Exiled Yank

All of Fm’s toughest fights have been with experienced champions. It never comes down to power, strength, or toughness. Those help, but it’s experience that gives FM problems from time to time. Canelo lacks that. Maybe he’ll land a few hard shots and end it early, but if not, FM comes out on top again. When FM does win, everyone will say he cherry-picked a green champion.

It’s Me, Ernie

Sometimes the sparring partner wins…

of canelo is fried its just a testament to floyds bs. next step is smaller 140 pounders. the winner of mathyse vs garcia. this is the only floyd fight ive been interested in. if its a dissapointment i wont watch anymore. making canelo make a catch. unreal. canelo pulls through and is a legend or the mayweather trend continues. if canelo folds (totally uncharacteristic) im done with floyd. i think canelo will make all canelo supporters PROUD. this kid wins or gets robbed!!!!!! you heard it here first!!!!!!

We’ll see what he says when Floyd gets knocked out

Posted September 13, 2013 8:27 pm

You know boxing. I would have never guess that from your comments. I believe Floyd and Pac’s last negotiations was a 40/40 split with the winner getting the remaining 20%. Floyd turned it down. I am a Floyd fan. But Floyd did not want that fight at the time. And for getting off this site, I will be here as long as I want–hopefully with people who understand and follow the sport with 20/20 vision.

gail mitchell

and lets get ready to rumbbbbbbbble. the only way you can size up an opponent…… by trial and error….. the tail of the tape may be what you will see last….when you size up and get an opponent that is worthy and he winnnnnns….think backkkkk the press conference before and after may not be the same/ zip it up and show us how bad you really are.

Mayweather Sr. is an X-Con. Don’t the Mayweathers have someone who hasn’t doe time to speak for them?. Has Ellerbe done time. He may have, he looks like someone has altered the size of the holes in his nose.

Posted September 13, 2013 4:23 pm

This tells you how smart Floyds Dad is, why would you say “My son will make Canelo look like a sparring partner” saying this takes some zip out of the whole thing. If you want the fans to buy the PPV show, make it sound like it’s gonna be a really tough fight. Not too savy.

Posted September 13, 2013 4:10 pm

If Canelo looks anything like Spadfora looked like when he sparred with Floyd it’s gonna be a long painful night for Floyd bwahahaha.

Posted September 13, 2013 2:42 pm

it will be like sparring for mayweather. Saul will look ok for about 3 or so rounds then be completely outclassed. Mayweather by UD or late stoppage.

Posted September 13, 2013 2:40 pm

i wonder if oscar doesnt want to be there because he knows about the fixed and controversial ending and how its gonna spark riots? hope not

Posted September 13, 2013 2:19 pm

what time is the weigh in?

Posted September 13, 2013 1:59 pm

@ fridog- if pac wanted floyd he woulda took that 40 mil floyd offered for a might! Youtube 1st n 10 intervoew w stephen a smith. Pac dont want it w floyd my friend

Mick the Marmalizer

I’ll be glad when it’s all over. The hype of this fight is boring me ridged!!……..

Floyd Sr is probably right on the money about the fihgt. Good thing he’s not on the promotional side of the house. What if Floyd wanted to prove he is more than just a defensive fighter and goes after Canelo? Yes, I know I’m high thinking such a thing, Floyd fight? ! lol. Suppose he does and we are treated to a Taylor vs Chavez I fight. Canelo wins by KO in the last round with seconds on the clock. Very unlikly but it’s nice to dream. Floyd 12 round UD. Even if Canelo wins, he beat up an old man they will say.

Sorry for the typos gents.

I too give Mayweather for 2 thumbs up for being and staying on top of the fight game for so long and generating the amout of money he does. I’ll BET Vegas loves the guy. Everyone has to have a hook, he sells himself well, he works the media, he trains really hard. If he he wins this one, he will be truely “THE ONE”. After he retires I think his promotion company will take over boxing. GBP is too greedy, MP will put the fighter 1st.

Posted September 13, 2013 12:56 pm

Canelo look out for the HOLDING.

Posted September 13, 2013 12:35 pm

Tomato Can

Hmmm, I think Mayweather will have a tough fight with Canelo. I see this one as a very close fight where Mayweather will get tested to the body and head. It’s all a matter of how he handles that test. This fight most reminds me of Hopkins/Taylor. All Canelo needs to do is keep it close and he can pull out the victory. If Canelo dominates the judges will be happy to give him the fight. I won’t make my pick tell the weigh in, though.

So what, IF Mayweather lose, who gives a sh-t he is old enough to be Canelo’s Dad. LOL CANELO ANDRE WARD IS WAITING FOR YOU!! stop taking advantage of little fighters. Fight SERGIO M

Posted September 13, 2013 11:08 am

Everybody keeps saying PAC is on the downside now after he has gotten his A-ss knocked off by a guy Mayweater toyed with. LOL Well who fought is that. Mayweather is older than PAC. Do I hear ANYBODY giving Mayweather the same excuses they give their heros? 17 YEARS and still going strong, Mayweather is not what he use to be, but he is STILL HERE!. Where is Castillo?, where is KOSTA? Where is Oscar,(well we all know where he is. Where is Hatton? Mayweather is the most gifted athlete in the sport and that gift im refering to is DISCIPlINE. NO DRUGS, NO GETTING FAT BETWEEN FIGHTS, ALWAYS READY. You guys should give HIM HIS RESPECT. If some of Floyds same critics had just 10 % of what he had, they’d be that much better in what they do for a living. HARD WORK! DEDICATION!!!

Posted September 13, 2013 11:03 am

FRIGDOG, get off of this site!! and as Boxy says, come back when you learn more about boxing. Let me get you straight, PACROID turned down 40 million dollars. Mayweather OFFERED IT TO PAC. MAYWEATHER is his OWN BOSS. SO how in the hell PAC was going to offer anybody, ANYTHING. PAC WORKS FOR BOB. PAC HIDES FROM MAYWEATHER behind BOB ARUM. If Pac REALLY wanted to fight he wouldnt have gave all of those EXCUSES he gave to AVOID Mayweather BEFORE his election in his country. A lost to Mayweather would have been devastating during that time.

I can’t wait to congratulate Saucy Sal after Saturday night. I’ve even waxed my back entry door ready for him to enter. The KY will also be flowing as I allow Saucy Sal to unwind inside me. I just love it when my man wins. Even if he loses I’ll still leave my love porch open for him. He’ll need something to take his mind off his bruises. See you later Saucy Sal.

12 boring rounds….Fraud will run to a decision with Canelo chasing him all nite. Sad for fans to fork out that kind of money to see a track meet, pop and tag match for 12 rounds. BOYCOTT PPV!

Posted September 13, 2013 9:02 am

Also, I would be surprise if Canelo makes weight. This may be one of those Juan M situations were Canelo gets a big fine for not making weight. I’m thinking Canelo will come in at 155 and will be around 170 tomorrow night. If Sr. thinks Canelo is going to be a sparring partner–he going to be a big sparring partner.

Posted September 13, 2013 8:36 am

If Sr. thinks that Canelo is a sparring partner, it going to be a long night. I think Floyd will win by decision but it will not be easy. Also Murderman, Pac would have beat up Floyd 4 years ago. However, Floyd did not want to fight. Pac is just a shell of himself now. Floyd is a smart man. What I don’t understand is why Floyd turned down the money. If he is getting 40 million plus to fight Canelo, a Pac fight back then would have represented at lease 50 million plus in his packet. I guess back then an extra 10 to 15 million plus was not worth a but kicking.

Martin “El Bruchador” Honorio

You know what? He’s absolutely right!! This is a sparring in ppv!! Hahahaha!! This will be very… very…. very boring sparring. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

There are two partners in a sparring match. Who will be the other one? If Floyd boxes the way he talks, he won’t see the 12th.

give it up for floyd sr one of the greatest brains in boxing and very articulate

Posted September 13, 2013 6:40 am

Fact, Like it or not, Floyd can beat canelo fighting with one hand behind his back.

Posted September 13, 2013 5:40 am

cool u cats****

Posted September 13, 2013 4:46 am

Floyd will more than likely make the fight as hard as HE wants it to be, I hope im wrong but I would never bet against Money.

Posted September 13, 2013 3:46 am

pure can anybody not c that. Canelo is gonna luk a Wright idiot hitting fresh air and getting caught

Posted September 13, 2013 3:21 am

DGSVXX …….Custard head could never in a million years get his phat arse down in weight to fight those guys ….Ole cheese head dont mind it when the juniorwelters step up too fight him though ………

Posted September 13, 2013 3:03 am

canelo will be doin what ittakes to impose his will. floyds getting hurt the only question is how floyd responds and if canelo lays it on thick from the get and until its over. hopefully canelo comes able to lay it on from start to finish. i think he will. i think canelo will brutalize floyd like he brutalized his sparring partners.

Posted September 13, 2013 2:58 am

Yup sparring fight, Floyd’s way is the boxing way, mostly blocking, dancing , ducking and two jabs then more defense, basically Floyd will be at his best….just plain defense. Equals to BORING fight.

Posted September 13, 2013 2:52 am

yeah right. boy sr has this one way wrong!

Posted September 13, 2013 2:33 am

serouisly do people really think he well have an ez time with canelo just put canelo with floyds last time opponents and tell me really if you would pick againts canelo mosly v canelo, zab v canelo, baldomir v canelo, cotto v canelo, hatton v canelo, guerroro v canelo, ortiz v canelo, I rest my case dude KO baldimir sleepy night night style, and soundly beat mosley I rest my case the kids on another level to these guys gatti v canelo
well see how much of a level he is cause i saw a mayweather get hit to the body in both the guerrero and the cotto fights. kids a killer.

Posted September 13, 2013 2:32 am

Like i said floyd will prob win decision but canelo will be floyd toughest opponent. Far tougher than pac. Canelo would murder pac if they fought! Hell pac might not beat rios!

Posted September 13, 2013 1:46 am

Floyd will win a ajority or unanimous decision but it wont be easy. Canelo is far from a sparring partner! But since floyd has had trouble w southpaw, chop chop rocked floyd, zab gave floyd trouble also. I think devin alexander would be a tough fight for floyd. Slick, skilled, good power n speed n a southpaw. Hmmmm interesting
