“Money” has conned us again, or at least Showtime. The guy is still ducking da Pacman, and the only reason he chose the Ghost is because he underestimates him. Floyd’s fights are dull, he’s too afraid to get hit to risk anything, and if people would quit buying his fights – especially that joke fight against Victor Ortiz – he’d have to fight Pacman or Maravilla. And what’s this 6-fight contract? That means that Floyd would still be fighting 10 years from now – at 46? What’s up with that?

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

My Prrrecious. I loves my precious… I needs my precious… can’t lives without my precious. I will never let a true warrior my own size anywhere near my precious. My prrrecious.

Exiled Yank

I’ll be keeping my 70 bucks and it has nothing to do with not loving the sport and everything to do with loving my bank account more.

Pacquiao should be asking himself why the heck didn’t Arum get ME that type of contract? ?? I fought on Showtime BEFORE Floyd.

Posted February 22, 2013 5:16 pm

Pacquiao should FIRE Arum and hire Mayweather as his promoter. Pacquiao is the more entertaining Fighter yet its Floyd who just signed the RICHEST contract in the ENTIRE History of Sports. (more than $250 million) Arum should be ASHAMED of himself. Floyd just out promoted him.

“IF you love watching GOATNESS then you’ll love watching on May 4th. Floyd is the BEST to ever DO it!!” Goatness? Really? Pray tell is “Joy” a nannie or a buck?

“Aficianado, we ALL know Floyd is going to fight Canelo if he (Canelo wins) thats why he is on the undercard, you are griping just for the sake of it…” – We’ll see. They’ve hinted at Floyd vs Canelo but that is not signed. If they ink the fight then you can talk. If.

Posted February 22, 2013 4:49 pm

Shoeshineman-Floyd has already SAID that he will face the WINNER of Canelo vs Trout.

Posted February 22, 2013 3:07 pm

FA says…..”Unfortunately Floyd let Pac clean out the 147 lb division for him” -LOL. Fortunately cleaning out the P4P list is GREATER than cleaning out #0 P4P Fighters in one division. SO Floyd is building the GREATER legacy. Showtime agrees with ME on that!

Posted February 22, 2013 3:05 pm

How about Austin Trout. Let Mayweather fight him next.

Posted February 22, 2013 12:58 pm

Mayweather is a defensive magician but how do u defend ur self against a GHOST!!!!!!!

Taking a look at that hand wrapping on Bunny…….I think someone has left a duvet on there and then started wrapping….Its a wonder he got his gloves on

Did you just say that Floyd is not in the same class as pacquiao? Funny Floyd beat Oscar, Hatton, Mosley, destroyed Marquez, and has a win over Cotto. He beat 3 of the listed fighters above before Pacquiao if anything they are in the same class. I do believe that Guerrero will pressure him and make an exciting fight.

Posted February 22, 2013 5:09 am

Actually Floyd does not walk way above 147. When he fought Cotto he weighed 151 and then came in at 147. Come on now. Floyd walks around at 150.

Boxing is so bogus anymore that I am totally sick of the so called sport! Of course Fraud walks around way above 147. He had the height and the normal progression with any aging person is that you put on weight as the years go by. In either case this “Ghost” bullshizt guy that they found at the car wash doing wax jobs ain’t no kind challange for Fraud. Just another hyped up silly pay day that the fraud idioits couldn’t see thru if their lives depended on it. Complete denial…some really sad stuff for boxing!! SUCKFEST 2013!!

Aficianado, we ALL know Floyd is going to fight Canelo if he (Canelo wins) thats why he is on the undercard, you are griping just for the sake of it… As for Martinez again you are saying Mayweather has to face a MW after already moving up 4 divisions… Again you are trying to up the risk by upping the pounds instead of respecting a GREAT fighter doing his business at this NOW optimal weight… Sergio is not trying to disadvantage himself going any higher and neither is FMJ at the age of 36…. Floyds served his time

pacquiao??? you seriously think that pac would pose more than a threat???

you think all the above are classes above floyd? floyd has more skills and boxing IQ then any of the above, you could put any one of these guys best attribute against floyd and his skills find a way for him to win, hearns and hagler are the only ones who could cause the upset and thats due to there size, they have nothing on money’s skills in that ring

What do u mean lifestyles Floyd has not live a non profressional lifestyle when you r talking strictly about boxing. He is most professional of all professionals if you r speaking about boxing. He does it the right way an only the right way that’s why he’s still putting wins in the win column.

” I would only buy a Mayweather-Martinez or Mayweather-Canelo PPV. Eveerything else is a BS fight IMO.” – Yup. Unfortunately Floyd let Pac clean out the 147 lb division for him. Now there’s nothing left to do but fight at 154 if he wants a marquee fight. Which he doesn’t, because he’ll make plenty of money taking no-risk fights, as he has for years already.

Guerrero beating Mayweather would be a HUGE upset. Not Tyson/Douglas big, but bigger than if Rees had beaten Broner and they had 80-1 odds on that.

Posted February 21, 2013 5:27 pm

But not all Champs have been ready, ie The GREAT Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson on 2 occasions, and many others who have been upset… FMJ has often spoken of how being a fighter is like being a cop “one shot can end your career”…. Guerrero will likely look like a bigger Ricky Hatton pushing, shoving trying to get Floyd into position only to swallow some HARD leather to the chin…. Until proven otherwise there is no betting against FMJ

Posted February 21, 2013 5:19 pm

in all sports, even the least qualified opponent brings their best game when they go against the champion…’s up to the champ to let them know their best isn’t good enough…so the champ has to be ready at all times

Posted February 21, 2013 4:12 pm

Mayweather has shown us for 16 years that he underestimates NO ONE, he is NOT one of these fighters who comes into the ring not ready to go 12 hard rounds… He knows that EVERY fighters life changes when they fight him economically but should they win we are talking about legacy and exponential earnings potential… The guys who get in with him have NOTHING to lose, Guerrero would be another FMJ victim, but if he pulled off an upset it would be the MOST coveted 0 in boxing he would grab.. FMJ will be ready and his skills will be on full display chopping Guerrero up.

Posted February 21, 2013 3:40 pm

Guerrero is #10 P4P. SO if Floyd can hold him to a 10% connect rate thats a testament to his GOATNESS. When facing the 10th rated Fighter on the Planet is considered least risk that means you’re HEAD and SHOULDERS above the competition. I wish you were HERE campaigining with ME when Pacquiao faced 3 #0 P4P Fighters in a ROW.

Posted February 21, 2013 2:55 pm

Floyd will win via a UD in which Guerrero only lands like 10% of his punches. Yawwwwwwn. Floyd has great skills, but he’s turned into a “least risk for the most money” type of fighter. I would only buy a Mayweather-Martinez or Mayweather-Canelo PPV. Eveerything else is a BS fight IMO.

Posted February 21, 2013 2:38 pm

I hope that Floyd will fight the winner on the Canelo v.s. Trout match. After Trout gives Canelo his boxing lesson, maby Mayweather will take on Trout so that Austin can continue to clean up the division and pick up another belt. That is if Mayweather even gets past Guerrero. Either way Trout is eager to take on all jr. Middleweights, finally someone who is not looking for hand picked opposition.

MNboxingFAN – Sean

Floyd has taken a year between fights before. He’s had fights without Roger in his corner before. I’m sure he’s probably been in jail between fights before too. Floyd is a gym rat and always ready to fight. Guerrero is a good guy and good fighter, but Floyd is going make him look bad. Very bad. I’ll be watching though… like the sucker I am.

IF you love watching GOATNESS then you’ll love watching on May 4th. Floyd is the BEST to ever DO it!!
