Will the winner of Manny “Pac man” Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38KO) vs Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, Jr. (33-1-1, 13K0) fight at the MGM Grand, Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV also determine which trainer is best? It might, at least for one fight. The previous years are a little cloudy on Atlas’ side of the ledger. Who has Teddy trained besides Michael Moore, Barry McGuigan (one fight), and Donny Lalonde to 8-0 before Donny dumped him? Teddy trained Alexander Povetkin for a fight with Ruslan Chagsev. Povetkin earned a UD, but his relationship with Teddy fell apart and the two parted ways.
Bored from waiting, and waiting, and waiting for something to be announced regarding the Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko rematch? If so, Peter Fury’s recent Tweet might help you. The trainer and uncle of the reigning heavyweight champion wrote the following on social media a few hours ago:
“Some big news coming imminently on @Tyson_Fury @Klitschko venue/date/country. Expect announcements in next 24/48 hours!!”
There have always been debatable decisions in boxing and there will continue to be so. Yet when it comes to picking one fight that is sure to cause a very passionate debate on the subject of who should have been awarded the judges’ decision, there is one fight that is the big daddy of them all: Sugar Ray Leonard’s 12-round split decision victory over reigning and defending middleweight king Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

The boxing world (usually) moves fast, and though hugely hyped British heavyweight star Anthony Joshua has yet to defeat reigning and defending IBF champion Charles Martin in what is being looked at as his first real test as a pro, his promoter Eddie Hearn is already being asked questions about who Joshua will fight next.
Due to one fight and any progress with regards to its official announcement being very much on the slow side – the Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko return – Hearn has told Sky Sports how Fury might take another fight instead – one against Joshua. Hearn, like the rest of us, is wondering what is going on with Fury-Klitschko II, and he suggests the fight might fall though. If this is the case, Hearn said today, “don’t rule out Fury against A.J in the summer.”
Eddie Chambers of Philadelphia has been waiting, and waiting, for a significant fight for a number of months. The wait is over, as the Peter Fury-trained heavyweight contender will face unbeaten heavyweight prospect Gerald Washington in the coming weeks (according to ESPN.com’s Dan Rafael, the fight was originally set to go on the under-card of the April 30th rematch between Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz, but will now take place as part of another PBC card).
Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is sceptical about Manny Pacquiao hanging up his gloves following his rubber match with Timothy Bradley this weekend.
The Filipino superstar is tipped to call it a day and bring to an end a glittering fight career after his decisive showdown with American rival Bradley, live and exclusive on Premier Sports.
