Price trainer Coldwell: “If not [Joshua next] we’ll fight Joseph Parker in order to get the opportunity”

David Price really wants a shot at IBF heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua – the man he revealed last week he flattened in sparring many moons ago. Price, under new trainer Dave Coldwell, is finally finding his “nasty side,” according to the trainer who spoke with Sky Sports today. Coldwell says Price is “fed up of being ridiculed and written off,” and now has “the devil in him” as he trains and looks for his next fight.

Coldwell says Price will fight like the huge puncher he is from now on; so it’s goodbye, nice guy, hello merciless puncher. At least that’s what Coldwell says, and he is “loving it.”

Tony Bellew says he is ready to show BJ Flores “why I’m the best cruiserweight in the world”

Monday at Riocentro Pavilion 6 saw the second Olympic Boxing Final of Rio 2016, with Russian World Champion Evgeny Tishchenko and Kazakhstan’s Vassily Levit going for gold. It was Levit who started the brightest, edging the first round with some superb attacking combinations, but Tishchenko’s longer reach always looked a threat. A strong final round from the Russian proved decisive, and Tishchenko’s arm was raised to the delight of his corner and the hundreds of Russian fans in the arena.

Tyson Fury says he’s resumed full training, wants Klitschko in October, Joshua in March, Wilder in the summer

Tyson Fury took time out to celebrate his 28th birthday over the weekend but he assures his fans he is back in full training this week. Fury, who has been driving around in a limo with the date (Oct. 29) and venue (Manchester ) of his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko emblazoned on the side, took to Twitter to list his goals for the coming months.

“This year Oct bitch Wlad. March 2017 weightlifter AJ. Summer 2017 hollow Wilder, let’s make this happen, let’s dance pussys,” Fury wrote late last night.
