First of all, he’s not a 2-time Olympic GOLD medalist. He won a Bronze in 2004. Gold in 2008. Never-the-less this isn’t a matchup, it’s a murder plot. Valenzuela’s won just 2 out of all 5 bouts, with just nine amateur fights. He’s been KO’d, and in his last fight against an opponent with a 1-11 record, all he could do was get a draw. This poor kid’s going to get killed in China.

Nothing against Zou Shiming, he’s a welcome Chinese addition to professional boxing; it’ll be interesting to see what he can do. However, it seems a little strange that the media establishment can televise this fight all the way from Macao and can’t show the Wilder-Harrison bout from the UK.
