Which is a shame, because he is alot better than he is ever given credit for .

Still, his time will come and alot sooner than people expect.

Only Mum.

Something tells me Dad (Salmondogfishcat) actually doesn’t rate DeGale…

Anyway, if DeGale gets to fight Bika next then he gets a World Title, and assuming Groves can beat Froch this time, then a rematch is on the cards.

James DeGale

Thanks Mum! Thanks Dad!

…. oh, sorry, I meant:

Thanks Rustybucket! Thanks SalmonDogFishCat

DeGale is actually very good, the problem is (which is pretty obvious), is that he has high expections and confidence, but is being poorly matched.
Give him some ‘names’ to fight and he’ll stay more focused and ‘shine’ more in his fights.

Personally, I believe he has all the ability needed to beat all the super middlweights, except for Ward right now.

you really mean he”s a total joke.

Just shows that Degale isn’t very good.

@ boxtradamus – wow you’re a genius. Imagine predicting a 1/3 favourite would win? How did you manage that?! How could you see that a heavy odds on favourite would win? Jackass.

@Boxtradamus

You mean you *would* be sad if you predicted a fight wrongly? Excuse me for saying so, but that itself is sad.

But hey, you might be a nice fellow, despite the fact that you keep posting about how great you are at predicting the outcomes of fights *after* they’ve happened, and that YOU use capital LETTERS in way that is very SILLY.

Some fights, like this one, are very highly predictable, and telling us *retrospectively* that you correctly predicted such and such a fight is really not impressive. (I predicted the round in which Buster Douglas would KO Tyson, and the round in which Marquez would KO Pacquiao. Do you believe me? No, and nor should you.)

So, let’s get your predictions for some upcoming fights. What will be the outcome of the fights below?

Kovalev vs Agnew? We all know Kovalev will KO Agnew, and very likely in the early rounds, so this is not so difficult. But since you’re the greatest fight prophet ever, which round will it be in?

Pacquiao vs Bradley? This is bound to be a close fight, but who wins, and via UD, SD or MD?

Groves vs Froch. This is more difficult. Please, let us know the outcome, oh great and prescient one.

Martin-Nope. I’m a HAPPY HAPPY MAN!!! Because I was CORRECT yet again! !!!

Unless the WBC swing it for a Mexican to fight Bika then Degale has to be the mandatory #1! So let’s see some action! Obviously Ward, Froch & Groves are top $’s @168Lb, but this fight needs to happen. Another super 6 could work well if Ward could be shoe horned out of the USA!!………

Fight Aficionado

DeGale faced nothing but no-hopers since Groves schooled him. One loss — in which most had predicted he’d win — turned him into a scared prospect for years to come.

top ten *at* 168, even

@Boxtradamus

No you’re not. You are just one very sad, sad individual.

Martin

To me DeGale was not impressive at all — not for someone who is ranked in the top ten as 168 and thinks he is better than Froch and Groves (he recently said Froch is shot and should retire!).

He was up against a guy ranked about 88th in the division with a 38% KO record. It should have been an opportunity for him to showcase his talent. However, not only did he take a whole lot of punches, but Khatchikian even had him badly hurt in the seventh. Not very promising at all from DeGale. If Khatchikian hurt him, Abraham will stop him.

DeGale WON just as I predicted! !!! I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born! !!!!!!

DeGale looked much improved since his op,but he still has a bad habit of switching off and getting hit too much,i think DeGale has more natural talent than either Froch or Groves, but on that performance both would beat him.I think he should get a world class trainer,a he still has plenty to learn.I think James would have a 50/50fight with Eubanks Jr.

degale d level and a complete hype job.

Kareem Abdul-Jabaar

If DeGale becomes world champion, then I am afraid that the guys that hold the titles at the moment must be terrible.I was at the fight last night, and Degale is so boring its untrue,Chavez jr, Groves,Froch Martinez, Martin Murray would all beat James.

Rustybucket

This was a very credible opponent, contary to the report.

The fight also answered a lot of questions about Degale, who is without doubt a future World Champion in the making.
