Woop woop, what do you mean by everyone?

Posted July 28, 2013 9:39 am

Woop Woop

Typical bluffed robots who have no original thought of their own. Everyone has called out GGG and he continues to fight mediocre or welter or Jnr Middle or injured opponents. He is the one who name drops knowing of other fighters schedules so that a match up is impossible. GGG is a fraud until he beats anyone of note. At least the other champs won their belts unlike the worthless trinket handed to GGG. Look at the suckers clamouring aboard the hype train. Chooooo Chooooo!!!!!!

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

“Kid choclate Quillin calls out Golovkin but both fighters fight for different networks.” Yeah… maybe, but we know for sure that 3G has called out Chocolate and every other Champion from 154 to 168lbs.

If Quillin reallly wants to fight 3G and they can’t make the fight, then there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with the current state of boxing. Real talk.

Posted July 27, 2013 9:58 pm

PitBull Petrill

Who he fights is irrelevant because right now GGG is unbeatable.

Posted July 27, 2013 1:37 pm

GGG against Murrey is most likely the best fight at this point in the mw. div. Ofcourse the winner of Geale vs Barker is good aswell and Kid Choc. could be a fun fight…..Sergio out for a year,on a downslide really lost to Murray willnt be in the picture anytime soon. And when Sergio does get back in the ring against a top guy I think its over.Unless the long rest does him wonders but I doubt it,plus his age is against him aswell.

Posted July 27, 2013 12:03 pm

Bottom line: Golovkin’s team asked Martinez for a fight but Dibella said no way. Golovkin’s team asked Murray for a fight but Rick Hatton said not yet. Golovkin’s team called out Barker but Barker’s promoter said he wasnt ready. Kid choclate Quillin calls out Golovkin but both fighters fight for different networks.

Posted July 27, 2013 11:43 am

agree with peej on who the linear champ is at 160. GGG is the one causing interest in this division. Martinez is out for a year.

Posted July 27, 2013 11:42 am

Martinez is the number 1 at 160. He is the champion. Everybody else with a title is just that a titlest. Martinez is not the best in the division but he is the champion. There is no need to unify. Hopkins did that and he was the champion. The he got beat by Taylor who then got beat by Pavlik. The Pavlik got beat by Martinez.

Who actually knows who’s #1 @ 160Lb? Because I don’t. It’s apparent that Martin Murray got turned over by the judge’s in his challenge against WBC champion S.G.Martinez, While current IBF belt holder Daniel Geale got ripped off by the WBA. This division need unification(as doe’s every division). Golovkin must for the good of the sport face the winner of Geale/Barker before the years out. Middleweight has given us some of the greatest champions ever “THINK” Fitzsimmons, Ketchell, Papke, Zale, Graziano, Robinson, Turpin, Benvenuti, Griffith, Monzon & Hagler. Unification is the only way forward. “1 World 1 Champ”!

Posted July 27, 2013 4:01 am

Peeg, it also doesnt make sense for Golovkin and Rosado to fight at 154 when they were fighting a middleweight bout for 160 lbs titles?

Posted July 27, 2013 2:17 am

Tyrone Jones

No all articles on this subject say Rosado’s promoter Russell Peltz insisted on a catchweight. Besides it doesnt make much sense for a popular HBO multi-belt champion like Golovkin to ask for a catch-weight against some relatively unknown fighter like Rosado.

Posted July 27, 2013 2:08 am

No they asked and Rosado said no because he didn’t want any excuses when he won. So like I said if that was the case why didn’t he just say we can fight at 154?

Posted July 26, 2013 11:23 pm

Tyrone Jones

Golovkin didnt ask Rosado for a catchweight. Rosado’s team did because they wanted money and wanted him to move up and take Golovkin’s middleweight title.

Posted July 26, 2013 10:57 pm

I don’t think anybody is most feared in boxing. For the right price anybody will fight. GGG is a beast and he will run 160 as long as he wants. He can easily become a mandatory for any of the belts and get them in the ring that way. If they dump the title instead of fighting then you know they are scared of him.

Posted July 26, 2013 6:30 pm

Well PEEJ I think he is the most feared (by trainers, promoters and managers as Anon says – boxers aren’t scared)
Who is the most feared then?
I think Golovkins team would put him in with anyone at 160, from what I can see he takes em all out. Will be tested if he goes to 168.

Posted July 26, 2013 5:07 pm

GGG staying busy until that big fight comes along, and it will eventually, waiting for it is not the answer because, although not totally proven he is still feared by many……most fighters don’t fear him, managers and promoters do….

Posted July 26, 2013 2:51 pm

I watched Golovkin’s last fight, first time I ever saw him … the kid was VERY IMPRESSIVE – a steel-cold professional on a mission, the ‘Ice-Man’ … he’s gonna be a Hall of Famer, I think …

Posted July 26, 2013 2:35 pm

and for the record murray beat martinez in my eyes…yuup!

Posted July 26, 2013 2:11 pm

murray is that dude right now who i think will give anybody problems ,triple G is making a name but you have to be willing to make a name off of a name so fight somebody already ,were waiting…yezzir!

Posted July 26, 2013 2:10 pm

Stop. When has GGG ever fought at 154. We don’t even know if he can make 154. I’m not saying he can’t but if he could, there is more money at 154. When he fought Rosado he wanted a catch weight. So again why did he ask for a catch weight with Rosado if he could make 154? And what has he done to get the fight with Floyd? He is still building his fan base. And Hopkins did say he would meet GGG at a catch weight and the said they are not moving up anytime soon. The are gonna stay at 160. Again this is from his trainers mouth. His own words

Posted July 26, 2013 1:58 pm

Tyrone Jones

Martinez may be overrated but Floyd sue as heck wont accept his call outs at 154 or lower. Btw, Hopkins also refused to fight Martinez at catchweight.

Posted July 26, 2013 1:39 pm

Tyrone Jones

Hopkins never accepted any catchweight because Golovkin simply said that he would fight Hopkins whenever and whatever circumstances. Hopkins though still insists that he has a mandatory against some unknown dude named Murat, which to me smells like BS.

Posted July 26, 2013 1:34 pm

Martinez is overrated. Hasn’t proved much other than he is injury prone and he should of got beat his last fight but got that home town decision. Hopkins accepted the catch weight fight but GGGs team decided against that which was the best move. They haven’t done anything to get a fight with Ward not to mention they have already said they are not moving up. He will run 160 for as long as he wants but 168 is a whole different story

Posted July 26, 2013 12:38 pm

Triple G seems legit to me, always excited to see him fight. But these stay busy fights like the ones vs. Rosado, Ishida, and now Stevens is starting to get annoying. I’m way more interested in fights vs. Martinez, Ward, Quillin, Froch, Geale, or even Chavez Jr.

Posted July 26, 2013 12:07 pm

You can’t blame GGG for night taking on the best at 160, but you can’t ignore the fact that he hasn’t….hopefully he does, SOON!

Posted July 26, 2013 12:05 pm

Tyrone Jones

Yeah 3G wanted Hopkins who unfortunately “claimed” he had a mandatory against some dude named Murat

Posted July 26, 2013 10:53 am

@sc- give me 3g against whoever at 154-160

Posted July 26, 2013 10:38 am

Tyrone Jones

3G is so feared that neither Ward nor Froch have offered a catchweight. Heck even Chavez Jr. wants to fight this small middleweight at super middleweight. On the other hand, 3G is willing to go down to fight the winner of “The One” but they aint responding.

Lou Dibella says: “Sergio will be out for at least a year. You saw his last fight, he won it on guts and will and balls alone. He had no knee, he had no hand, and I’m not sending a champion who is 38-years-old – after a year plus layoff – into a ring with this guy. I’m not saying they will never fight. I’m not speaking for Sergio, who is a grown as man and controls his own career. The successor to Sergio Martinez has already been determined and the next great middleweight is Triple G.”

Posted July 26, 2013 10:26 am

GGG is not the most feared boxer on the planet. That is a stupid saying unless it is actually true. They have not mentioned anybody turning down any fights. So this may have been there first option. Yes he is a beast but again who where they trying to get? Is there a list if names that turned him down? Nobody knows.

Posted July 26, 2013 10:14 am

Curtis Stevens. Really a let down after GGG fighting Macklin. His promoter really needs to do a better job.

Seems no one wants to fight this Khazak Killer….I think GGG def deserves the title – “Most Feared Boxer on the Planet”

Posted July 26, 2013 9:19 am

brick city

We dont know if ggg is the truth til he fights a live body who will hit him back

Anal is not contraception seems alot like nameless. They both like the word moron and starting fights with random people. Coincidence? Unlikely..

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

murderman: What up, playboy? I’ve been kind of busy lately, so haven’t quite as active on ESB. But I’ve still been posting on some threads, so maybe we’ve been commenting on different articles.

Who do think wins in 3G vs. Chocolate? Or how about 3G vs. Maravilla, Chavez or Murray? Who do you think would win if Chocolate fights Maravilla, Chavez or Murray? Just curious….

Posted July 26, 2013 5:31 am

Woop Woop

So GGG continues to duck the ‘real’ champs. He hasn’t taken any of the challenges thrown at him by numerous fighters after his last smoke and mirrors magic act vs Macklin. Is this guy ever going to step up and make a genuine defence of that belt that was given to him. Keep talking up those mediocre opponents GGG, there are plenty of suckers aboard your hype train. Choooo Chooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Posted July 26, 2013 4:47 am

@sc- where have you been homie?

Posted July 26, 2013 2:26 am

GGG is a beast, A middleweight version of Tszyu. Anything other than the other Middleweight belt holders is a waste of his time.
Martinez wont even entertain the idea and we will never see that fight (If Murry can put him on the canvas GGG will put him through it.
Chocolate want to make some more cash before taking his career a step back.
Geale I think is the most likely candidate to step up to him, At least Geale went to Germany twice and left with a belt both times ( Although I think he will surrender his belt to GGG)

Nameless, your other comment is stupid also. Are you a social misfit that gets online and takes shots at people so they will give you the attention you so desperately hope to get. That’s sad.

Nameless= clearly has nothing to add to the discussion but desires reveal how much of cretin he aspires to be…. So,… Congrats! Point taken.

Golovkin is sick! He’s got a mike Tyson/Vitali Klitschko type of intimidation factor that is spreading like wildfire in the middleweight division. Nobody wants to taste his power. Trash talk is easy, until they get knocked out or continue to avoid him.

Posted July 26, 2013 12:02 am

Got to make the obvious Prediction on this one! GGG by KO.

Posted July 25, 2013 11:19 pm

This is a step back for triple g. Either dudes like quillen n other top 160lbs dont want it w triple g, or his people are cherry picking! Im guessing nobody wants to fight dude cause triple g is the truth!
