i am sure glad Paquiao has no inexplicable match ups. what a fine resume.he only fights the best competition available. most of his victories are over current or former world champions! no tomato cans on Manny’s resume.

Yeah Ted, if you say new site sucks the delete it. Esb lost alot of fans and there to arrogant to change it back to the old format

I’m still not convinced treating Low-T is performance enhancing in nature. If Peterson has a real condition, is he not supposed to get treatment? I think not disclosing it in advance of any and all fights to the relevant commissions is the issue. That is what makes him look like a cheat. If I’m not mistaken, my understanding is that James Toney is also a fighter who had Low-T.

“floyd was so right test them all please test pac” I see you’re still whimpering about your last anal ambush.

Tomato Can

But really this puts an exclammation point on the fact that the governing bodies don’t care whether PED’s are used or not. I guess all that matters is that good fights are made. A little juice here and there just might make fights that much more exciting.

Wow, I’m with those who are scratching their head concerning this mess. Okay, if the IBF is going to let Peterson keep his belt, then let him face someone who really deserves the IBF belt. Matthysse should be the getting this fight.

Did they mean to say judah a world beater at 140 and 147…HAHAHAHAHAHA what a joke, I remember him acting like a spoilt little baby when the true world beater in KT ‘DESTROYED’ him and made him look like a child. Pity there aren’t any fighters like that still in action today. KT, a gentleman out of the ring and a gentleman and ferocious animal in the ring!!!!!

Damn, this makes Khan twice the loser.

Te Tumbo… Here here. Another stink kicked up

te tumbo

i don’t know what’s more pathetic? that Peterson is getting a pass for drug-cheating or that Judah is once again being handed another title-shot on a silver platter? otherwise, Peterson shouldn’t be holding any belts and Judah should be redeeming his unofficial loss v. Mathysse, which would reveal whether he’s even remotely worthy of another title-shot. Btw, Boxing won’t die as long as true fight-fans don’t support suspect fighters or inexplicable matchups. fight-fan displeasure was able to ding Pacquiao’s* marketability and negotiating clout. we Don’t have to pay for what we Don’t want.

Jahsuth F Krist this sport is a mess. Disband world bodies including the Ring, attempt thereafter to be somewhat less corrupt and criminal than sat Fifa, but then who gets a diamond-plated interim silver super championship from whom? It’s the fans who deserve accolades for sitting through this shambles the last few years- thus keeping boxing and boxers on the radar.

The Kingslayer

What a joke and people wonder why boxing is dying.

Fight Aficionado

Peterson is a confirmed juicehead and should not hold that IBF title that he “won” loaded to the gills on synthetic testosterone. If he “maintains he has done nothing wrong” then he remains a cheater.

Speachless. IBF so curropt. How can they let this happen. Bad day for boxing……again

Posted August 10, 2012 3:53 pm

Peterson is a cheat, plain and simple, everyone who thinks he did not cheat his way to victory over Khan needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

Posted August 10, 2012 3:11 pm

Peterson’s testosterone was low therefore the doctor prescribed him more testosterone. just like any doctor would for me or u. Wat is so hard to understand about that ppl. how is that cheating

The Man in the Hat

“People know me through Michael Hunter and the IBF. I’m not a mystery man at all. That was a bunch of BS from the very beginning … It puzzles me that I’m this mysterious guy that dropped out of a sewer and they say I tried to fix a fight.” Mustafa Ameen (January 2012)

STFU idiot.

I’ve read the article over and don’t see any reasons brainbox. How about directing people to the information sparky.

Gonzo The Dragonborn

Another tap on the wrist for an American drug cheat. Roy Jones was on the gear since at least the Seoul Olympics but it was brushed under the carpet by the powers that be just like it was for all the other thousands of American drug cheats who tested positive, including the ‘great’ Carl Lewis who blamed it on one of those ”over the counter medications” but in reality was jacked up to the nines on about 3000 different illegal PEDs. What was James Toney’s punishment for getting caught juicing again? Fined a couple of thousand dollar and a six moth ban?? lol. I bet that hit poor little millionaire James hard. And what about Mosley, Vargas, and Holyfield (allegedly lol)? What severe punishment did those cheating $%#@! have to pay for their crimes? Notice how virtually all of those cheating pussies never dared leave the protective sanctuary of their homeland (ie. the undisputed P4P capital of illegal PED abuse in the world) whilst the were in their respective primes? Disgraceful

KaRon the boxing king

Floyd Mayweather is right on about drug testing fighters……boxing is corupt…smh

Posted August 10, 2012 1:10 pm

I read the article and still don’t understand why he gets to keep the belt. I don’t like Khan.. but this still ain’t right to me. If you get caught you should be at least stripped of the titles.. let alone suspended……….. decent fight nonetheless.. not the best fight.. but decent. Better fight for the division would be Garcia vs Maidana.. or Maidana vs Judah or Garcia vs JMM.. or Khan vs Maidana 2

Posted August 10, 2012 1:05 pm

raging bull

This is bad for boxing , the IBF is curropt an peterson is a cheat , if the levels were allowed did he get caught for ab normal levels? and why did he not declare this to wada before the fight and not even after , tottally bad for boxing, he should be suspended an the title made vacant for khan an Judah

Posted August 10, 2012 12:57 pm

Everyone is so worried about testing, but I keep saying the testing isn’t the problem, it’s the diciplinary action taken after a fighter gets caught is the problem. I don’t care what kind of testing you have, fighters will use as long as there are no consequences. But hell, I’m not a big fan of the PED arguement anyway.

Posted August 10, 2012 12:37 pm

If Judah wins I would love to see him fight Garcia granted he gets past erik… If Lamont wins I would love to see him fight khan again! This time knock him smoooooooth out!
God bless!

Posted August 10, 2012 12:29 pm

Reading comprehension people…read WHY he was able to retain the title instead of just yapping.

Posted August 10, 2012 12:22 pm

So if you want to take drugs the IBF’s fine with that. What a load of BS. Somebody should sue the IBF for condoning the use of drugs and endangering boxers lives ( both those taking the drugs and those having to face drugged boxers with the associated unnatural advantage ). Pathetic.

Posted August 10, 2012 11:53 am

I could feign outrage that Peterson is still holding one of those paper titles, but my first thought on reading the headline was ”Please God not Zab Judah in another big fight”.
