It seems we are further away than ever when it comes to seeing the anticipated return fight between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko. Ex-champ Klitschko, who first saw a July 9 return with Fury fall apart due to Fury picking up a calf injury, is now threatening to take the man who out-pointed him to court. Klitschko uploaded a video on his Twitter page earlier today, in which he stated the following:

David Price really wants a shot at IBF heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua – the man he revealed last week he flattened in sparring many moons ago. Price, under new trainer Dave Coldwell, is finally finding his “nasty side,” according to the trainer who spoke with Sky Sports today. Coldwell says Price is “fed up of being ridiculed and written off,” and now has “the devil in him” as he trains and looks for his next fight.
Coldwell says Price will fight like the huge puncher he is from now on; so it’s goodbye, nice guy, hello merciless puncher. At least that’s what Coldwell says, and he is “loving it.”
Tony Bellew says he is ready to show BJ Flores “why I’m the best cruiserweight in the world”
As fans may have read, it is now official how WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew will make his first defence against long-time contender B.J Flores. Promoter Eddie Hearn is promising a “huge card” for Bellew’s hometown of Liverpool on October 15, with a number of supporting bouts to be announced in the coming says – with appearances by David Price and Rocky Fielding likely and a fight between Gary Sykes and Sean Dodd at lightweight already confirmed.

Tyson Fury took time out to celebrate his 28th birthday over the weekend but he assures his fans he is back in full training this week. Fury, who has been driving around in a limo with the date (Oct. 29) and venue (Manchester ) of his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko emblazoned on the side, took to Twitter to list his goals for the coming months.
“This year Oct bitch Wlad. March 2017 weightlifter AJ. Summer 2017 hollow Wilder, let’s make this happen, let’s dance pussys,” Fury wrote late last night.
David Price says he KO’d Anthony Joshua in sparring, wants opportunity to try and do it again in IBF challenge
A couple of days ago, reigning IBF heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua put out a Tweet telling would-be challengers to leave him alone as far as asking for a shot at him unless they are “serious” and not mere hype jobs. Well, fellow Brit and former British champion David Price saw the Tweet and responded to it by stating he wants to fight A.J for his IBF belt. But that’s not all: with his challenge, Price told of a story regarding how he knocked Joshua out in sparring a few years back.
Carl Frampton receives massive homecoming in Belfast, vows to become a three-weight world champ
Irish hero and recently crowned WBA featherweight champion Carl Frampton returned home to, well, a hero’s welcome yesterday evening in his native Belfast. Greeted by thousands of fans, who lined up on the lawn of the Belfast City Hall, two-weight ruler Frampton looked to be genuinely moved by the affection his fans gave him. Already being called the greatest Irish fighter in history, Frampton, 29-years-old and currently 23-0(14) wants to put a seal on this by becoming a three-weight king.
Sauerland says there is more interest in DeGale-Groves II than DeGale-Badou Jack
When they met in May of 2011, James DeGale and George Groves were fresh, young and unbeaten super-middleweight prospects. A whole lot has happened since the majority decision win picked up by Groves. Of the two, DeGale has managed to become a world champion, currently holding the IBF crown he won by defeating Anthony Dirrell last year, while Groves has thrice fallen short: losing two massive fights with Carl Froch and, more recently, being out-pointed by Badou Jack.
Sky Sports poll: who is Britain’s best current world champion?
Sky Sports recently launched an online poll, asking fight fans to vote for who they feel is the best of the current British world champions. With an impressive 14 reigning world champions to pick from (an amazing achievement for British boxing; with champions at heavyweight all the way down to bantamweight) fans who voted had a tough task.
