It’s Me, Ernie

yer done…

Manfredo is done. His father left his corner after the JCC loss (another example of a piss poor stoppage to give it to the favored fighter ASAP). I don’t blame him not leaving on that lame loss to spoiled little rich boy, but he’s won a few since then. Let it go. Train some talent after getting some guidance from dad. I get not wanting to sweep the floors of the Dunkin Donuts Center for the next twenty years, but there’s a middle ground between that and turning your brain to mush fighting on too long.

Manfredo is a fine man and has achieved a lot in his boxing career by becoming the IBO and NABA champion.

Manfredo seems like a great guy who, like me are Italian but also comes from a great family, Everything about this guy says respect and Professionalism but champ you’re too old, lost too much stuff, skill and heart, hang em up and raise your beautiful family. I put you up there with the other guy who I think has done much for the spot, Mickey Ward. You and him are to me, heroes and idols, but again , hang em up and say good bye, You might still be able to beat up the older guys or maybe the younger, greener guys but I need to ask WHY ? You’re much better than that .. I wish you only the very best there is in life … PEACE …
