Well he is doing better is great but he tarnished his legacy, I think soiled it badly would be an appropriate word. At least he is on a better path now.

I wish him the best, but think it likely that his addiction problems will finish him early unless he really focuses on recovery

Mike was a beast early on but unachievable kinda guy.

Every time he stepped up at world level he got leveled, but a complete dynamic fighter at one time, last super star in the heavyweights.

And I sure don’t care about his life even if he fought well. Hi I’m Mike Tyson, I’m not a head case anymore do you want my autograph. I mean really, I’m just not interested. Guy was a headcase way to long and handled the last part of his career like he was a headcase so no thanks, not impressed overall. He had a good run because his trainer showed him the way, once cus stopped training him was all down hill.

I’m surprised people are still eager to meet tyson or hear his life story. Basically he could fight in his prime but he was not exactly a wonderful person outside of that, unstable. People have this fasination with anyone they think is a celebrity and I really don’t understand this. I mean when you start biting peoples ears off in the ring and are so unstable they have bring extra security in just in case you flip out like in the lennox fight you have lost me as a fan at that point.

Don King did Mike Tyson so wrong. But yes, his story is a good one and it is always good to see someone turn his life around. All this stuff of him being broke is only slightly true. Rich people broke is much different than middle class or lower class broke. When we are broke, it means we can’t do anything, when rich people are broke, it just means they can’t purchase that new million dollar home or they have a restaurant bill over a few hundred dollars. And yes his one man show was nice. Had me cracking up when he was talking about Mitch Green.

I hope Mike does well as a promoter.. But, he may just be too honest for his own good.

It’s really great seeing positive things and reading positive posts about Mike since the last time he was in the ring, it wasn’t ever good but only the evil things about him. I saw his one man show, I was impressed…. Over all I think he’s really trying to turn his life around and doing well at it..I was surprised when he told us in the audience that all money he makes from that goes to the IRS to pay off old debts… immediately I thought of Joe Lewis who has to do the same until he paid of his IRS debt. Very sad and Mike now, your an inspiration for many GOOOD LUCK and I enjoyed your show.…” The Language of the Ring “

Swedish Boxing Fan

Why did he cancelated his tour “The Undisputed truth”?

I had bought tickets to his show in Stockholm Sweden and Tyson was going to show in several places in Europe but he just cancelated it all.

Typical Tyson.

Great work Mike. Best wishes for your debut promotion. Look after your boxers best interests no matter how limited their skills and career may be. You are a legend and know what it takes to be a champion and if you are really focused, you can surpass Don King in the promotion arena.
