Udhe has heart but not much of a chin. He was doomed to be ko’d as soon as he signed to fight. he would do better if he didn’t try and exchange too much, but maintained his movement. Fernandez looked like a killer backstage, only to be unable execute once he got into the ring. I found out he only had a weeks notice for the fight, and didn’t do any sparring, and it showed. Ramos looked good in the fight, and Mendez (a mma fighter turned boxer) couldn’t compete with a disiplined boxer. Ramos Took a good left hook in the first rd that shook him a little but he stayed composed and on course for his thrid rd tko. I knew Rojas would beat Serrano. Don’t ask me why, but I swear I could see it in the body language. I think Flores might have been un nerved by Fernandez,s hand pad workout before his fight. Fernandez looked like the hardest puncher of the night backstage, and his movement was tight. Flores had a good skill set and power, but couldn’t seem to “up the anti” enough against Pineda. Pineda looks tough!

Ptown kid

I was at these fights last night a good overall card of young club fighters. The ref messed up big on the Leon vs Uhde fight. Moments befote the ko Leon was tagged and stumbled causing his glove to hit the mat. I’d like to see the ref call the knock down at that point but instead let them keep fighting then a moment later Leon scored with a lucky haymaker for the ko. Bad calls that cost fights shouldn’t be tolerated imo.
