Tyson Fury Preparations Going Smoothly says Peter Fury / We Think Klitschko Might Start Fast

Ahead of Tyson Fury’s massive heavyweight showdown with Wladimir Klitschko on October 24th in Dusseldorf, Germany, the giant, 6′ 9″ challenger has been looking trim and in the shape of his career a little over a month out, a notion confirmed by trainer and Uncle, Peter Fury, who has insisted preparations are going smoothly and to plan.

Speaking to Buncey’s Boxing Podcast, Fury – the father of Tyson’s Cousin, Hughie, who also boxes on the card, said that while the team appreciate the dominance and 11 year unbeaten streak of Klitschko, they are preparing to play to their strengths and plan on getting it right tactically on the night.

The “Hayemaker” came up woefully short in his 2011 challenge to Klitschko – a challenge that resulted in the now-infamous ‘toe-gate’ saga, and after later twice signing to fight Fury, and then twice pulling out, the self proclaimed ‘Gypsy Warrior’ was in no mood to mince his words.
