TARK WROTE: Ward’s comment on Kessler, “It was an easier fight than I expected. His defense was fairly easy to penetrate.”
Ward certainly had no problem getting thru Kessler’s defense with numerous headbutts – that’s for damn sure.

Killing Moon The Soothsayer

Kessler beat Bouadla rusty and without his usual precision… be honest it’s one of the worst figts i’ve seen him in….Despite that…. he humiliated Bouadla…..who were bouncing up and down from the floor…Since Bouadla has fought no-bodies since Kessler i see no reason for him to get a champ.fight…..There’s alot of talent in smw….surely you have to do something to get a title-shot…will have to say this fight…..

King Arthur will clearly win this one, but Bouadla showed himself to be a really tough foreward going brawler, against Kessler, whose hands were bloodied after the fight.

Regarding Pans comment: Kessler has three tough fights lined up, starting with Magee, then Froch and then Ward, the later two in Nottingham and The Us. Lets not forget that Kessler stalked Froch for 12 rounds and clearly won against the hyped Froch. So nobody is feeding the viking cans, in this lifetime. Kessler probably hits harder than ever, right now.

Otherwise I agree with the fact that AA is worthless, in Smw.

The Kingslayer

What a shock to see Saurland giving Abe such a tough defense……..I love boxing but man it’s so hard sometimes.

Boudla? He didn’t lay down and die for Kessler’s comeback, but who did this guy beat to deserve a title shot? Abraham going to fight Allan Green next?

The guy he is supposed to fight did not give a bad account of himself in his loss to Kessler, however this is why I have very little respect for Abraham, in that he is fighting someone who does not deserve such a title shot. Then again, his WBO belt is meaningless, as he lost pretty badly to both Ward and Froch, and only Ward should be considered a world champion.

I don’t believe in Champions having easy fights like this. The guy he is fighting is a little known, low ranking middleweight and its a joke. If you aren’t ready for the best, vacate the belt. Abraham did this before at 160, for a belt and took easy fights. He is not a worthy champion.

Maybe AA needs to get used to the more aggressive way of opening a fight, like Wegner says. Would make sense to get 2-3 easier fights to get the new machine runnin…..

I seen this coming, wins a belt now he will milk it as long as humanly possible.

About a Rodriguez fight that is.

Posted October 9, 2012 12:20 am

Right…. It doesn’t look like Abraham is going to be fighting Edwin Rodriguez anytime soon…does it??? No surprise that AA would cherry-pick this guy.. Let’s see what Pavlik has to say.

Its obvious he will not be taking on any real contenders after his showing in the super 6 and he is either to big now or just does not want to work as hard to get back to 160

Abe looked awful against Stieglitz, Saurlands will milk him now until they put him in with Kessler. Then they will milk Kessler against cans like they did with Abe.

Abraham has proven many times, hes willing to take on the best, just look at his resume. If anyone is allowed a fight like this its Abraham.
