Manuel “El Toro” Quezada (26-4, 16 KO’s) is back in action April 23, 2009 when the Tachi Place Casino hosts the “Best of Both Worlds PFC/Boxing” fight card. Quezada, who currently holds the WBC CABOFE heavyweight title, battles Chad Van Sickel in a scheduled ten round bout. “I’m excited that I’m able to get back in the ring and stay busy,” Quezada said .

“In my last fight, I felt real comfortable and scored a nice knockout. I credit that to a great training camp. I’m getting the best work sparring at Joe Goossen’s gym in Van Nuys CA. My goal is to continue winning and climb up the WBC rankings and eventually crack the top ten by the end of this year. I’m willing to fight anyone anywhere.” Look for Manuel to come forward and bring the fight to Van Sickel as he looks to extend on his 15-fight winning streak.

MIKE PASCHALL WRAPS UP TRAINING IN BALTIMORE READY FOR BATTLE WITH POLICE ON THURSDAY NIGHT

BALTIMORE, MD (March 31, 2009) Super middleweight fan favorite, Mike “THE PERSECUTOR” Paschall wrapped up his training for fans and media on Tuesday afternoon just two days prior to his showdown on Thursday night with Sam “THE PUNCHING POLICEMAN” Hill at Michaels’ Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore.

“We’ve trained hard and now we’ll fight hard. I’m in great shape and ready for whatever Hill brings to the ring on Thursday night” said Paschall after his workout.

The Paschall/Hill bout headlines an outstanding evening of world class professional boxing presented by Las Vegas based TKO BOXING Promotions, home of the nationally acclaimed “HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS” series.

Paschall, 18-1-1 (4KO’s), is coming off a terrific six round decision win over James Johnson on November 20th at Michael’s Eighth Ave. On August 2nd, Paschall lost a Showtime broadcast battle to Andre Dirrell when the bout was stopped in the fourth round due to a bad cut.

Hill, 17-10-1 (10KO’s), an active member of the St. Louis police force, has faced numerous world champions and contenders in his twelve year career including Jermain Taylor, Rico Hoye, Sebastien Demers, Prince Badi Ajamu, Maselino Masoe and most recently Travis Simms. In 2001, he scored a ninth round TKO of former junior middleweight champion David Reid.
