Alvarez is not much taller and bigger than Pacquiao. He brings a lot of viewers to the show. This would be a mega fight that will give the boxing world a buzz. This will be a can’t miss fight. Who’s Algieri? Forget him.

i think pacquiao should fight saul alvarez next. there is enough time for alvarez to recuperate after the lopez fight which i see him winning by UD. weight should be 150 lbs since pacquiao is the bigger draw. pacquiao himself said the worst punishment he’s had to take was during the margarito fight. so going beyond 150 is just to much for pacquiao’s small but powerful body frame.

Supreme tennis court…In the entire history of boxing there has never been a court that knows nothing about boxing and is consistently always wrong…Where is your DNA like evidence…Is it the same DNA you failed to produce after endlessly shouting Pacq in his entire career has never fought a fellow belt-holder,another almighty unsubstantiated ream of nonsense…Which even being offered 10000 to 5000 bet you turned tail and ran and has not mentioned it since….You are the biggest fraud you wimped out of getting an easy 5 grand…

The Highest Court has been stating that Pacquiao is the biggest fraud in boxing history! – haha going crazy about boxing?pathetic

Rick Hatton isn’t a southpaw, dude…also Floyd fought him when he was undefeated and knocked him out for the first time. Pacquiao has NEVER knocked anyone out for the first time except maybe some scrubs in Thailand. Pacquiao’s power is majorly overrated.

Realtalk i honestly do believe they have a unofficial agreement to fight in 2013. Both camps seem to have toned down the insults and accusations and i notice a somber reaction when either Floyd or Arum r asked about the fight.

Posted September 1, 2012 1:59 pm

What crazy articles Arum has been forced to consider JMM and that does not mean JMZm will accept lol Arum is acting like he says jump and fights rush in. Those days are gone and PAC may be the one left in the rain.

Rem why don’t he fight may bow! This is a sad choice of! Always said manny needs to get ride of roach and arum they messed up his name hardcore

And what “A level southpaw” did Pacquiao ever fight? David Diaz at 135? He was the weakest link in a division Pacquiao ducked on his way to welter. Mayweather beat Zab Judah when he was still in his prime and beat the undefeated Victor Ortiz in only four rounds. Other than Diaz Pacquiao’s second most recent fight against a southpaw was a draw against Agapito S├ínchez who already had NINE losses at the time! I guess Pacquiao didn’t have his PEDs connection yet…So let’s see Mayweather fights highly rated, prime and even undefeated southpaws while Pacquiao fights two dudes with a bunch of losses and has to take a gift draw against one of them!

Fu&k the judges decision, everybody knows who won…last fight with Marquez could have gone either way

Posted September 1, 2012 11:21 am

Meanwhile Floyd avoids A level southpaws at all cost.

Posted September 1, 2012 11:20 am

Marquez is the right fight…Bradley was clearly beat.

Posted September 1, 2012 11:19 am

What a great champ Pac is. He could easily take the rematch with Bradley demolish him with a blindfold on and one hand behind his back and wait for Floyd early next year but no hes putting it on the line and taking on his risky nemesis yet again. Gotta love the Pacman.

Blah, blah, blah.

The Kingslayer

I hope and pray Manny decides not to fight this year and chooses to wait for Mayweather.

Supreme Court

Why are you whining now?
It’s been 3 years The Highest Court has been stating that Pacquiao is the biggest fraud in boxing history!
And there you have another DNA-like evidence!
In the entire boxing history, there has never been a champion who “controversially” lost his belt, then refused to avenge the loss despite a rematch clause….Where are the Caraboupinos now? Where is T-bone? Where is Kid Blast?
The Highest Court is ALWAYS right!!!!

Seems to me Arum is the one playing Pacquiao. Eventually, Pacquiao will “pick” the option Arum had planned all along. Pacquiao is fantastic entertainment but gullible. Child’s play for the sleazy Arum.

Exiled Yank

Screw the PPV numbers. If MP has a real champion’s heart he’ll rematch Bradley on principle alone. We all know MP won, but he should make it official and beat him solidly in a rematch.

Exiled Yank

Fight FM. He just got out of prison and who knows what that may have done to him. I didn’t think it would do much to him, but he acted like a little twat the whole sentence, so who knows how it may have affected him mentally.

Posted September 1, 2012 9:45 am

And don’t forget, folks, Arum has Bradley by his balls too.

Posted September 1, 2012 9:35 am

If Pacquiao has been doing all the “choosing” over the past three years as Arum has claimed he has, it should be clear to everyone that Pacquiao no longer fights as a champion, just as an attraction. Let’s be honest with ourselves boxing fans: PACQUIAO IS NOT A CHAMPION! And he won’t win his title back! He’ll fight Marquez for money but he won’t fight Bradley because he’s afraid to be embarassed if Bradley beats him again, and retains his title. Screw Pacquiao. He won’t fight the best, so screw him.

Who gives a crap

Posted September 1, 2012 8:59 am

Who cares he is off the boil now and he bottled it from Money and will always be best known for that.

Posted September 1, 2012 8:59 am

Awesome Arum! Lets celebrate more of your in-house money fights that you’ll sell the the public as the “best viable option for the sport of boxing” just so you can milk another pretty penny for your old self on a yacht.

Posted September 1, 2012 8:07 am

So Pac might decide today who he’s gonna fight next?! Do he and Top Rank think that my life has been put on hold till such a monumental decision has been made and I’m fully aware of Pac’s choice?!! I’m sick of this BS!! There should only be one choice. Pac lost a controversial decision to Bradley and has the oppotunity to rectify it but what happens? . .he and Top Rank instead base their choice who will bring in the most revenue for themselves. I find it hard to believe that many self-respecting boxers would not re-match the guy who just beat them simply because they’re not gonna make quite enough millions!! They aren’t even keeping this s**t quiet and this is one of the reasons boxing struggles with its reputation. All 3 Pac/Marquez fights have been close and competative and there’s no reason to think no.4 will be any different so why ask me to pay for something I’ve already seen 3 times?!

Fighting Marquez again?! Sure, they were close fights but the last one was pretty boring. It’ll just be another close fight that gets scored for Pacquiao. I don’t think anyone needs to pay 50 bucks to see that again.
