for corruption in the past let it slide. Also, Salido is a proven drug cheat and lost his title previously due to testing positive. Lomachenko is still by far the better of the two. The only question is what the loss did to his morale and confidence. Some guys are mentally demoralized even if it’s a disputed loss. Either way Lomachenko should beat Russell by UD.

the only thing i saw in Lomachenko’s loss to Salido was a talented and successful amateur being predictably outfought by a rugged and experienced pro. what i did not detect was breakaway talent or skills of any kind. i don’t consider enduring a predictable loss to be a talent or skill but rather very poor judgment in matchmaking.

a styles mismatch is the best scenario for Alexander but when has Soto-Karass ever possessed a styles-advantage? he wins despite his crude style, which also happens to be difficult to anticipate. as usual, Karass will come out swinging with the intention of — at-least — inflicting some serious damage early. if Alexander can avoid that for 12 rounds he wins but he needs to be prepared to avoid it for the entire 12 rounds. inflicting some serious damage himself wouldn’t hurt, either.

Thanks for the comments fellas! A few thoughts – Loma is definitely bigger than Russell in person, they almost look different weight classes. And Kamegai will definitely have a reach advantage against Guerrero. And on the undercard, I’ve never seen Chad Dawson look this “pudgy”, had a little skin on his belly. I wonder what he has left? …oh and that Corona girl on the left kept starring at me, I think I might have a shot haha.

did mike jones retire after one loss?

Posted June 21, 2014 8:19 am

I made a mistake…you were right it was Blade that got KO by Pascal.

Posted June 21, 2014 6:46 am

Chad Dawson was last knocked out by Stevenson NOT Pascal.

Go Kamegai!

Nice coverage by ESB Just watched the highlights of Mike Jones VS Jesus S Karass ,nice work done by Jones . I had forgot all about him Soto K has taken a lot of punishment fighting some serious dudes .

Since losing to Jones , Jesus has lost to Gab Rosado , Marcos Maidana and Thurman all by TKO .

Devon needs to be at his “slickest” at the same time attack the body of Jesus to soften him up for the fall ..
I seriously can not see Karass fighting at this level or any , if he keeps getting hit like he has in his past fights .

Don’t know much about Yoshihiro Kamegai, but judging by his 21 Kos out of 26 fights he has power. However, Robert Guerrero is a tough guy and can bang as well. This may turn out to be an interesting fight. Not sure who to pick though as I don’t know Kamegai and Guerrero, who has been out for over a year, may show signs of ring rust.

I’ll pick Alexander over Soto Karass…I believe Devon will outbox him. I also will pick Lomachenko over Gary Russell Jr. Though Lomachenko lost to Salido, I was impressed by Lomachenko’s poised and determination. He has the tools to become a champion.
