Well said, Gerry Lee. By the way, Frankie is a good boxer and hopefully he’ll go for the European title this year.

@Anonymous to you who said “does gavin ever fight more than once a year”…I just looked at Frankie Gavin’s record just as a matter of interest. Since he turned professional early 2009, Gavin won 5 times that year, 3 times in 2010, 3 times in 2011, 3 times in 2012 and 4 times in 2013 to make his record 18-0 to date. You are therefore factually incorrect (as usual), you never bring anything good to a discussion and you don’t even know what you’re talking about…but then we all knew that anyway, you useless moron!

Yet another underwhelming match up by his promoters and he needs to start stepping up and fighting live opponents, Bundu for the European would have been a tremendous fight for him and i would have fancied him to win tbh, it would also have attracted a lot of interest given he had just beat Purdy and looked very good in doing it but they throw in yet another journeyman who brings very little and will be lucky to win a round.

It’s time for Frankie to make serious inroads in 2014 and win a world title. Very skillful boxer, but doesn’t seem to have made the progress that many people thought he would make. Good luck Frankie, go get that world title.
