Nothing new, Mayweather just handpicked again an opponent who he can beat easily to maintain his deceiving record.

As usual, Mayweather is still trying to avoid Manny Pacquiao because he knows figthing him will end his carrer and be humiliated and exposed the real Mayweather to the boxing world..

Old Coot )))))i i agree with you it was at welterweight that mayweather started the ducking .And it wasnt just a prime pacquia , who maybe was on the juice . But lets not forget paul williams, margarito, clotty even a pre koed cotto which uslly softens a fighter up. Some how when all of these guys were going good and they were hard fights mayweather avoided them . Instead in between retirements he fought small ricky hatton not a real welter. and a small older marquez. who was a small aging fighter . who had not yet discovered angel hernadez as his strength coach

Happy Boy…. I used the wrong term when I said floyd beat his wife. Instead of of saying he beat his babies momma . Which she is .I was trying to stay away from ghetto slang .But sticking to boxing I still say Mayweather picked the easiest opponent of the three. Between Trout, Alvarez ,and Guerrero which doesnt surprise me at all. And im not trying to take any thing awy from guerrero because I do admire the guy

If thats what YOU saw, how was it so extremely easy for KING May to “outwork, out-fight, outland AND outpunch” Castillo in their rematch!!?? Your HATE is just as easily detected towards Mayweather, so I’ll leave you to wallow in your HATE. I hope it doesnt affect your health…..peace out hater.

Some haters have gone on to suggest that the real crowd puller and main event is Canelo vs Trout, let me enlighten you to the fact that Floyd holds both #1 & #2 most PPV sold by a non heavyweight fighter, thats with ODH( Mexican-American who holds a spot in PR) and Cotto from PR. Canelo has never headed a PPV event nevermind pull big numbers so get your facts right even Oscar and Cotto never pulled such big numbers before the common factor is Floyd ” Money” Mayweather …

WHATS THAT got to do with this up and coming fight ..? nothing thats what junior is fighting a lightweight at best and the fight thats CREATING the most INTEREST amongst REAL fight fans is Austin Trout VS CANELO thats got nothing to do with HATING ……………..

Guerrero seems a bit desperate in his bid to beat Mayweather. Using his version of religion and a certain “cause” is what seems to give him security in this upcoming fight. Relying on Mayweather losing a step is what also seems to drive his confidence. Guerrero should prepare for the BEST possible Mayweather out there; not the anticipated watered down version! No one thinks that Mayweather is unbeatable, like Guerrero says. Many viewers in the boxing public actually tune in to see him lose. The thing is, no one has actually out-worked, out-slicked nor out-strategized the man. A smart, perfect, dedicated game-plan should be in order – not wishful thinking that automatically assumes youre gonna win because you have a higher moral cause against a faded champ. Mayweathers DEDICATION, CONFIDENCE, WORK ETHIC, DRIVE – with the exception of some nagging flaws in his character, to me, is still worthy of a GREAT EXAMPLE for average folk and kids to build on. A WORLD CLASS CHAMP is doing his thing, and for that he should be respected. Mayweather always gives props to a Higher Authority, so Guerrero better focus on an even playing field, not expecting anything GIVEN to him because of what he went thru in his personal life….lets not get arrogant…..nor desperate…

The Floyd haters have comeback again to bash another Floyd Mayweather fight. How unsurprising.

Pug Fan, your Internet assertions about a recent KO victim stopping Floyd are laughable… I’m a huge Manny fan, but he’s been BADLY figured out by a guy that Mayweather borderline molested, PAC Man has NOT TKoed anyone in 3 years, he is not going to ressurect that streak against one of the Greatest defensive fighters in history Marquez called his defense “incredible”…. Manny will look like a better version of Gavin Ree’s against Broner at this point… Floyd is the WORST style matchup for the Great Pacquaio…

Posted February 22, 2013 11:06 pm

I wonder what kind of chance anyone gave Buster Douglas of KTFO”N TYson?? Or a 7 fight pro Leon Spinks beating ALI?? Or How bout Glen Johnsons distruction of the GREAT ROY JONES JR?? Maywearther is fighting more than father time in the twilight of his career, he’s fighting boxing history….Those that don’t think so?? I ask the question, what makes Floyd any different then all the ATG’s before him…Robinson, Leonard, Ali, hagler Hearns,???

Posted February 22, 2013 11:03 pm

Guerrero will make Floyd work much harder then he wants to. he will get inside and work the body.he has a much better work rate then Floyd.

Posted February 22, 2013 9:24 pm

i was away from my computer for a while. i know Toney tkoed Nunn. Just like Manny would tko Floyd . Floyd may be able to toy with Paquiao for a while, untill Paquiao catches him with a few good shots. then the corse of the fight would change in favor of Paquiao with Floyd running for his life, and trying to protect his face from the damaging blows that would break the bones in Floyds face.

I admire the ghost also . seems like a good guy . stuck . with his wife when she was sick. while floyd beat his wife. but otta of 3 opponents alvarez trout and guerro. mayweather picked the smallest and easiest guy to beat with least strength of the 3 in guerrero . did you expect any thing diffent from floyd I didnt . and dont forget the ref will not let guerrero get away with the tactic he used on berto so floyd seems to have all the advantage when he chose guerrrero

Posted February 22, 2013 8:33 pm

Marquez has always been better than Pacroidl but not because some stupid rankings say so lol, skill.Robinson is remembered for those who he beat & floyd for those he didn’t fight simple(Barrera,Morales,Casamayor,Forest,Williams,Pac,Sergio ect).10 h.of.s is better than 10 world champs,Fact.Keep dreaming kid floyd isn’t half of what Sugar ever was.

I like the ghost though his not a pound 4 pound anything i really feel that ranking (method ) is invalid anyway people like boxtra go on about it like its a religion or something i feel it really distracts from true ranking or methods of ranking but thats just me maybe ? the ghost last 6 opponents Andre Berto / Selcuk Aydin / Michael Katsidis / Vicente Escobedo / Joel Casamayor / Roberto David Arrieta / with only Roberts last 2 fights at 166, pound 4 pound number 10 …..who knows is he the best opponent for the junior mayweather nO though like i said the ghost is a good guy and i wish him all the best the fight on this card that will be generating ALL the interest amongst FULLTImE boxing FANS is Austin Trout VS CAnelo ….pound 4 pound or nO pound d 4 pound ranking …….

Like I SAID before go take a COUNTING class…Gatti was a CHAMP, Judah was a CHAMP, Baldomir was a CHAMP, De la Hoya was a CHAMP, Hatton was a CHAMP, Marquez was a CHAMP, Mosley was a CHAMP, Ortiz was a CHAMP, and Cotto was CHAMP. That’s 9 CHAMPS in his last 10 Fights. WOW!!…I know. I know. That’s UNBELIEVABLE!! That’s why YOU don’t believe it! Don’t feel bad! I can’t believe it EITHER!!

Posted February 22, 2013 8:06 pm

“Robinson Won more fights than Floyd Sr, Jr, Uncle Roger combined”- SO what? Defeating more NON Top 10 in the World Fighters than the ENTIRE Mayweather family is impressive to YOU but not ME….Floyd isn’t NON Top 10 SO what Robinson DID vs NON Top 10 Fighters is irrelevant HERE. The FACT remains that Robinson has LOST to LESSER Fighters than Floyd but Floyd has NEVER LOST to a Fighter who was LESSER than Robinson. SO Floyd holds the edge in that department.

“These mythical p4p rankings are bs lol, anybody who trys to make an argument based
on fake bought off rankings alone are weak.”- Yup thats what Pacquiao thought. Until he faced #5 P4P rated Marquez and got out Boxed and then knocked out.

These mythical p4p rankings are bs lol, anybody who trys to make an argument based on fake bought off rankings alone are weak.We all know guerrero/broner p4p rankings were handed to them by GB the ring which has lost most if not all of it’s credibility by now. People act like floyd Fought prime Oscar/mosely Marquez was 37 yrs 135lb ,& a Battered cotto who Trout exposed further.

When it comes to facing a consistent HIGH level of opposition Floyd is the GOAT. And he’s also the GOAT when it comes to Boxing SKILLS. After Guerrero and Canelo get schooled and SPANKED resectively, Martinez is NEXT. NO one can beat Floyd from MW down.

Posted February 22, 2013 7:03 pm

YOU may not be able to compare modern day accomplishments to those before the mid 80’s but I CAN. NO ONE in the ENTIRE History of Boxing has faced or beat 4 of the Top 10 Fighters in the World within 6 consecutive Fights. Thats called comparing APPLES to APPLES.

Posted February 22, 2013 6:49 pm

Nope. Floyd has already SURPASSED Roy Jones. Roy got knocked out by the #10 P4P Fighter in the World at 35 yrs old. Floyd is about to become 36 and hasn’t been knocked out yet. Also Hopkins and Toney were the only Top 10 P4P Fighters Roy beat in his LIFE. Floyd is about to face his 4th Top 10 P4P opponent in his last 6 Fights. WOW.

You can’t compare modern accomplishments to those before the mid 80s. They have added more titles & more divisions. A lot of the guys that have titles now would have been contenders back then. Fantasy P4P rankings didn’t exist then either. Back then THE Title was the pinnacle & had to be defended. Now, titles are won quicker & vacated without much thought. Different times. Jr has some very impressive accomplishments that probably won’t be match for a long time IF ever. As does Pac. The one thing that won’t change is this non-fight will follow Jr. & Pac forever. An unofficial asterisk. You can’t argue both of these guys(Pac & Jr) have changed the sport for better or worse.

Floyd is going to go the way of Roy Jones Jr -at the same time jones just got past tarver in the 1st fight lennox just about got past vitali but lennox had the sense to realise his time had come and retired as for jones he continued and the rest is history. although Mayweather Vs Cotto wasnt that close cotto hit mayweather a lot more than anyone else and mayweather is a year older at 36 this sunday.TIme catches up with everyman and even if floyd gets past the ghost he wont get past alvarez who is a monster. but the point being if anyone is actually reading this is floyd is finished and he can only add to his bank balance but not to his legacy. It doesn’t matter which bum of the month knocks out roy these days the fact is he still beat hopkins & Toney in there prime, floyds biggest win was a split decision against an old cocaine using oscar – i love floyd he is my fav fighter but he should be hanging it up and pass the torch to broner in the same way lennox passed it to the klitsckos

Its defo Money’s toughest fight for a while,I expect Guerrero to apply pressure until the final bell, with that said Money wouldn’t have took the fight if he didn’t think he could win, he will have seen many openings that Berto wasn’t taking advantage of.

And SO did Marciano, Tunney, Wlad Klitschko.

People who think that because Floyd “toyed” with Marquez, he would do the same with Pacquiao, only show they truly don’t get how styles make fights…

Marquez VS Paquiao, Marquez VS Mayweather, and Pacquiao VS Mayweather would be totally different fights… And Floyd fears it too… TRUST ME!!

Marquez KO’d Pacquiao because he is and aggressive attacker coming at a guy, Marquez who-

1. Has even better counter punch timing than Mayweather,

2. Has the heart, grit and chin to be willing to take three hard shots from Pacquiao in order to counter with two, (Mayweather would NOT be willing to take Pacquiao’s onslaught and would just mainly defend on the ropes)

3. Like Floyd, Marquez is more of a sit back and counter style fighter… So he had no idea how to attack Mayweather. Particularly after Mayweather forced Marquez to bulk up on muscle weight for what was then the FIRST TIME in his career, which slowed him down greatly, just like Floyd knew it would…

4. UNLIKE Mayweather, Marquez cares about pleasing the crowd… So whenever they booed… Marquez, in an effort to make it a fight, would lumber that extra weight forward to try to attack Mayweather, which meant that when he tried, Mayweather, with his greater height, reach, speed, and weight, would just sit back and wait on the one handed Marquez, to come out of his counter-punching, comfort zone, to TRY to attack, which simply allowed Mayweathe to just picked Marquez apart with his own counters…

However, even Floyd knows he would NOT be able to do the same with the equally speedy, agile, and double fist, powered Pacquiao Juggernaut… And although Marquez could never hit Floyd, nevertheless Mayweather knows or at least FEARS, that he simply doesn’t have Marquez’ punching power nor output, to levy against Pacquiao…. Which again, is why for years now, Mayweather has moved heaven and earth to avoid fighting Pacquiao.

I understand but this one is really to make(colaboration) because Floydie and Arum disagreement. Floydie is moving his own way because he can make his own show we all know that so Floydie don’t want any part of Arum fighter especially Pacquiao. But saying Floydie will toy Pacquiao inside the ring is hard to believe unless it was proven by Floydie in a real fight. Floydie won the against Pacquiao by his mouth also his nuthuggers.

Te Tumbo- I don’t know if Guerrero is a worthy contender, but it’s what we’re gonna get. There’s not a lot to choose from at 147 anyways, so yeah, he’s certainly not the worst choice. I’m more eager to see your boy Canelo against Trout. This was the right choice for him for a lot of reasons. And I think Canelo will prove too much for Trout, who might make Canelo look bad for a while because I think Trout will be VERY defensive in this fight and it will be Canelo who’ll have to push the action, but in the end class will show.

Posted February 22, 2013 1:13 pm

Floyd now with Showtime means Floyd vs Pacquiao will never happen for sure now.
I see this fight as an easy win for Floyd. Guerrero gets hit way too easy.
In my opinion Canelo vs Trout is the main attraction here and this will increase the PPV buys which Floyd will take credit for.

When Mayweather was a real fighter, before he moved up to welter weight, and became a money grubbing conman, I used to be a die-hard fan…

Now I can’t hardly stand him. It is shameful that grown, people can be talked into shelling out hard cash for the cherry-picked one-sided bore fests Floyd offers.

He only fights people that he knows he can defend easily… And when a real threat emerges… He makes unfounded accusations and unheard of demands to perpetually stall or outright kill the fight.

But I got news for “Money”… Setting up sure things then proclaiming himself “The GOAT”, won’t work!… And talk, never made it alone. Not for Jack Johnson, Willie Pep, Ray Leonard, nor even the great Muhammad Ali; the best mouth-master in boxing history!…

Indeed, Ali, and all the true greats STILL had to PROVE they were “the best”, by FIGHTING THE BEST… For the last decade plus, Mayweather has been better at self-promotion and smoke and mirrors, than fighting real competition, to prove he is the “GOAT” he constantly proclaims himself to be.

Posted February 22, 2013 12:41 pm

Pac does not have a contact with HBO. You do realize he fought on Showtime also right? Pac doesn’t have a contract with HBO or Showtime. The fight won’t happen because Floyd would toy with Pac. And some of the so called fighters Floyd ducked had contracts for Showtime when Floyd had a contract HBO

Posted February 22, 2013 12:27 pm

Guerrero’s a worthy contender but is simply overmatched. a minor miracle and/or dramatic decline in Floyd’s fighting ability are the only scenarios that would result in a Guerrero win. Floyd is among the strongest if not Thee strongest welter out there and has the poise and tools to defuse and exploit a brawling fight-plan from Guerrero. he’s also got the superior skills and reflexes to outclass Guerrero in a boxing-punching duel. in fact, which Mayweather shows up is the primary source of suspense leading up to this fight. Team Guerrero is a thinking and calculating team and i’m certain they believe they’ll be able to adapt/innovate something that will allow Guerrero to ding Mayweather with his best shot(s). however, that is usually Floyd’s cue to kick-it-up a notch and apply his breakaway poise, skills, and talent in another dominant win. in fact, earning Floyd’s undivided attention is not always a good thing in a boxing ring.

Posted February 22, 2013 11:58 am

Sure, Guerrero looked good against Berto, but who doesn’t lol.

Posted February 22, 2013 11:32 am

It all hinges on the ref! If Guerrero doesn’t get a ref to allow him to wrassle, then look for a DQ. On the plus side, Floyd finally fights a guy with bad intentions.

Here’s the problem with Floyd – He is the best around and even when pitted against a top fighter it seems to be a mismatch (such is his ability). So we all buy the PPV to watch the possibility of this elite fighter being stretched.
BUT HERE’S THE THING – The only chance he has had to make a fight that will stretch him and give the public value for money he runs scared. i’m obviously talking Pacquiao (boring, i know!) here and find it onforgivable that win, lose or draw he ran from the challenge and denied us a truly great fight.

Posted February 22, 2013 7:16 am

This writer sounds like the promoter of the fight. Yes, it is interesting to see how Floyd is going to beat Guerrero, but fight of the year? Don’t see that coming. I do agree that is about the best fight for Floyd to fight at this time. Don’t worry, I will be watching!

the ghost will win

Posted February 22, 2013 5:47 am

That’s the key it doesn’t matter if the body blows land clean. If you headhunt may weather will make you miss all day. Also mayweather doesn’t throw many combinations. Ghost can steal rounds by smothering may weather and through shear volume of punches. I also feel that roughing up mayweather is huge. Floyd is so comfortable in the ring ghosts only chance is to make it a fight not a boxing match. Ortiz’s dirty tactics were throwing mayweather off if Ortiz wasn’t a mental midget he could of had a real chance. yes Floyd was easily beating Ortiz but after the headbutt may weather was so upset that he was ready to go toe to toe with Ortiz. Cotto could of had a chance as well but cotto never made it a fight he kept trying to box he used no roughouse tactics. He also neglected the body.

Posted February 22, 2013 2:46 am

Lee….You hit the nail on the head. Everyone falls in love with head hunting Floyd, If I was training Guerrero, or anyone else to fight Floyd, I say..don’t head hunt..Kill the Body early,,and often….hit him anywhere you can, be first in every exchange. After Floyd hit’s you with his best shot….talk to him, that all you got? Get a little dirty maybe, hit on the break, shove him off after every clinch… Get him out of his comfort zone! It’s his only chance, cause he sure as hell ain’t out boxing Floyd. Guerrero is more than a live dog!

It’s Me Ernie

I am a fan of the Ghost here, but Floyd knows how to win, it’s what he does…

Posted February 22, 2013 12:05 am

Mayweather is declining rapidly. He’s staying in the pocket more not because he wants to make exciting fights but because hes slowing down with age. Trout beat cotto more convincingly then mayweather did. Mayweather should beat ghost but it wouldn’t shock me if he gets old over night. Cotto and Ortiz where headhunting allowing mayweather to easily avoid punches. Ghost must focus his attack on the body it doesn’t matter if mqyweather picks off the body shots, he needs to keep banging his arms and elbows. Mayweather can’t run anymore ghost needs to rough may up pushing holding and hitting and a non stop body assault. Guerrero can steal rounds by coming forward at all times and doing what he does best throwing a ton of punches.

Posted February 21, 2013 11:29 pm

Boxtra…. for the most part I agree with you Skill and IQ WILL usually win. But don’t forget heart, heart will create opportunities against anyone even the great FMJ. and if you have the heart, the punch and as you said LUCK anything is possible ( but still unlikely in this case )

Posted February 21, 2013 9:49 pm

the Mayweather that defeated Cotto will be too much for Guerrero at 147lbs. not unlike Hatton, Guerrero’s ambition and confidence are commendable. however, it’s gonna take a minor miracle or a dramatic decline in Floyd’s fighting ability for Guerrero to prevail in this matchup. having said that, i’m intrigued by what Team Guerrero will try and innovate to try and level the playing field v. Mayweather? they’re a thinking and hardworking team and Guerrero is a multi-dimensional fighter. i’d be surprised if they tried to go the boxing-punching route. that’s Floyd’s wheelhouse but the brawling style also plays into Mayweather’s strengths as a boxer and ring-general. he’s deceptively strong and can grapple and tangle with the best and worst of them. Guerrero’s got his work cut out for him in what figures to be another showcase for Floyd “Truly Great” Mayweather.

Posted February 21, 2013 9:23 pm

I am not really to impressed with Guerrero but I am a Floyd fan and will definitely watch the fight. The undercard should be pretty good to since most times it is. Floyd is an all time great and I enjoy watching him fight. His skills surpass most in the boxing game

Floyd Mayweather should of fought Manny Pacquiao, but he purposely put a spanner in the works, why did he do that, should of just took the fight, win or lose it would been good for his career.

For those of you who wanted to see Margarito (pre-Mosley fight) vs Floyd, this is your chance. Guerrero is the same gritty, tough-as-nails fighter, as Margarito, BUT with a better defense. And despite Guerrero recently moving up to 154 he’s a large-frame guy — very much a middleweight. This fight will not be easy for Floyd, especially with the jail time and the long layoff… and now being 36 years old. I give Floyd tons of credit for taking such a risk.

Guerrero is #10 P4P and the FACT that this is being labeled as a MISMATCH is a testament to Floyd’s GOATNESS. NO ONE can turn a Guerrero Fight into a MISMATCH other than Floyd Mayweather. He’s SO GREAT that even the 10th rated Fighter in the World is no match.

Ghetto Thug

Chicago G ay keeps showing why he is the BIGGEST lame moron in ESB, the BIGGEST Money fan (but he denies it), and the BIGGEST dreamer who thinks Knocquiao has an opportunity against Money May… LMAO

Chicago guy

Other reason why Floyd jr. will not fight Pacquiao because Pacquiao is an HBO fighter and Floyd jr. is in Sho-cbs

Chiago guy

I see nothing from Guerrero to win this fight not because he is a weak opponent but they can do something to keep Floyd jr. zero record for marketing purpose(boxing business). If Floyd jr. lose to RG his marketing status will decline and think(opinion) they will not allow it to happen. In other words they can fix it.

Chiago guy

These are the 5 prospect opponents of Floyd jr. ccircus after Guerrero. Alvarez, Alexander, Khan, Pacquiao and Broner. I will exclude Alvarez and Pacquiao it won’t happen.Handpick opponent for Floyd to keep his zero for marketing purpose that will benefit sho-cbs too.

Largo- Guerrero IS a bit dirty, but he can ask Victor Ortiz and Shane what happens when you try to get nasty with Floyd. May doesn’t need to tell Guerrero to watch out, he’ll take care of business himself.

This is what bugs me about Guerrero and his promotional machine: “Fighting Guerrero will present Mayweather with his most difficult challenge since his fight with Oscar De La Hoya” Really?
If anything, Guerrero is the LEAST accomplished fighter May has fought since DLH.
It’s all smoke and mirrors with this guy, but in may 4 Guerrero will, for the first time in his career, fight a legitimate elite fighter that’s not washed up.BS won’t help you then.

Fight Aficionado

A boring mismatch that we all knew was happening months ago. Don’t care if Canelo vs Trout is on the undercard, we’re not buying. Most of these PPV cards are crap nowadays and this one’s more of the same.

Posted February 21, 2013 6:19 pm

Guerrero is dirty, period. He ruined Berto with his fouling…Floyd be warned.

E in Denver

Guerrero is versatile. The guy can box & mug guys when it comes to that. Even though Guerrero was able to bully a bulky guy like Berto I think Jr is stronger than Berto at least in the legs(where it matters). This is a decent match up of styles. It will be interesting to see how many problems Guerrero can give Jr. I won’t expect an upset but it will be a closer fight than some expect. Canelo vs. Trout would be nice addition for a usually shallow PPV card. Thankfully Marquez snuffed the non-fight of the century talk.

Floyd should warn the ref. about this guy dirty tactics…

Posted February 21, 2013 5:52 pm

Robert is a dirty fighter.

arroyo bob

this is anything but a showdown. Just one more lighter weight fighter moving up. You can fool some of the people…… know the saying.

I think RG will be good for 6 minutes before FMJ destrosy this mexican wannabe in rnd 3

Posted February 21, 2013 4:54 pm

Looking forward to this fight, I reckon Mayweather to win by close but unanimous decision, I think some pundits have been harsh on Guerrero, he is no Victor Ortiz – Guerrero wont quit & is a multi weight world champion & a rangy southpaw so will give Floyd a tough fight! Still see a FM win though

Money May via ass whooping

I never miss a PPV fight but considering the match up i will pass. unless canelo vs trout is a go!!!

Posted February 21, 2013 4:46 pm

This is a 12 round fight. Mayweather doesn’t have the pop to knock Guerrero out. I see a UD Mayweather. I give Guerrero a few rounds. He’s too small to really be a major threat but it’s good to see that Floyd is finally fighting live opponents.

Posted February 21, 2013 4:35 pm

I can see Mayweather losing this fight, seriously, could get beat up like Berto did.

Posted February 21, 2013 4:03 pm

It might actually be a good fight – similar to Mayweather vs Cotto. Guerrero brings it, just ask Berto.

Posted February 21, 2013 3:54 pm

I actually agree with Boxtradamus… I need to see if hell froze over or if pigs are flying by my window!

Gurrero is about 10X better fight than Alexander. I was already concerned when Floydiots claimed Alexander is the best choice and has a fair shot. Alexander has about 1/1000th shot against Mayweather while Gurrero maybe has 1/100th shot at best :-P

With reservations I’ll root for Gurrero but know it’s a highly unlikely outcome against the great FM. I honestly can say I just don’t like Mayweather’s attitude towards life and other people but at the same time I have an utter respect for his workmanship in the ring. I guess it’s the same phenomena back in Ali’s days when many wanted to see him defeated and shut up his loud mouth, which rarely happened. That being said, IMHO after jail FM seems to be another person with humbleness and dignity I’ve never sensed in him so from humane point of view wouldn’t mind if he comes on top anyway and it’s the most likely outcome of this bout. I don’t take anything away from Gurrero as well, he’s got the fundamentals right and a big heart is a plus but he goes against a masterclass boxer, an excellent man vs a pure genius type of a fight.

It’s a good fight and a good choice of an opponent no matter what the haters say.

May the best man win!

Mayweather is defensive magician but how can u defend ur self against a GHOST!!!

robert you are a dead man

Robert has only a ghost of a chance.

Posted February 21, 2013 3:07 pm

Sorry Guerrero but Jesus does not determine the WINNER of the Fight or else he would have determined Cotto the WINNER after Floyd beat his Ex. SKILLS and Boxing IQ determines the WINNER and you’re Out GUNNED. But go ahead and Fight your heart out and don’t give UP. Luck can defeat SKILLS. GOOD luck to you.
