[New York] April 19, 2006 – SportsNet New York (SNY), the television home of the New York Mets and New York Jets, today announced a landmark agreement with DiBella Entertainment, a full-service sports and entertainment company and New York’s leading professional boxing promoter, to televise Broadway Boxing Presented by Turning Stone Resort and Casino.. Broadway Boxing will air on the second Sunday following live Broadway Boxing events beginning with the April 20th event – and feature matches from venues in the five boroughs and the greater New York Metropolitan Tri-State area. Bob Papa will serve as the play-by-play announcer for the April 20th event, along with Steve Farhood and Brian Adams serving as the color commentators. The announcement was made by Jon Litner, President of SportsNet New York and Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment.
