GGG is the real deal make no mistake about it he crushed MACKLIN to hell and the scary thing about it is that he did it with ease! when SM fought MACKLIN he has his problems with him. SO when ever SM comes back he must fight this guy and I think that GGG walks right through him I do not think that SM will be able to punch hard enough to keep this guy at bay.
Based on the KO of MACKLIN he has proven that he is the best MW right now and if the promoters want to protect their fighters and put him in the rign with GGG then he should go to 168 and fight FROCH that will be a good fight. WHether or not he beats him will there is only one way to find out and by chance if GGG beats FROCH then what would the GGG haters will say then??
ANother point GGG said that he will fight anyone from 154 to 168 do you think FLOYD will get in the ring with him at 154? Is FLOYD is that good then fight GGG there are no more fights for FLOYD this would aslo be a good fight from a standpoint can FLOYD run from this guy for 12 rounds? Can FLOYD take GGG punch even if GGG loses I would pay to see it.Posted July 26, 2013 2:46 pm
Yo woop poop u have no knowledge of boxing just hate . U want golovkin to lose , but if he beats everybody from middleweight to super middleweight , u might just stop watching boxing . Do ur self a favor quit now because u sound retarted . Golovkin is no joke , what he does in boxing is rare and very raw .Posted July 5, 2013 5:04 am
@ Woop Woop — Macklin dropped Martinez, who was at least top 5 PfP at the time, and was very competitive in that fight until he was stopped in the 11th. That takes skills and heart. So for GGG to blow this guy out in the less than 3 is saying something. If that doesn’t convince you, I suggest next time you actually watch GGG fight — if you know anything about boxing, GGG’s skills will be very evident to you.Posted July 4, 2013 9:50 pm
Anyone would look good against a guy who was damaged goods and made a name for being KOéd by Martinez. ALL HYPE!!!!!!Posted July 4, 2013 8:49 pm
sergio had better duck this guyPosted July 4, 2013 7:44 pm
Largo, I know we have to wait and see, I am just posting my opinion is all. He looks to be the goods at the moment. I am not big on ameteur records so that is why I don’t talk about that and when other folks do I point out that there have been many great amateurs out there but failed at the pro ranks. A good example is Mark Breland. Now he didn’t fail but he certainly didn’t meet up to what his amateur career was.Posted July 4, 2013 7:12 pm
Tark, I believe he will run 160 for as long as he wants, but once he steps to 168 that will be a different game. He will have to prove himself again up there especially with Froch, Kessler (if he is still fighting), Arthur – I just would like to see what he does against someone who defends like Wright, and of course the champ Ward.Posted July 4, 2013 6:05 pm
“At the momentum, (moment) I have Golovkin, as the favorite in those potential bouts.”
How about overwhelming favorite?
GGG will murder Martinez, kill Quillin, and gut Geale… Then on to Ward.Posted July 4, 2013 3:22 pm
They are still out there. But I am definitely a believerPosted July 4, 2013 12:50 pm
