A former world champ with no boxing skills? Scratch that, u say Stieglitz is no good either? Both these guys wouldn’t use u as toilet paper?

He’d school u in the way that a boxer schools a keyboard warrior? Pretty much by bashing u and half way thru feeling sorry 4 u?

RayRay, in which way do you think Abraham would school me? Would he show me how to keep up my arms in front of my face throughout the whole fight and let my opponent pummel me all the time? As thats what he does all the time, then yes he could “school me there”. But the guy has no boxing skills whatsoever, and if you dont see that you dont know much about the sport then. I am not fighting anymore but I used to so I know what I am talking about!

Getting a belt than sitting on it avoiding good comp has been going on 4 yrs, specially in Germany. U have already mentioned 1 of the worse in Sturm….Otke takes that crown however?

Prince I didn’t say elite but they r solid…..they don’t just give belts away….what titles have u won? They’d both school u, so 2 say a guys aren’t good is a bit disrespectful….I aploud any1 with the balls 2 get in the ring?

To those who think these two are good fighters, if that is your opinon ok. But both of them stayed unbeaten as long as they did not face top quality opponents. Look at Abraham, who has he fought before the Super 6? He never fought guys like Pavlik, Sturm when he was at Middle and that was because he would have lost to them. Then with a record padded with wins over mediocre opposition he entered the Super 6 and was humiliated!

Both solid guys not in the class of Ward or Froch but still very capable…..a lot of ignorant people on here calling them bums etc…..far from it? Do a little homework these guys a solid fighters.

This is far from a joke….a 3rd fight had 2 b done 2 settle the score….I think this could b very entertaining…

Sad Ken

No it’s a serious fight, no comedy involved.

joke fight. end of.

Posted February 27, 2014 3:58 pm

What’s the use of yet another fight between these two? Abraham will stay behind his double-defence, trying helplessly to throw a knockout punch; Stieglitz will throw one feather punch after another, only having the chance to win on points. It’s a senseless repetition

Some very harsh comments on here. Abraham was a very effective fighter at Middleweight. He had decent power and a nice little run with the IBF belt. At the time of his reign he would have and did go on to beat Taylor who was the linear champ for a period. Then there was Pavlik and Sturm. Were they much better than Abraham? I dont think so. He then showed balls by moving up in weight to super middle for the super six tournement. There were some top guys in that competetion and I dont think theres much shame in loosing to Dirrel, Ward and Froch. He has probably come to the end of his career as I dont think Steglitz would have beat him at his peak. So no, Abraham is no bum.

Swedish Boxing Fan, Abraham was and is a bum. He defeated and over the hill Jermain Taylor and lost against every other big name opponent he has faced. Now this match-up means two bums facing each other for the 3rd time as they dont dare to fight good opponents.

I would like to see Kessler vs stieglitz I think that fight was on ones but it didn´t happen, why I don´t know. But think it could be a good one. At least for Kessler to get make in the mix if he wants to keep on fighting, does he anyone WHO know?

dwc – Yes that is true. Arthur Abraham was also avoided by Jermain Taylor before and then Felix Sturm (who ducked all the best opponents), so Abraham was after 10 fine defences of his world middleweight title left with-out any better fights just becouse Taylor, Pavlik and Sturm avoided him plus I don’t now what happend with a Ronald “Winky” Wright fight either.

Sure Abraham knocked-out Jermain Taylor later as a super middleweight challanger and later got that recognition he could have done as a middleweight and even became WBO world super middleweight champion as well but he was never ment from the start to be a major force as a super middleweight fighter.

I wish he stepped down back to middleweight and fought for the middleweight titles again as he haves his best chanse there, but Felix Sturm would still duck him and there are no guarantes with Martinez either, just Golovkin would take his challange.

Sturm should move up to SuperMiddleWeight and fight the winner of this fight, like he had planned to, before he lost to Daniel Geale.

Hermann, you are probably right! Ein joke here fur you alles. Why was Hitler terrible at golf? He couldn’t get out of the bunkers!

Swedish boxing fan…Agreed 100% Also I recall when Pavlik had the belt at middlewt. A.A. kept calling him out but Pavlik kept ducking him.Thats when A.A. moved up in weight because Pavlik wasnt giving him the shot at that time.

Sadly but I belive Arthur Abraham have done his best days as a super middleweight contender. He was a major force in the middleweight division but as a Super middleweight his natural sice have not been to his advantage and his performances in his latest fights have not been of A class I’m afraid. I hope I’m wrong as Arthur Abraham have made many great fights in his career to look back at but mabey he just not have what it takes any longer to become world champion again.
