If Roy fought and beat Fury how would we rate that?Posted January 3, 2014 3:53 pm
Fury is fast… Wilder is faster… Not his feet, but his hand speed. They can both punch, but Wilder is the bigger bomber.
Fury has fought much better names so I think it would be very interesting.Posted December 31, 2013 6:30 pm
that says a lot.Posted December 31, 2013 9:34 am
Fury is faster than any other big man out there.Posted December 31, 2013 6:53 am

Fury isn’t all that bright. He’s so amped up and frustrated about the Haye fiasco that it’s going to backfire on him badly. Prior to landing that mega money fight they had a fantastic solid idea for Fury to sell out decent UK arenas against heavily faded former big title names to build interest and fanfare. He was looking at sending contracts to; Rahman, Briggs, Peter etc (all except the last needing more cash). He needs to accept the Haye fight is gone and go back a step in his development. All the word was that Tyson was looking fantastic in camp for the Haye fight, nimble, loose light footed and quick handed. I think he took that fight deadly seriously and was genuinely training with the (perhaps misguided) belief that he could do a ‘job on Haye’ to use Peter Fury’s words. Fury is his own worst enemy though and all of this recent exposure and fame coupled with inactivity could badly affect him.Posted December 31, 2013 4:42 am
surely hw boxing cant get any more laughable than this.Posted December 30, 2013 5:32 pm
WHAT?! Fury will get KTFU in 2014, just wait and see.Posted December 30, 2013 3:07 pm
Fury calls out wilder……………….silence. fury calls out browne………yeap when and where!!!Posted December 30, 2013 2:21 pm
bring on 2014. I cant wait to see wilder fight some more shoe salesmen and taxi drivers. Please make sure they are all under 6″0 old and really slow so they have absolutely no chance of reaching him. Come one wilder step it up.Posted December 30, 2013 2:19 pm
Interesting that Browne has accepted the challenge….but not Wilder???? I guess as Fury is a young Top Ten Heavyweight he is not the kind of walking corpse Wilder is interested in fighting! Look for Wilder to angle a fight with Matt Skelton or Bruce Seldon next!!!!Posted December 30, 2013 1:34 pm
I feel for Fury. He is working so hard to get a freaking fight. Chisora vs Fury does not make sense he beat Chisora. Wilder or Browne vs Fury would be an amazing match up. Maybe even Thomson or Arreola.Posted December 30, 2013 2:05 am
“Wilder was number 1 sparring partner for wladimir. Wlad said about him he is tough heavyhanded puncher. He also said he sees him as a next champion.” – Wlad said that after dropping Wilder with a jab in sparring. Not impressed, he’s being nice to a guy who gave him rounds.Posted December 30, 2013 1:17 am
And an unperpared Fury beat an unprepared Chisora by a wide margin.
You need glasses.Posted December 30, 2013 12:18 am
Wladimir likes to say encouraging things..
He thought Banks was going to step up his game in the Mitchell rematch and get the China-chin out of there even earlier. Wladimir took a flight over from Germany to watch his esteemed trainer … But Banks did NOTHING past the 4th round and it was painful for WK to watch.
Let’s say you’re Wladimir — and a reporter comes up to you and says, “I see you’re doing a lot of sparring with American Heavyweight Deontay Wilder. What do you think his prospects are with the mix of heavyweight talent that’s out there right now? Is he for real?”
You probably would say something along the lines of Wlad’s comment.Posted December 30, 2013 12:14 am
First of all Fury did not beat by any means Chisora so why Tark are you so sure about rematch saying fury will beat him ??? In my opinion Chisora gain lot of experience and Fury get knockdown by cruiserweight. Second nobody know who will win between Wilder and Fury. In my opinion Wilder. Everybody keep saying he got weak opposition but REMEMBER. Wilder was number 1 sparring partner for wladimir. Wlad said about him he is tough heavyhanded puncher. He also said he sees him as a next champion. Is those words from Wlad does mean anything to you guys? You can talk, think, watch fights but Wlad knows better than you and me. I am not 100% sure Wilder is that good because he didn’t fight any top 10, but please listen to pros.Posted December 29, 2013 11:07 pm
What Fury wants his money. He would call out manny Pacquiao for money. Maybe he would call out a midget for money. That is the idea. Money $$$Posted December 29, 2013 10:34 pm
Swedish Boxing Fan
Seriusly, Tyson Fury, a big, strong and prime heavyweight top opponent calls out a 44 year old boxing legend Roy Jones jr? The same Jones Jr that was originally a middleweight world champion then super middleweight world champion, 3-time world light heavyweight champion and a short tripp heavyweight world title holder late? Wow, Tyson Fury calls out an fighter natuarly smaller fighter tyhat never was a real heavyweight material, an fighter 10 years from his champion days and years from his prime?
Is he desperate to fight or does he lack respect for boxing legends? I just lost a little respect for Tyson Fury doing this. What did he think with this bull s#it ? – So low.
The only boxers owning the right to call out or challange Roy Jones Jr are eaither 48 year old light heavyweight world champion and old rival Bernard Hopkins for a 3rd and final fight (1-1), 43 year old James Toney for a rematch or 44 year old Glen Johnson the same reason. They all 4 are from the same boxing era of generatioin and have fought each-other before one way or another and non of these fighters have nothing more to prove but fighting each-other for old scores.Posted December 29, 2013 10:13 pm
Yeah I saw Fury say this on Twitter. Don’t see why he’d bother with Chisora since that was a clear win already and also don’t see Jones Jr adding anything. But Browene and Wilder would be good fights.Posted December 29, 2013 6:13 pm
Fury will beat Chisora in any rematch… Guaranteed…
He’s a better boxer and jabber. Dereck is fighting a lot and gaining a lot of experience, but Tyson is just too rough, tough, and quick for him.
Chisora is fairly slow and easy for a fast guy to jab.. Like Kevin Johnson, George Foreman, or Michael Grant, you can’t make a slow fighter fast … and anyone with a jab is going to kick their can.Posted December 29, 2013 5:03 pm
Fury will lose to Chisora if they rematch probably by KO.Posted December 29, 2013 4:33 pm
Why is he calling out Roy?
they should bring back the bum of the month club, there”s plenty to pick from.Posted December 29, 2013 2:18 pm
@Python: you either have a personal dislike for Fury or you don’t watch boxing at all to come up with outcomes like that. How is he “china-chinned”? No shame in getting dropped by a 200+lb former Cruiserweight champion and then coming back to TKO him. Wilder was dropped by Sconiers for G-d’s sake – since then the video has mysteriously vanished off youtube… Del Boy too limited, Wilder will be biting off more than he can chew, Areolla too easy to hit for Fury and Browne while I think the most dangerous of the lot – wont have a enough tricks up his sleeve to beat Fury. Like it or not Fury s right up there and almost ready for a title shot!Posted December 29, 2013 1:55 pm
Forgot Fury-Chisora. Already saw Fury beat Del Boy once. He’d do it again.Posted December 29, 2013 12:51 pm
Fury UD 12 Arreola in an untidy brawl
Wilder vs Fury will answer questions about both fighters.Posted December 29, 2013 11:00 am
Clearly showing signs of pugilistic dementia with this list. Why Jones? And Browne?Posted December 29, 2013 8:30 am
did I get hit in the head to much?? Fury sucks! he can not fight at all!! he is a goof lolPosted December 29, 2013 8:02 am
and to think there are some retards on here who think this is the best hw era ever. LOL.Posted December 29, 2013 7:27 am
DMX, ur right. Gary Mason would’ve annihilated him too. No power and no chin, pure mouth. Even Scott Welch would’ve beaten him.Posted December 29, 2013 6:39 am
fury proving he is all talk. you’d think with that big mouth, his chin would be at least average.Posted December 29, 2013 6:12 am
Freddie Roach Ate My Hamster
Wilder hasn’t fought a single live opponent yet, why would he start now? He’s clearly marking time against weak opposition as Haymon thought that he’d secure Vitali’s belt when he retired. He’ll have to wait for Wlad to retire & Amir Khan to put on 6 stone so that they can fight for the vacant title!
Fury will fight Browne next & try to get a title shot. He may not be good enough but he believes that he is, so wouldn’t duck anyone.Posted December 29, 2013 5:53 am
any of these fights but pleeease not roy jonesPosted December 29, 2013 5:48 am
Tyson Fury is in the right era
All these guys would have destroyed this gangly saggy chested out of shape idiot in the UK
The rest of the World would never have heard of himPosted December 29, 2013 5:29 am

If the Jones Jr. Fight can’t be made here are some options for Tyson Fury…..
Hahha….that would be funny to watch Fury beat the PEDS out of Roy JOnes, then sing a song.Posted December 29, 2013 3:51 am

I like fury but calling out roy jones… WTF? even joe calzaghe should be embarrassed at picking at the corpse of roy jones without fury trying to do it all these years later, you would have never heard either of them 2 calling him out if it was a peak jones that’s for sure lolPosted December 29, 2013 1:59 am
Calling out Jones Jr what next Tarver? Hey maybe Pacquiao could eat his way up to Heavyweight.Posted December 29, 2013 12:44 am
Fury would knock Wilder out. Wilder has never fought anyone even nearly ranked, plus Wilder refused to fight Chisora or Tony Thompson. Does Wilder have a hard right hand? How in the Hell would boxing fans know? Wilder has fought only winos from the alley………….How did Wilder get ranked #3 WBC? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Fury would knock out Brown……….
Fury would knock out Roy Jones…………….
Fury would beat Chisora either by UD or probably by TKO or KO………….
Fury is much better than most fans know………………..why in the Hell would Wilder be thought of as a good heavyweight? Americans are claimint that Wilder is the greatest heavyweight of all time, well, they he had better start fighting some real fighters instead of going to graveyards, alleys, etc., for his fake opponents…………..Posted December 29, 2013 12:15 am
Wazza of the rose coloured glasses. Now for a bit of realism.
Chisora UD Fury – I know he already beat Chisora, but not the fitter more serious Chisora that fights today.
Fury acts like he wants respect and legitamacy in the sport and as the future of the heavyweight division…and yet he’s calling out a 45 year old Roy Jones. Fury is a complete joke. I’m really dissapointed that the Haye fight didn’t happen because someone needs to knock this bum out. Wilder will knock him out and so will Stiverne if Tyson actually has the stones to fight them.Posted December 28, 2013 11:14 pm
Fury UD CHisora
Jones? A bit bizarre… If you going in that direction Tyson please fight James Toney instead: thats a KO I’m sure everyone would finally love to see! As for top contenders: Chisora, Browne (for the Commonwealth Title), Wilder(WBC eliminator), Andy Ruiz, Arreola (in Mexico),… just some ideasPosted December 28, 2013 10:50 pm
Can some one please knock the hel- out this pretender of a contender Fury!! The balls of this guy to call out Roy Jones Jr. What kind of man calls out some one that is half their size to a fight . Some one make this huge clown go away ,he is disgusting .Posted December 28, 2013 10:37 pm
“Chisora vs Fury that fight I want to see.”
Well go and watch it on Youtube. nobody else wants to see that again.Posted December 28, 2013 10:19 pm
Fury-Browne would be an exciting match-up.Posted December 28, 2013 8:57 pm
Chisora vs Fury that fight I want to see.Posted December 28, 2013 8:06 pm
so the big plastic paddy is calling out an ex light heavy ex ped cheat. pure class.Posted December 28, 2013 7:23 pm
this is the greatest heavyweight era of bums ever period.Posted December 28, 2013 6:45 pm
I just don’t understand why he called out Roy? The other guys yes all good match ups, Roy just don’t fit in that equation. Is fury going for Roy? Big name very easy fight? How can anyone who.has been knocked out by light heavy weights stand a chance against someone near seven foot? Is this a joke? Really I think it is fury. Seems to have humor about himPosted December 28, 2013 6:22 pm
Fury was dropped HARD by an old light hitting cruiser. But he will take Wilder’s punch…..yeah OK. I wish they would just stick Fury in with a big punching HW and get this hype job over with.Posted December 28, 2013 6:21 pm
Chisora would even be OK… Jones??? You’ve got to be kidding.
Browne… Pulev… Haye… Perez… Stiverne… Jennings… Wilder… Chisora… Arreola… Adamek… Glazkov… whoever…
Just not Roy… OK??? … GTFOOH with RoyPosted December 28, 2013 6:13 pm
Jake and the fatman
Fury should fight another few contenders first before going for a shot against Wladimir. For me Fury is still to raw and needs sharpening up also he needs a very active 2014. being only 25 he has plenty time on his hands to fight for a belt, a tune up bout or two to kickstart the year and then fight Wilder. IMO fighting Chisora and Jones junior would be a backwards step.Posted December 28, 2013 5:40 pm
Well, it’s obvious what is happening here. Fury must have verbal acknowledgement from camp Jones Jr for a 2014 fight. So Fury calls out competitive and big punching HW as a ploy to try and bluff the public that RJJ was the only guy to return the call come the New Year. This has set up BS written all over it.Posted December 28, 2013 5:08 pm
Fury should fight Tony Thompson while he’s treading water for a Vlad fight.Posted December 28, 2013 5:05 pm
Jones? Have we all gone daft?Posted December 28, 2013 4:39 pm
Browne would be a good first fight for Fury in the new year.Browne stays pretty active, has abit of a name for himself.Fury would also handle Browne pretty easy but would also get some rounds under his belt.Wilder will run from Fury…asking for a unrealistic contract,so he could walk away yet look like he wanted the fight. But 2014 could be a good year at hvwt. if these guys start stepping-up and start facing each other.Fury I belive will be getting some good fights in the new year also hopefully Pulev will meet W.K. aswell this coming year.Posted December 28, 2013 4:29 pm
Tachyon you’re a dolt. Never were there so many quality heavies as now.Posted December 28, 2013 3:52 pm
Poopstew says.., “Even if Jones knocked Fury out Fury would be better off just by having faced such an awesome all time great as Roy.”
That fight is patently and ludicrously stupid… Jones would have as much chance against Fury as Amir Khan vs Gennady Golovkin. Roy has gone back one million miles and suffered a lot of KO’s.
Even Roy Jones would think it’s a dumb matchup. He wouldn’t do it.Posted December 28, 2013 3:43 pm
Fury wants roy jr? Lol tyson is nutts. Fury is 3 foot taller than good ol roy.Posted December 28, 2013 3:40 pm
hope to watch fury in 2 months.Posted December 28, 2013 3:23 pm
Fury vs. Jones Jr! Bout time a good bout came along. Best of all I think this is actually winnable for Fury and would be a great resume builder having an all time great on his record. Even if Jones knocked Fury out Fury would be better off just by having faced such an awesome all time great as Roy.Posted December 28, 2013 3:18 pm
Looks like Fury is about to run from Wilder.Posted December 28, 2013 3:18 pm
I partly agree with tark. The HW division can be exciting but only if these fighters fight each other. Waldimir v Alex teapai is awful start though. As for fury chisora, wilder or Browne all show tough but winnable exciting fights which will improve the HW division. As for Roy Jones jnr this shows zero ambition he has not been a hw for 11 years and only beat a fringe fighter at that. But let’s hope that pointless fight dont happen. Im not sure who fury will fight but I doubt it will be any of them namesPosted December 28, 2013 3:10 pm
RJJ,…..cmon man. Fight a guy your own size Tyson. Wilder yes, Pulev yes, Browne yes, Chisora yes,….RJJ NOOOOOOO!!Posted December 28, 2013 2:56 pm
JONES JR.? Tyson, wtf?! Wilder, yes, a healthy Chisora (he was sick in their first bout), yes, Browne, maybe, but Jones jr.? I hope it’s Wilder. Tyson will win a UD, and then it should be Vladimir Klitschko or Pulev for him.Posted December 28, 2013 2:53 pm
TARK I have to disagree HW division has been the worst division for last 10yrs or more. 140 to 147 most exciting with 135 and below coming up next. 2013 Stevens, Triple G, Ward, Froch, Kessler, Bute and Martinez have made other weight classes exciting heavy boring.Posted December 28, 2013 2:26 pm
and amir khan has a great chin.Posted December 28, 2013 2:02 pm

dont laugh but some people pay to watch these big clowns.Posted December 28, 2013 1:41 pm
If Wilder’s people were smart, they would take the fight just to get the exposure. After Wilder stops Fury (and he will) then he could begin to negotiate smart money. But Wilder needs to fight someone first. Forget Jones, he’s out and has been out for years. Chisora? Maybe in the U.K. Brown is not yet a name to attract attention except maybe in Australia, and Brown will beat Fury (also known as Mouth Almighty). All talk.Posted December 28, 2013 1:38 pm
and people wonder why hw boxing has been in the sh#t house for so long.Posted December 28, 2013 1:31 pm
Wow calling out Jones Jr. LOL! The other guys those are good call outs but not a cruiserweight who is past his primePosted December 28, 2013 1:30 pm
The heavyweight division is the most exciting division in Boxing outside of welterweight… Fury… Perez… Browne… Chisora… Wilder… Jennings… Pulev… Haye… Glazkov… Stiverne… Wladimir…
If Fury-Wilder happens other clashes will be forthcoming…
I don’t know WHY the HELL all the top ranked heavyweights haven’t fought each other… Chisora hasn’t been ostracized because he lost a few fights. He’s getting more calls and challenges than ever … It comes from being busy and fighting whoever… Wladimir had his greatest success after he lost his 3rd fight by KO.. Everyone wanted to fight him and he obliged..
The idea that any loss is a death sentence is the dumbest crap ever conceived… It’s more managers and promoters who feel that way than fighters.Posted December 28, 2013 1:26 pm
