22.06.05 – Lightweight Rustam Nugaev of Los Angeles meets Martin Sanchez of Mexico City in the 10-round main event on the nationally and internationally televised “Guilty Fight Night Boxeo de Campeones” card promoted by Guilty Boxing Friday, July 1, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. The 22-year-old Nugaev, originally from Russia, has a record of 13-4 with five knockouts..

The 26-year-old Sanchez has a record of 13-8 with 10 knockouts and his past seven wins have come by KO.

Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are seen domestically on America One, Comcast Sports Chicago, DirecTV, Dish Network and The Urban Network; in Europe, Africa and middle eastern countries on Fox Sports International; in Europe and Africa on BEN Television; in the Caribbean on WCVI Super Station; and in Japan.

This is another in the ongoing series of “Guilty Fight Night” cards. The innovative Guilty Boxing series was launched last May and has presented cards in Arizona, California, Connecticut and Mexico as well as Las Vegas.

Six-round bouts on the Guilty Boxing card include: cruiserweight Joseph Gusman (6-0, 3 KOs) of Las Vegas against Newton Kidd (5-3-1, 3 KOs) of Bronx, N.Y.; middleweight Jamar Nolan (13-0, 8 KOs) of Detroit against Charden-Juvet Ansoula Mayola (12-6-1, 6 KOs) of Las Vegas; and flyweight Anthony Villareal (1-1, 1 KO) of Riverside, Calif., against Leonardo Castillo (1-4-1, 1 KO) of Los Angeles.

A four-round bout on the Guilty Boxing card features super lightweight Nate Vasquez (1-0, 0 KOs) of Las Vegas against Jose Cardona (1-0, 1 KO) of New York City.

A women’s fight features Women’s International Boxing Association flyweight champion Melinda Cooper (15-0, 9 KOs) of Las Vegas against Susana Morales (4-2-1, 0 KOs) of Mexico City in a six-round super flyweight bout.

The Guilty Boxing card starts at 7 p.m. (Pacific).

Commentators for Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are “The Colonel” Bob Sheridan and Benny Ricardo. Sheridan, a Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, has worked almost 800 world championship bouts on six continents during a career that has spanned more than three decades. Ricardo, for 11 years a place kicker on four NFL teams, also is a veteran announcer and has covered the biggest events in the sports world, ranging from Super Bowls to World Cups.
