Unbeaten WIBF/WBA world champion Susi Kentikian will feature in the first “ProSieben Fight Night” after the summer break which will take place on August 29th at the Burg-Wächter Castello in Düsseldorf. The “Killer Queen” will meet Hagar Finer of Israel. The event will kick off at 6:30 pm with the live TV broadcast on ProSieben at 10:30 pm..
At ringside commentating will be Regina Halmich and Jan Stecker.
Hagar Finer, who is from Tel Aviv, is known in her homeland as the first boxing lady. As a professional she has fought 26 fights (16 victories – 4 by KO, 6 defeats, 3 draws, 1 No-Contest) and is to be known to the German boxing fans. In her most important fight of her career she came face to face with former record world champion Regina Halmich on her farewell fight in Karlsruhe in November 2007. Alongside Regina Halmich she had been in the ring with two more Universum fighters including Julia Sahin and Alesia Graf whom she all took over the distance of 10 rounds before losing on points. und ging mit allen drei Universum-Boxerinnen über die volle Distanz von zehn Runden. Finer is also known as a very ambitious athlete with lots of fighting spirit, which was displayed in her last fights when she appeared very self-confidence and celebrated and pushed herself herself during the breaks.
Susi Kentikian unbeaten in her 21 fights and is known for ending fights early: “We know Hagar Finer well. She boxed against Regina Halmich in her farewell fight – and also Alesia Graf and Julia Sahin didn’t have it easy with her – and during the last two years she has clearly improved. After two quick knockouts I was lucky to have a longer break that has allowed me to recover properly. Now I’m hot for for this next fight,” she concluded. The 20-year-old world champion was in Argentina last week to accept the WBA’s “Female Champion of the Year” award.
The card will also feature the spotlight fighters Sebastian Zbik, a world rated middleweight and WBO Interconti champion and EU super featherweight champ Vitali Tajbert. Their opponents as well as others bouts will be announced within the next weeks.
