That’s the 3rd time i’ve seen him and if been impressed more and more with each fight. You can almost feel the power everytime he lands a big shot, hopefully now he gets the big fights he deserves. Would love to see him ko Froch

Golovkin is as ready as he’ll ever be — he 30 years old, has an impressive amateur background and is a legend in Europe as a pro. I say feed him the biggest names now, he’s more than capable of destroying a few of them.

The Kingslayer

Pirog or Geale makes sense next.

Oh, and if you would have paid attention you would have noticed how many of those shots Polovkin slipped, blocked, or partially blocked, all the while walking down a very credible and skilled fighter. Impressive, very impressive!

Dude, you don’t know boxing skills when you see them. Golovkin is a force to be reckoned with!

The guy beats one supposed “named” fighter and he’s matched with the biggest names in boxing. That Polish guy looked like a high-school version of Prince so keep it in context folks! I’m sure you noticed how easy it was to hit Golovkin. And one of these days Max Kellerman is going to blow one of these fighters right on camera!

Big Al

just like roy jones said, this guy is the truth. he ko’d bute in the amateurs and beat andre dirrell in the olympics. both can be seen online. i think he not only beats anyone at middleweight, but anyone from junior middle to super middle,

Golovkin is going to be, or already is, at middleweight what the young Tyson was at heavy — FEARED! And rightfully so. He has wide arsenal of punches, he’s economical with his shots, has great balance, perfect placement of punches, nice composure, slick defense, strong chin and AMAZING power, plus while confident, he’s modest. Not only all this, he’s ready, willing, able to take on all comers over three weight divisions. What more can we boxing fans want from a fighter?

Mr Rubes

So is there three WBA belts now??? We have the “Super” WBA belt that is now Geale. We have the “World” WBA belt, which is Golovkin, and also the “Regular” WBA belt, which would be the version Povetkin holds at Heavy??

Would love to see him go for Carl Froch!!
Theirs this whole rumor he’s so powerful he spars with heavyweights, whilst I believe he has a tremendous amount of power I know most of the talk is partly exaggerated he IS the hardest hitting middleweight though!
Going into the Super Middleweights and possibly beating Carl Froch then fighting Andre Ward or Chad Dawson would be good get his name projected in the boxing world because some idiots out there still haven’t heard of him then again you can’t really blame him since he’s never had the opportunity like guys like Lucian Bute.

The WBA have allready ordered Geale/Golovkin to take place before the end of the year or Geale to be stripped(They obviosly know Golovkin is something special). Personally I’d like to see it happen in Australia as so called”WBA super champion” & IBF belt holder DG deserves it & looking at GG’s record his seems to relish fighting overseas. Geale had made noises regarding fighting Anthony Mundane again, but in all honesty AM needs to prove he deserves a shot in a 100% elimination, maybe against the UK’s Martin Murray or Matthew Macklin who both got robbed in Germany. The question also has to be asked as to whether Sturm has a re-match clause writen into the contract, if so again DG deserves the fight to happen in Australia. Right now things seem to be sorting themselfs out nicely @ 160LB. Martinez & Chavez JR should sort out the WBC #1 slot which not does not mean the World #1. Okay Martinez may be the linear champ, but time waits for no man. Sturm may be best off moving to 168LB & sounding out Arthur Abraham!

The Idiot

sad Rigondeaux and Golovkin are not at the same weight class, it would have been an atomic bout!

Martinez vs Golovkin, nothing more

Posted September 2, 2012 3:55 am

Middleweight Super 6 ! Martinez, Golovkin, Pirog, Chavez, Geale, Quillin

Posted September 2, 2012 3:53 am

Stay at middleweight AND clean out that division first

Posted September 2, 2012 3:13 am

Gennady would beat Trout, Cotto, Alvarez, Chavez, and Martinez. He will destroy Geale in his next fight. Golovkin is a top 5 fighter along with Mayweather, Ward, Martinez, and Gamboa.

Golovkin vs. Martinez or Ward. Would like to see him vs. Canelo too.

I would love to see Golovkin take on the big names in the Jr.-Super middleweight divisions but people are going to avoid him because of his power, style, and will use his lack of notoriety as another reason not to fight him. They’re going to see Golovkin as big risk/little reward. Man he would give the top names some trouble though that’s for sure!
