DaTruth Hurts

Most if not all of the Sore Loser Rants on these Boards are not from Argentinians.. they’re from Sore Losing Chihuahuas like te tumbo, who prayed to their Santa Muerte Saint for Sergio to Beat the Puerto Rican Super Star Cotto… Because it drives them insane when a Puerto Rican gets such Attention and Accolades.. LOL fkers never change..

I agree with the posts stating Jamie McDonell is too big and too seasoned. Hall deserves a rematch first or if I were Butlers manager I’d move him back to challenge for the IBF super flyweight strap. He is stronger at that weight at this point in his career

most people are saying and i agree let hall have his rematch.thats the fight the fans want.

Butler won a fixed contest! Warren promotions is bigger than Hobson’s,money talks!

Good fight I think Mc Donnell edges it tho. At super-fly Butler looks almost unbeatable but a batam he just doesn’t have the power. Maybe he’ll grow into the weight but for now I give edge to Mc Donnell good fight tho

1985 – nobody cares about caballero you huge douche!

Butler has to fight mandatory randy el matador caballero from california stop running away from him

James, yeah it could well be Warren playing the game. If McDonnell turns it down Warren can accuse him and Hearn of running scared and if he accepts then Warren has got a Hearn fighter on his show on Boxnation like he did with Ryder so that in itself is a small victory for Warren.

Also, Did McDonnell not terminate his management contract with Hobson and make it clear he wants to fight on Sky, Im sure i read that not so long ago on on boxing news, FW has form for this and needs to do it to play the PR game and to try and generate publicity, He was also saying Woodhouse turned down his career best purse to fight Saunders only for Coldwell and Woodhouse to confirm it was nonsense.

I think the reason is FW has seen the real threat posed by Eddie HEARN and knows he’s gotta up his game. He knows that the public are no longer going to accept mutton and that the hug fights that he so often sat on and didn’t let happen need to happen and he wants to dictate them rather than be dictated to.

All the promotional wars are going to benefit us fans in the end.
We would love to see Frampton and QUIGG, McDonnell and Butler, BELLEW and Cleverly, HAYE and ?Fury, Khan and Special K…. The list goes on…..

We may be lucky and get some of these fights, but I think we will get more in future thanks to HEARN and his hostile takeover.

1903, Its just Warren doing the PR as he knows fine well that fight wont be accepted on BN, He done the same with Cleverly and Froch etc etc and Butler is far too small at that weight to beat someone like McDonnell. Warren and Butler should give Hall the rematch he deserves as he was good enough to agree them a shot and it was a very close fight that deserves a rematch

Think about it, in the last year or two there have been three IBF Batamweight champions from Great Britain. When was the previous fighter who held one of these so called world batam weight titles from Great Britain? the machinations of these boxing organizations and promoters never seize to amaze. I don’t think this is anything new though, back in the 50’s, the World Batam weight champ, Australian Jimmy Carruthers, and the man he beat for the title, South African Vic Toweel seemed to fight a lot of bantamweight contenders from the British Commonwealth, something the previous champ for so many years Manuel Ortiz did not.

Surprised Warren has gone after this one he must really believe in Butler. Think McDonnell will be too much for Butler at this stage though but will be entertaining if Warren can put it together.

Slim Whitman

I thought you couldn’t say Frank Warren on this site.

I TOO BELIEVE Jamie McDonnell will beat Paul Butler. I don’t believe Butler has the fire power to keep McDonnell off him. Jamie is too big, strong and now seasoned for Butler, who has the potential to be really good, but maybe not at this weight?

mcdonnel beats him easily.
