Chavez Jr. is the best opponent that Martinez has ever faced.

RE: (JAJAJJAJA) I think that is the first time you will ever watch a SERGIO MARTINEZ fight….. Everyone is saying the same, but for Chavez Jr. as he has always confronted unrecognized boxers that came from nowhere.

I heard on the News by Chavez Jr. mouth that he was about to cancel the fight due that his feet is plain (jajajaja), the reality is that he’s scared and fortunately couldn’t cancel the fight as this is HBO and moves a lot of money that isn’t willing to loose just for a Chavez Jr. whim.

Chavez Jr. is used to cancel official fights due to supposed sickness and I’m so glad this WILL NOT be the case. I’m happy that finally he will confront a real boxer and what makes more happy is that he’s SERGIO MARTINEZ :)

Martinez has a true boxer’s heart and he doesn’t has to be Mexican to be such a great athlete. I’m proUdly Mexican from Culiacan and support SERGIO MARTINEZ not from his nationality which is my husbands too, but because of his quality as a boxer.

it was the 38-year-old and still prime(?) Martinez who ruled-out more stringent testing. consequently, well never know if it would’ve become a deal-breaker for Jr. like it has for Pacquiao*. IMO, i favor improved testing upon request. if neither fighter requests it? “Let’s Get It On!”

Just make sure the giant “middleweight” takes appropriate tests under appropriate conditions. Make sure he’s fighting legal. Then we’ll see what’s what.

Chavez Jr. is the best opponent that Martinez has ever faced. Jr’s. style will reacquaint Martinez with the stifling heat of a Mexican kitchen that compelled him to wilt v. Margarito. IMO, the primary intrigue will be Jr’s. reaction to Martinez’s punches. IF he doesn’t react(?!?) look for Martinez to start looking for a soft spot in the ring to take a seat and a 10-count.
