after people have splashed out for May 31 and have sp8nked their dough on buying beers for the England World Cup campaign, I wonder how many people will actually pay for this fight? It is not a fight that sets my pulse racing.

Mick the Marmalizer

Off subject: What’s this I hear that a fight between Evander Holyfield & Gary Cornish is in the making?

Posted March 19, 2014 4:31 am

The European tag is really just a ploy to try and UP the fight.
Shame David Haye lost the desire last year, as he would have Koed Fury and this rematch would not be happening, except for maybe the British title.

Stupid stupid fight

Fury wins again. Chisora, although putting some wins together is neither hard hitting or fast enough.

Fight Aficionado

I expect another good fight, maybe better than the first one if both guys show up in shape. It’s ironic that Fury was the one who showed up fat in their recent tuneups.

When Leapai crushes Wlad with a monster upper cut you will see an all Australian HW title fight Leapai vs Browne.

Posted March 18, 2014 7:22 pm

Wilder vs. wlad or Fury vs Wlad would be by far the two biggest HW fights.

Detroitko…..Clearly your not a boxing fan

The opening six words did it for me “The heavyweight fight of the year”….A mist descended over my eyes,I suddenly realized they were serious ……

Certainly a fight between Klitschko and Wilder would be a fight that I thilnk could develop big box office, even in the United States. I do not know how many know of Wilder here, as the heavyweight scene as been never this low in the United States in probably 150 years or so, which means lowest ever perhaps. It would be very intriguing. Certainly though a victor of the Fury Chsora rematch would also make for interesting box office against Wlad. It is certainly more interesting than Wlad’s next contest against Leapai. Pulev might be better than the three fighters I have mentioned here, but I don’t think a fight with Wlad will develop the same interest world wide.

YE WEAK FIGHT! the only real fight right now is klitschko vs wilder.

Posted March 18, 2014 3:28 pm

i thought these two clowns have already fought each other.

Posted March 18, 2014 3:15 pm

Anonymous says, “Keep the HW circus rolling.” As opposed to what? These two NOT fighting each other and Wlad “defending” against a Pianeta or Mormeck once every two years?

Posted March 18, 2014 3:03 pm

Surpised Pulev walked away because this fight not only gets the euro belt but lines up a world shot.Pulev didnt look to great in his last two fights, prehaps that had something to do with it.But Chisora-Fury 2 isnt a bad fight,Chisora been busy and looks abit better overall lately and Fury hasnt been as active because of the Haye pull outs. But Im still thinking Fury wins this in a tougher fight then the first one. Then Fury will lose to W.K. ofcourse, but Fury still being very young this will be okay he will learn from it and be abit more humble from this.

Ray Ray

I’ll go Fury 4 the win…Chisora no he can’t beat Wlad so his hunger & desire will b far less than that of Fury…than fury should get spanked by any good champ.

Posted March 18, 2014 2:22 pm

Fury by stoppage then to fight wlad join
the que look how long pulev has waited
Fury wont get fighr this year and next year maybe at the end?

Tyson fury is a very talented ice sculpter, I seen some of his work in Greenland very impressive.

keep the hw circus rolling.

european title is nearly as bigger joke as these two.

Posted March 18, 2014 12:02 pm

There’ll be no warm-up fight for Fury in April as originally planed. There was a possibility Fury would fight a tune-up against Carlos Takam 29-1-1. Unfortunately that’s been cancelled, however Takham will spar with Fury instead. Peter Fury says he’s not worried about the lack of a warm-up bout; Tyson knows what he has to do to beat Chisora.

Who ever wins will vacate it after anyway for a world title shot. Its not a nothing title though as said below

Posted March 18, 2014 10:18 am

titles mean nothing in this fight…it about the bigger picture.

Posted March 18, 2014 10:16 am

boxing barlow

Alphabet titles are worth very little, a European title even less. The euro title makes no difference to this fight or its importance.
