with the right mentality/fighting spirit Johnson wins. Problem is his fighting spirit though, so I go for Chisora…

Johnson needs to come in this fight with Chisora in GREAT shape, which means below 240 pounds. That being said, if he’s aggressive and throws combinations, setting them up with his excellent left jab, I think he’ll stop Chisora late, dominating the whole way through. But Johnson’s got to stay busy, giving Chisora plenty of side to side movement and JABS.

Deontay “Sparrow Legs” Wilder…. have to admit it does have quite a good ring to it :p

Expect a boring fight that goes the distance. Johnson can out box Chisora from the outside, as Chisora is not a gifted fighter. Chisora’s success comes from trying really hard. On the other hand Safety Pin is a better boxer from the outside, due simply his jab, but he can’t really fight. Neither knows how to fight on the inside. The key to his defense is his lack of offensive effort, he seldom takes a chance. If Johnson had a set of balls he would have a decent chance of winning………….he doesn’t and won’t.

Chisora is a good pressure fighter NOT a massive puncher, Johnson is no pushover, and a proven durable heavy. If he shows up pissed off at being seen as a gatekeeper/stepping stone, I reckon a minor upset could happen………

johnson aint going to be easy! del boy is dreaming if he thinks this is going to be a walk in the park!

Mr gav

I’m surprised this fight was made. Chisora needs easy exciting fights to boost his profile but Johnson will provide a tough boring fight. Chisora needs to be focused (he has problems with that) if he has a chance of beating Johnson. But I hope he goes to knock him out otherwise were in for a bore fest which may require a lot of fast forward action on the remote

I don’t get how Johnson is being seen as the proverbial stepping stone in this fight. Chisora ain’t the most talented boxer out there… relentless with a lot of heart by all means, but not a world beater by any means.
I do think Chisora should is the favourite, but if I ran a betting house, I’d have the odds pretty tight in this matchup (though they’d be pretty big for a KO victory in either direction).
