Moncton, New Brunswick (June 16, 2013) – Last night Brandon “L-Jack” Brewer (8-0-1, 3KO) continued his march towards a Canadian title shot by scoring an eight round, unanimous decision over Francis Lafreniere (3-4-2, 2KO) of Quebec to claim the vacant National Boxing Authority Eastern Canadian middleweight title. After the loss, Lafreniere immediately claimed he deserved the win to http://www.themainfight.com, despite all three judges seeing it in favor of Brewer: 77-76, 77-76, 78-75. Grachev (13-1, 8 KOs) is holed up at Abel Sanchez’s Summit Gym in Big Bear, California, where the stable includes WBA and IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, who fights in the US later this month.
