01.12.05 – The ExCeL London, which will stage the big Commonwealth Heavyweight Title showdown between Danny Williams and Audley Harrison on Saturday 10 December, is now SOLD OUT. Billed as the biggest all-British heavyweight clash since Lennox Lewis v Frank Bruno over a decade ago, a sell-out crowd will create an electricity-charged atmosphere to witness an all-out war between bitter rivals Williams and Harrison.
Special attraction on the big-fight card will see the Olympic Silver Medallist Amir Khan make his highly anticipated London professional debut along with Kevin ‘Mighty’ Mitchell challenging for the first title in his career. Further title action on the show features the British Heavyweight title between Matt Skelton and John McDermott and the Vacant English Welterweight Championship between Ross Minter and Brett James.
The only way to watch the fight now is live on prime-time ITV1 – who are expecting massive viewing figures as it follows hit shows Record of the Year and X-Factor – from 8.55pm to 10.10pm with presenters Jim Rosenthal and Barry McGuigan plus expert commentary from John Rawling and Duke McKenzie with reports from Gabriel Clarke.
The action will switch to ITV4 from 10.30pm for a further two-hours of big-fights from the undercard.
Viewers in America can also join in on the action as the fight will be broadcast live on Pay Per View ($19.95) at 3.00pm EST via cable systems from TVN and MediaZone and from satellite providers DirecTV & Dish Network.
Promoter Frank Warren is delighted with the response towards the show and is looking forward to 2006 with more great fights in the pipeline.

“We still have an over-whelming demand for more tickets up until now but the unlucky fans who missed out on purchasing them can still watch the big-fight live on ITV”
