Glad someone is doing a book about Camel and the boxing scene he was in. Fought Saad Muhammad in Missoula. Fought Ibar Arrington in Idaho and Sharkey for a cruiser title at the Adams Center, I think, too

Good stuff…

The article doesn’t even say, but this fight was on 3/31/1980, and it was for the vacant WBC cruiserweight title… Camel would go on to win the IBF’s first ever cruiserweight title in 1983 as well… First CW champ for two of the sanctioning bodies, certainly pretty cool.
