Comanche Boy Dominates in Bricktown

Middleweight contender, “Comanche Boy” George Tahdooahnippah (32-1-2) bounced back with a 4th round knock out victory over veteran Marteze Logan, Friday, January 24th at the Chevrolet Bricktown Center in Oklahoma City, OK. In a scheduled six round bout, action was one sided, with Tahdooahnippah controlling the pace from the bell with a heavy accumalation of body shots. In round four, Tahdooahnippah connected with a left hook to the body that sent Logan down for the count. “I was happy with my performance, but know that I have more work ahead of me as I battle my way to title contention. I will not rest. I am back in the gym on Monday and ready for my next move from my team,” said Tahdooahnippah. The professional boxing card was brought to you by HD Boxing.

Tommy McCarthy Turns Pro

Two-time Irish Elite champion Tommy McCarthy has turned professional with Berkeley Sports and Media of the UK and Green Blood of Philadelphia, who signed John Joe Nevin to the pro ranks last October.

The current AIBA World No 9. ranked heavyweight joins fellow Irish fighters Nevin, Anthony Cacace, Tyrone McKenna and Ray Ginley at the Anglo Irish American stable.

McCarthy, a bronze medal winner at the 2008 AIBA World Youths, reached the last-eight at the World Championships in Kazakhstan last October. Continue reading

Dominic Breazeale Makes Fox Sports 1 Debut

Indio, California (January 24, 2014) – Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale (8-0, 8 KO’s) will be returning to the ring tonight in an 8 round bout that will be televised live on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Deportes. GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Section Live and Two Fists Promotions are uniting again to bring an exciting night of boxing to Grand Rapids. Wintertime Warfare, February 22 at The DeltaPlex Arena, will be an evening filled with action featuring West Michigan athletes and their equally skilled opponents. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of National Cancer Prevention Month.
