Fonfara vs. Eberto Medina in Cicero Friday Night

(CHICAGO, November 27, 2006) Exciting prospect Andrzej Fonfara returns to Cicero Stadium this Friday night to take on Eberto Medina, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions. The five round welterweight bout is part of DECEMBER FRENZY, a nine bout evening of world class professional boxing, presented by 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank..

Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

Fonfara, 4-0 (1KO), a native of Warsaw , Poland has quickly established himself as an electrifying performer in his first four professional bouts this year. Only 19 years old, Fonfara has displayed a full array of boxing skills to accompany his fast hands.

The 23 year old Medina, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania enters the ring with a record of 1-1 (1KO).

The weigh in for this event will be held at on Thursday, November 30th at 7pm at Club Aquarius, 2459 N. Pulaski on the northwest side of Chicago.
