Koval is 7-8 against fighters with winning records and 18-1 against fighters who have losing records. Jennings should win this fairly easy and hopefully will step up his competition after this fight.

I undrstand that this article is a press release, and that fighters like Jennings need to build their records and add some knockouts, but the readers should understand that Koval is being brought in for that reason. Level B and C heavyweights have knocked out Koval and, I presume, Jennings will also. Jennings has a right to keep busy with this sort of fight, but don’t pretend that this is a major test or a big fight.

Jennings has dangerous hand speed. He should win by ko. Jennings has said in interviews that he doesn’t look for the ko, but I think he can and accomplish it successfully- his record isn’t a good indicator of his punching power in my opinion.
